Mu' meneen Brothers and Sisters,
As Salaam Aleikum wa Rahmatullahi wa Barakatuh. (May Allah's Peace, Mercy and Blessings be upon all of you)
One of our brothers/sisters has asked this question:
As Salam Aelikum, I own a daycare center outside my house. Even though in my house we do not celebrate Christmas, we do have X'mas tree at the daycare center. We also have a annual party including having Santa at that time for the parents and children attending. Every one at the center knows I am a muslim and I don't celebrate or believe in Christmas. Please let me know if I am wrong.

X-Mas Santa Party
In the name of Allah, We praise Him, seek His help and ask for His forgiveness. Whoever Allah guides none can misguide, and whoever He allows to fall astray, none can guide them aright. We bear witness that there is no one (no idol, no person, no grave, no prophet, no imam, no dai, nobody!) worthy of worship but Allah Alone, and we bear witness that Muhammad (saws) is His slave-servant and the seal of His Messengers.
Sahih Al-Bukhari Hadith 7.116 Narrated by Abdullah bin Umar
The Prophet (saws) said, "Everyone of you is a guardian and everyone of you is responsible (for his wards). A ruler is a guardian and is responsible(for his subjects); a man is a guardian of his family and responsible (for them); a wife is a guardian of her husband's house and she is responsible (for it), a slave is a guardian of his master's property and is responsible (for that). Beware! All of you are guardians and are responsible (for your wards)."
Beloved Sister, since you are the owner of the daycare centre, you will be held responsible and accountable in the Court of Allah for what happens under your care, authority, and guardianship. It does not behove and befit one who truly believes in Allah and the Last Day to celebrate, facilitate, or participate in the celebration of pagan festivals and the believers should fear Allah and strive to abstain from it.
If one trusts, obeys, and follows the guidance and commands of Allah and His Messenger (saws), one can be assured of never ever being misled; but if one believes, obeys and follows any other guidance, other than that of Allah and His Messenger (saws), one can be assured of being led astray.
Whatever written of Truth and benefit is only due to Allahs Assistance and Guidance, and whatever of error is of me alone. Allah Alone Knows Best and He is the Only Source of Strength.
Your brother and well wisher in Islam,
