assalam-o-laikum brother Burhan,

I have read the many questions and replies you have received over the last few years and have always found them interesting and found that they have given me guidance in my everyday life.

I have know come across a video of a muslim girl who I have been told kicked the quran and then went to have a bath and stood on the quran and when she returned to her bed, she had been turned into a fish. The video shows her lying on the bed as a fish taking breaths, but she only has eye sockets no eyes and she has ribs. (May allah forgive me if this is untrue). I have been told that the girl fish died immediately and was buried as a muslim.

The question I ask of you and I will send you the video by email, is I know it is possible for this to happen by allah subhanatallah, but whats the message behind it? Can it be true? where in the quran does it talk about things like this? Does it mention these things in the hadiths??

A few years back I head about trees that do sajdah, is this true???

Brother burhan please reply to this email, as since seeing this video I am finding it very hard to come to terms with it. what surat can I read??

Allah punish girl who abuse quran

In the name of Allah, We praise Him, seek His help and ask for His forgiveness. Whoever Allah guides none can misguide, and whoever He allows to fall astray, none can guide them aright. We bear witness that there is no one (no idol, no person, no grave, no prophet, no imam, no dai, nobody!) worthy of worship but Allah Alone, and we bear witness that Muhammad (saws) is His slave-servant and the seal of His Messengers.

Dear and Beloved Sister in Islam, in light of the absolutely clear guidance of the Quran and the Sunnah, the life of this world is no more than a test and only a place to do deeds….and the place where the results will be announced, and the due rewards and punishments will be accorded is in the eternal life of the Hereafter.

Although it is well within the Power and Strength of the Lord Most High to do as He Wills and Pleases, it is just not His Sunnah or way to punish an individual for every individual sin until the expiry of their stated and determined term of life expires! Allah is our witness sister, were the Lord Most High punish men immediately according to every evil they do, not a single living creature would be able to survive on this earth! It is nothing but His Sublime and Endless Grace and Mercy that He gives His creation enough and ample time to repent for the evil they did and turn back to Him in sincere repentance and amend their conduct; for He is indeed the Oft-Forgiving, Most Merciful.

Allah Says in the Holy Quran Chapter 35 Surah Fatir verse 45:

45 If Allah were to punish men according to what they deserve, He would not leave on the back of the (earth) a single living creature: but He gives them respite for a stated term: when their term expires verily Allah has in his Sight all His servants.

Allah Alone Knows the exact authenticity of such incidents; and He Alone is sufficient to dispose off all affairs. Beloved sister, in the annuls of history, evil transgressors of the likes of the Pharaoh, or Abu Jahl, or Abu Lahab, etc. have disobeyed and disrespected Allah’s Books and Allah’s Prophets in innumerable and inconceivable ways…but the Lord Most High did not immediately bring about His chastisement upon them as soon as they did their evil!!!

Thus as much as this incident is reported, one should be careful of believing and propagating such heresays and stories and declaring them as the miracle of chastisement of Allah Subhanah; specially when such happenings are against the guidance of the Quran and the Sunnah.

It often happens when one truly investigates the authenticity of such supposed ‘super-natural’ incidents, they turn out to be a mere and absolute hoax. In this day and age of technology, it is so easy for one to doctor a photograph or a video footage….and although Allah Alone knows Best, it is more than likely that the video that you have witnessed has been doctored to suit someone’s imagination!

Beloved Sister, quite a number of times we have been sent email photographs of the name of Allah and Prophet Mohamed (saws) written in the clouds, and trees growing in a formation which reads ‘Laa-ilaaha illalaah’, and trees doing the act of prostration, etc.; but a simple investigation revealed that those images were doctored.

Beloved Sister, although the Lord is Able and Capable of doing anything He Wills and Pleases….and many a times He has shown huge miracles at the hands of His Appointed Prophets as related by Him in His Glorious Quran; but in this day and age when no Prophet of Allah exists amongst us, it is simply against the Sunnah and Way of Allah to bring about His manifest Signs without purpose, especially when innumerable Signs of Allah are manifested in absolutely everything that is created by Him!

My dear and beloved Sister, the deen of Al-Islam is the deen of ‘fitrah’ or nature…and in absolute consonance with intelligence and logic and common sense. When a supernatural incident actually occurs which defies logic and common sense, rest assured that it can only occur at the hands of an appointed Prophet of Allah, with the Precise Will of The Lord Most High.

Thus all such supposed incidents today where a girl becomes a fish, or trees doing the act of sajdah, or stones replying the ‘salaam’ salutations, or trees growing in a particular formation to read or mean something, or clouds forming in a particular formation to read or mean something, etc. are mere heresay, stories, and a figment of someone’s imagination and no more!!!

Whatever written of Truth and benefit is only due to Allah’s Assistance and Guidance, and whatever of error is of me alone. Allah Alone Knows Best and He is the Only Source of Strength.
