I am aware that this question is pretty large, but since i had to relate to you with clarity i had no other option
Mu' meneen Brothers and Sisters,
As Salaam Aleikum wa Rahmatullahi wa
Barakatuh. (May Allah's Peace, Mercy and Blessings be upon all of you)
One of our brothers/sisters has asked
this question:
Dear
Brother Burhan
I am
an ardent reader of the most useful information provided through this great web
service of yours. In fact i may admt that a lot many midconceptions have been
removed from my mind ans enhanced my firm belief in the supremacy of Allah
s.w.t and his last messenger Mohammed (PBUH).
After
having gone through the various questions posed and answered on the subject
"Unseen" vis-a-vis what i am currently seeing around me, i am led to
some additional confusion which i do sincerely hope that you will be able to
clarify in the light of the Holy Quran and the Sunnah.
During
recent days i have been introduced to a rather pious looking muslim imam who
claims that through recitation of certain verses he is visited upon by a
certain "BUZARG" (Very aged) Jinn who is also a very pious muslim.
Now in this state of trance one can speak with the Buzarg Jinn who tells us
wether any evil spell has been cast on oneself or his family or business etc
etc.
Now
the disturbing part of this sessions (Ones that i was myself personally
present) are that this Buzarg Jinn revealed to me certain events of my life
including the location and layout of my present residence quite accurately. It
beats me to understand how he could mention certain events that have taken
place more that 25 to 30 years back.
Subsequently
the Imam upon whom this Buzarg descendsthe mentions certain cures which he says
that should either be performed on the sea shore or a river bed with flowing
water. He also assures me that whatever cure that he does is with the help of
the Holy Quran itself. In his defense he mentions that black magic was
inflicted upon the Holy Prophet (PBUH) himself which was susequentlu cured bu
the revelation of certain verses. He however says that the Holy Prophet (PBUH)
was under great strain and agony during a period of two to three weeks before
he was cured. He also mentions certain verses of the Holy Quran pertaining to
the Propher Sulaiman (A.S) and how the Jinns used to obey his commands for
certain supernatural acts.
During
these interactions with this Imam and a number of my friends who have
befriended him (who also claim that they too have been told about various
things or events from their past accurately) He mentions that all cures
provided by him are but as an act of a spiritual doctor (Just like the Asbaab
you have mentioned in one of your replies) and the ultimate benefit or cure can
come from Allah s.w.t alone. He mentions that the Buzarg Jinn who is his
benefactor is about 800 years old and can therfore relate to past events very
accurately.
Brother
Burhan can you kindly advise me on what course of action i need to take as i
see more and more people taking help from this man and some of then have asked
me to obtain help from more knowledgeable sources like you kindself.
I am
aware that this question is pretty large, but since i had to relate to you with
clarity i had no other option. You are however free to edit this and post as
you like.
Was
Salaam
S.S.Rahman

Answer:
Seek help from jinn
In the name of Allah, We praise Him, seek His help and ask
for His forgiveness. Whoever Allah guides none can misguide, and whoever
He allows to fall astray, none can guide them aright. We bear witness that
there is no one (no idol, no person, no
grave, no prophet, no imam, no dai,
nobody!) worthy of worship but Allah Alone, and we bear witness that
Muhammad (saws) is His slave-servant and the seal of His Messengers.
Your Statements:
During recent days i have been introduced to a rather pious looking muslim imam

Dear and beloved brother, there is absolutely nothing in
the authentic and established traditions of the Messenger of Allah (saws)
whereby he (saws) guided the believers to recite anything that will result in a
‘buzurg’ Jinn visiting them, or one can speak with the Jinn, or the supposed
Jinn will inform the believers regarding the ‘evil spell’ which has supposedly
been cast on oneself or his family or business!!!!
Thus the questions which should be asked to the ‘rather’
pious looking imam are:
How did he find out which verses when read result in the
visitation of the supposed ‘buzurg’ Jinn?
Did Allah declare something like this in His Quran?? Did the Messenger of Allah (saws) inform the
believers regarding it? Did Hadrat
Jibrael (a.s.) come to this imam and inform him by inspiration?????
If the answer to all the above questions are ‘no’, and
they can be nothing else but a ‘no’; then know with total and absolute
conviction that such ‘rather’ pious looking holy men are nothing but absolute
and total frauds and conmen, their supposed ‘buzurg’ jinns are nothing but a
figment of their imagination and evil ploys to take the believers away from the
Straight Path of Allah.
There are unfortunately thousands if not tens of thousands
of such unscrupulous conmen and frauds operating all over the world…on
television, in magazines, in newspapers, and in unsuspecting communities!
Now the disturbing
part of this sessions (Ones that i was myself personally present) are that this
Buzarg Jinn revealed to me certain events of my life including the location and
layout of my present residence quite accurately. It beats me to understand how
he could mention certain events that have taken place more that 25 to 30 years
back….. He mentions that the Buzarg Jinn who is his benefactor is about 800
years old and can therfore relate to past events very accurately.
Beloved brother, be aware that these unscrupulous and
supposedly ‘holy men’ who wear the garb and face of a pious muslim but barter
the Words of Allah for a paltry worldly gain are masters of their trade of
fraud and experts in such scams and cons of how exactly to ‘plug’ the
unsuspecting customer!!!
They will use every means at their disposal to find out a
few things about their customer…where he lives, where he works, his family
members, a little of his past, etc….or if they genuinely met you out of the
blue for the very first time, from a slight conversation they gauge the
approximate condition of their unsuspecting customer and tell them generic
instances from their past like you fell very ill 10-12 years ago…or your
marriage proposal was rejected many times….or a very close friend or family
member died in the recent past….you are having difficulty in your marriage or
job….etc. etc. And if you answer
anything enthusiastically, he will extrapolate on that topic until the
unsuspecting customer is totally ‘plugged’ into his fraud and scheme……
Secondly, I am 40 something years old and I only know or
remember of the past of things about the people I have interacted with, or that
have happened in front of my eyes, or heard, or experienced! If as the fraud claims the ‘jinn’ who tells
him things is 800 years old and that is why he knows accurately everything that
has passed…..it would mean that the ‘jinn’ is all-knowing, all-seeking, and
omnipresent in his knowledge for he knows what happened with everyone for the
past 800 years!
Beloved brother in Islam, it is Allah Subhanah Alone Who
is All-Knowing, All-Seeing, All-Aware and Omnipresent with his Perfect and
Absolute Knowledge….and He Alone Knows what exactly has transpired in the past,
what is happening at present, and what will happen in the future!
To believe that the Jinn is aware of everything that has
happened everywhere and with everyone for the past 800 years is to share with
one in creation the Attributes of All-Knowing, All-Aware which belong to none
save Allah Subhanah Alone!
Dear and beloved brother, leave alone knowing anything of
anyone in the past 30 years….if you ask the ‘holy man’ to name the toothpaste
you used this morning, or what time you got up this morning, or the headlines
of the newspaper you read this morning, or the color of the pajamas you wore
that morning….the supposed ‘holy man’ and his supposed all-knowing ‘buzurg’
jinn will not be able to tell you the answers to your mundane questions?????
Your Question:
Subsequently the Imam upon whom this Buzarg descendsthe mentions certain cures
which he says that should either be performed on the sea shore or a river bed
with flowing water.
To approach such blatantly fraudulent spiritual doctors or
to believe in such supernatural spells and remedies is to disbelieve in Allah
and His Messenger(saws)!!!
Al-Tirmidhi Hadith 551 Narrated by Abu Hurayrah
Allah's Messenger (saws) said, ‘He who
approaches (or believes in) a ‘kahin’ (fore-teller, soothsayer, astrologist,
etc) has disbelieved in that which was revealed to Muhammad (saws).’
Your Statement: In
his defense he mentions that black magic was inflicted upon the Holy Prophet
(PBUH) himself which was susequentlu cured bu the revelation of certain verses.
Al-Tirmidhi Hadith 1019 Narrated by Abu Sa'id al-Khudri
The Prophet (saws) used to seek Allah’s protection
against the ‘Shayateen’ (amongst the Jinns) and the ‘evil eye’ (spells, charms,
magic, envy, etc.) till Surahs al-Falaq and an-Naas were revealed. After they were revealed he (saws) stuck to
them and discarded everything beside them.
The one and only remedy one requires when one fears harm
from any quarter of the ‘unseen’ is to recite the Muawidaat (113th
Surah Al-Falaq and 114th Surah An-Naas) thus seeking refuge in Allah
from any and all evil. Other than
seeking refuge in Allah by reciting the Muawidaat, one need not do or say
anything else, for indeed Allah Subhanah Alone is more than Sufficient and Able
as a Protector and Helper. If one seeks
any other protection by doing anything else like tying a knot on a rope,
wearing an amulet, or shedding blood, or any other rite or ritual as a
protection against the fear of the evil of magic….they will be deemed seeking
protection from something or someone other than Allah Subhanah; and such an act
would be tantamount to the unforgivable and heinous crime of ‘shirk’ in the
Sight of the Lord.
If one seeks protection from magic, all one needs to do is
recite the Muawwedaat (the 113th Surah Al-Falaq and the 114th
Surah An-Naas) and seek refuge in the Lord Most High. Once the believer recites the Muawwedaat,
keeps his full faith and trust in the Power and Strength of his Lord Most High
Alone, and declares himself to be in the refuge of none save the Lord Most
Majestic, Allah is our witness, all the magic of all the magicians of the world
would not be able to harm him in the least whatsoever. All Strength and all Power is with none save
Allah Subhanah, The Lord of the Worlds Alone.
Your Statement: He also mentions certain verses of the
Holy Quran pertaining to the Propher Sulaiman (A.S) and how the Jinns used to
obey his commands for certain supernatural acts.
Allah Says in the Holy Quran Chapter 38 Surah
Saad verses 35-38:
35 He (Hadrat Sulaimaan (a.s.) said "O my Lord! Forgive me and
grant me a Kingdom which suits not another after me: for Thou art the Grantor
of Bounties (without measure)."
36 Then We subjected the wind to his power to flow gently to his order
whithersoever he willed
37 As also the ‘Shayateen’, (including)
every kind of builder and diver
38 As also others bound together in fetters.
Allah Says in the Holy Quran Chapter 34 Surah
Saba verses 12-14:
12 And to Sulaimaan (We made) the wind (obedient): its early morning
(stride) was a month's (journey) and its evening (stride) was a month's
(journey); and We made a font of molten brass to flow for him; and there were
Jinns that worked in front of him by the leave of his Lord, and if any of them
turned aside from Our Command We made Him taste of the Penalty of the Blazing
Fire.
13 They (the Jinns) worked for him as he desired (making) arches, images,
basins as large as reservoirs, and (cooking) cauldrons fixed (in their places):
"Work ye sons of Dawood with thanks! But few of My servants are
grateful!"
14 Then when We decreed (Sulaimaan’s) death nothing showed them his
death except a little worm of the earth which kept (slowly) gnawing away at his
staff: so when he fell down the Jinns saw plainly that if they had known the
unseen they would not have tarried in the humiliating Penalty (of their task!).
Beloved Brother, the case of the Noble Prophet Sulaimaan
(a.s.) was a very special case as related in the Glorious Quran by the Lord
Most High. Hadrat Sulaimaan (a.s.)
supplicated Allah Subhanah to give him such a kingdom and power that would be
absolutely unique and magnificent and would not be bestowed on anyone after
him. The Lord answered the supplications
of the Prophet Sulaimaan (a.s.) and gave him a kingdom whereby the winds were
subjected to Hadrat Sulaimaan (a.s.) by the Leave of Allah, and the evil
amongst the Jinns were subjected as hard laborers to Hadrat Sulaimaan (a.s.) to
build and construct things of his liking by the Leave of Allah Subhanah, etc.
The Jinns that were subjected to Hadrat Sulaimaan (a.s.)
as a special favor by the Lord were laborers and workers who did hard-labor
according to his bidding….not some honorable ‘buzurg’ jinn who would bring him
the news of the unseen, or inscribe medical or spiritual cures for illness or
diseases, etc.!!!!
The Jinns that Allah Subhanah subjected to Hadrat
Sulaimaan (a.s.) as a special favor is a Fact and a Truth related by Allah
Subhanah….and in Allah and His Messengers (a.s.) we have believed.
The supposed ‘buzurg’ jinn descending upon the supposed
‘holy man’ informing him of everything of the past 800 years and giving cures
for spiritual illness is no more than a fraudulent sham and con of an
unscrupulous ‘holy man’, and against the clear guidance of the Quran and the
Sunnah. In all such confirmed and
manifest liars, Allah is our witness, the believers have disbelieved!
Your Question:
Brother Burhan can you kindly advise me on what course of action i need to take
as i see more and more people taking help from this man and some of then have
asked me to obtain help from more knowledgeable sources like you kindself.
If you are fortunate enough to be a citizen of an Islamic
country, immediately report the fraudster to the concerned authorities….so that
he does not harm another unsuspecting believer!
But if you reside in a pagan nation, abstain from such an
evil person who uses the blessed Names of Allah, His Messengers, and His Books
to sell his evil schemes to unsuspecting and ignorant customers!
Allah says in the Holy Quran Chapter 2 Surah
Al-Baqarah verse 174:
Indeed those,
who conceal the commands that Allah has sent down in His Book and barter
them away for paltry worldly gains, fill
their bellies with fire. Allah will
not speak to them on the Day of Resurrection,
nor will He regard them as pure and there is a painful torment for them!
Allah says in the Holy Quran Chapter 9 Surah Taubah
verses 34-35 :
O you who believe! There are indeed many among the priests and
the holy men who devour the wealth of others by evil means, and debar the people from the Way of
Allah. Give them the good news of a
painful torment, who hoard up gold and
silver and do not expend these in the Way of Allah. The Day shall surely come when the same gold
and silver shall be heated in the fire of Hell,
and with it will be branded their foreheads, their bodies and their backs. (And it will be said): “Here is that treasure
you had hoarded up for yourselves! Taste
now the evil of your hoarded treasure!”
Beloved brother in Islam, as your brothers and sincere
well-wishers in faith we humbly warn you that to approach or believe or fear
such evil spiritual doctors, in their stories, in their supposed ‘buzurgs’ and
jinns, in their spiritual diagnosis of illnesses, or their spiritual cures,
etc. is to disbelieve in what has been revealed to Prophet Mohamed (saws)!!!!
Al-Tirmidhi Hadith 551 Narrated by Abu Hurayrah
Allah's Messenger (saws) said, ‘He who
approaches (or believes in) a ‘kahin’ (fore-teller, soothsayer, astrologist,
etc) has disbelieved in that which was revealed to Muhammad (saws).’
Dear and beloved brother in Islam, believe with absolute and
total conviction that if Allah Wills to protect someone….if all of mankind and
all of the jinns were to get together and try to harm that person in the
‘unseen’, they would not be able to do so!
And if the Lord Wills to afflict someone with a trial….Allah is our
witness brother, if all of mankind and all of the jinns were to get together
and try to remove that affliction, they would not be able to do so in the
least! All Power and All Strength is
vested in none save our Lord and Creator, Allah Subhanah wa Taala.
Allah says in the Holy Quran Chapter 10 Surah
Yunus verses 106-107:
And do not call besides Allah, any being that
can neither do you any good nor any harm.
For if you will do so, you shall
be one of the doers of wrong. If Allah
afflicts you with a calamity, there is
none to remove it, but He Himself. Likewise,
if Allah wills to bestow a favor on you,
there is none to withhold Allah’s Bounty. He bestows His bounty on anyone of His
servants He wills. And He is The
Forgiving, The Merciful.
If one trusts, obeys, and follows the guidance and
commands of Allah and His Messenger (saws),
one can be assured of never ever being misled; but if one believes, obeys and follows any
other guidance, other than that of Allah and His Messenger (saws), one can be assured
of being led astray.
Whatever written of Truth and benefit is only due to
Allah’s Assistance and Guidance, and whatever of error is of me alone. Allah Alone Knows Best and He is the Only
Source of Strength.
Your brother and
well wisher in Islam,
Burhan
