My question is about birth and death of all human beings.

Mu' meneen Brothers and Sisters,

As Salaam Aleikum wa Rahmatullahi wa Barakatuh.  (May Allah's Peace, Mercy and Blessings be upon all of you)

One of our brothers/sisters has asked this question:

Dear Brother

Thank you for answering to my question few months back. My question was not placed for general public view, which is fine with me...you have answered my question in best possible way.

Today my question is about birth and death of all human beings. We all born in similar procedure, regardless of color and race, wheather one believe in God or not, belongs to any tribe or nationality. Every human being spend 9 months in mothers` womb and goes through same growth pattern.

My actual question is WHY we all die in different ways. One baby spend full nine month in mothers` womb alive and die 5 minute after the birth. another baby born ill health but lived for 100 years.

all human beings dies` in different ways, some die in road accident, some die with ill health some with heart attack, some get murdered, some commit suicide and many other forms. WHY life has to end in different form, whereas we all born in similar fashion.

As a beliver in God we all can say that Allah Knows better.

Could you please explain this....if I am not asking to much..Thank you for providing right answers to all brothers and sisters and guiding us in light of Quran and Sunna.

Wasslam

Shahid

Answer:

Why die in different ways

In the name of Allah, We praise Him, seek His help and ask for His forgiveness. Whoever Allah guides none can misguide, and whoever He allows to fall astray, none can guide them aright. We bear witness that there is none worthy of worship but Allah Alone, and we bear witness that Muhammad (saws) is His slave-servant and the seal of His Messengers.

Your Question: WHY life has to end in different form, whereas we all born in similar fashion.

The Truth is brother that just as Nature has Decreed that we are all born in a similar way….all our deaths are absolutely identical! Although one may physically die in different forms, the Truth remains that at death, the soul of each and every individual is collected and gathered back unto their Lord Creator.

Allah Says in the Holy Quran Chapter 2 Surah Baqarah verse 156:

To Allah we belong and to Him Alone is our (ultimate) return.

Allah Says in the Holy Quran Chapter 39 Surah Zumar verse 42:

It is Allah that takes the souls (of men) at death: and (of those) those that die not during their sleep. Those on whom He has passed the Decree of death He keeps back (from returning their souls), but the rest He sends (the souls back to their bodies) for a term appointed. Verily in this are Signs for those who reflect.

Thus although it may physically appear that everything ends in a different way, the Truth is that spiritually everything returns back to That One and Only True Lord Who Created!

Allah Says in the Holy Quran Chatper 6 Surah Anaam verse 38:

38 There is not an animal (that lives) on the earth, nor a being that flies on its wings, but (forms part of) communities like you (humans). Nothing have We omitted from the Book, and they shall all be gathered (back) unto their Lord in the end.

To search and/or fathom the wisdom behind why the All-Knowing, All-Wise Lord Creator chose to physically end each in His creation in a dis-similar fashion…one must first and foremost believe, comprehend, and strive to understand the reason for our creation:

Allah says in the Holy Quran in Chapter 67 Surah Al Mulk verse 2:

He (Allah) created death and life that He may test you, to see which of you is the best in deeds.

The Lord created life and death so that He may involve man to a test for a limited and decreed period of one lifetime, to see who amongst man, of his own free will, recognizes, accepts and obeys His Lord Creator and who amongst man chooses to deny Him and His Guidance.

Thus Islam truly is a condition of one’s heart; in a split second one who is a disbeliever may choose to accept Islam, and in a split second one who is a believer may choose to become a disbeliever! And in His Supreme Wisdom and Knowledge, the Lord Most High has not disclosed the end period of each individuals test (ie. death)! Had all deaths been in a similar manner, one would have known that his death is at hand, and having lived all his life as a disbeliever, at the very last moment he could have repented of his sins and become a believer!!! All it takes to move from Allah’s Mercy to Allah’s Wrath, or Allah’s Wrath to Allah’s Mercy is a split second of a decision.

It is for this precise reason that death has been created as an ‘ambush’ which can strike at any time unknown to the individual….so that each individuals life ends in the state he willed to live it! If each who was involved in the test knew the end period of his test, it is only natural that each would live his whole life following his lusts, and desires, and temptations….and when his death was near he would repent and get all his sins forgiven!

Besides brother, it is only natural that every product is manufactured in a factory in a very similar fashion….be it cars, or computers, or phones, etc.; but how each products life is ended is indeed diverse and various. It would be unnatural and almost impossible if all the cars created by Toyota Car Company could only be destroyed by Toyota in the exact same manner; or every phone manufactured by Nokia could only be destroyed by Nokia in the exact same manner, etc. !!!

If one trusts, obeys, and follows the guidance and commands of Allah and His Messenger (saws), one can be assured of never ever being misled; but if one believes, obeys and follows any other guidance, other than that of Allah and His Messenger (saws), one can be assured of being led astray.

Whatever written of Truth and benefit is only due to Allah’s Assistance and Guidance, and whatever of error is of me alone. Allah Alone Knows Best and He is the Only Source of Strength.

Your brother and well wisher in Islam,

Burhan
