Mu' meneen Brothers and Sisters,

One of our brothers/sisters has asked this question:

tell me if you have al these restrictions on having sex before marriage yeah what are normal horny youngsters supposed to do ? sleep with prostitutes? masturbate ? have sex with goats or sheep ?become terrorists? and keep in mind normally ppl start getting there sex drives at 14 or 16 that is too early for them to marry cause they are too stupid ,figure that out ! i would like to see you answer that cheers

Answer:

Too young to marry

In the name of Allah, We praise Him, seek His help and ask for His  forgiveness. Whoever Allah guides none can misguide, and whoever He allows to fall astray, none can guide them aright. We bear witness that there is no one (no idol, no person, no grave, no prophet, no imam, no dai, nobody!) worthy of worship but Allah Alone, and we bear witness that Muhammad(saws) is His slave-servant and the seal of His Messengers.

Beloved brother, if one is young and has a sex drive which he cannot control, it would not be stupid or foolish of him to marry; but rather stupidity would be to commit ‘zina’ or fornication, and face the Wrath and Anger of Allah Subhanah on an Inevitable Day! It cannot be considered intelligence to grasp illegal pleasure momentarily in the transient life of this world; and pay the price that this sin of ‘fornication’ carries in the eternal life of the hereafter….now, that would really be stupid and foolish!

If one thinks he is too young and is not ready to marry; he must strive to obey Allah and His Messenger (saws); if truly he believes in Allah and the Last Day. And the Messenger of Allah (saws) gave a very good piece of advice to the young believers:

Sahih Al-Bukhari Hadith 7.3 Narrated by Alqama

The Prophet (saws) once said to us, 'O young people! Whoever among you is able to marry, should marry; and whoever is not able to marry, is recommended to fast, as fasting diminishes his sexual power.'

It would be wise and sensible for the young people who are unable to marry, to take the advice of the Messenger of Allah (saws) and save themselves from the Wrath and Anger of Allah Subhanah.

Whatever written of Truth and benefit is only due to Allah’s Assistance and Guidance, and whatever of error is of me. Allah Alone Knows Best and He is the Only Source of Strength.
