my second question is are boys and girls not allowed to touch not have any kind of phisical contact between them?

i feel like theres a lot to learn in islam and i want to learn from a young age so i don`t do anything wrong or not intend to do anything wrong. there one thing else, i used to give hugs to boys in school when they often asked me for one. now i want to know after falling in my deep thoughts and thinking about the past i want to know if what i did was wrong or a sin?
Thank You

Answer:

Hug boys

In the name of Allah, We praise Him, seek His help and ask for His forgiveness. Whoever Allah guides none can misguide, and whoever He allows to fall astray, none can guide them aright. We bear witness that there is no one (no idol, no person, no grave, no prophet, no imam, no dai, nobody!) worthy of worship but Allah Alone, and we bear witness that Muhammad (saws) is His slave-servant and the seal of His Messengers.

Allah says in the Holy Quran Chapter 17 Surah Israa verse 32: Do not even go near ‘zina’ (fornication or adultery) for it is a very indecent thing and a very evil way!

Dear and Beloved Sister, the act and evil of ‘zina’ is so despised by Allah Subhanah that He has Commanded those who sincerely believe in Him and the Last Day to ‘not even go near’ it! The casual friendship between non-mehram members of opposite sex, or the casual talking between them, or the casual touching between them, etc. are all paths that would perchance approach the evil path and abomination of ‘zina’…thus all such friendships, casual talking, meeting, touching, etc. are absolutely forbidden for the believers who sincerely fear Allah and the Last Day.

There is absolutely no harm if one has a specific need and wishes to talk to a non-mehram member of the opposite sex; but one should fear Allah and talk or associate with the non-mehram on a purely business-like and straight forward manner.

Al-Tirmidhi Hadith 3118 Narrated by Umar ibn al-Khattab

The Prophet (saws) said, "Whenever a man is alone with a (non-mehram) woman the Shaytaan makes a third!"

Islam absolutely forbids the casual meeting and talking and friendships between a non-mehram man and woman, leave alone touching or hugging each other! Such acts would indeed be manifest sins in the Sight of Allah Subhanah.

Whatever written of Truth and benefit is only due to Allah’s Assistance and Guidance, and whatever of error is of me alone. Allah Alone Knows Best and He is the Only Source of Strength.

Your Brother in Islam,

Burhan
