Husband wife fight make up in one night
In the name of Allah, We praise Him, seek His help and ask for His forgiveness. Whoever Allah guides none can misguide, and whoever He allows to fall astray, none can guide them aright. We bear witness that there is none worthy of worship but Allah Alone, and we bear witness that Muhammad (saws) is His slave-servant and the seal of His Messengers.
Respected brother in Islam, it is only natural and expected that when two people live together, even if they happen to be a husband and a wife united in the sacred bond of marriage, might disagree or perchance even quarrel or argue on a matter….this is only natural and should be expected, and there is absolutely no harm and no sin in such disagreements.
Even a person of the stature of the Messenger of Allah (saws) had disagreements with his noble and chaste wives…..and it is recorded in the authentic and established Sunnah that such was the disagreement at one time that the Messenger of Allah (saws) took and fulfilled his oath to stay away from all his wives for a period of one full month!!
Sahih Al-Bukhari Hadith 3.134 Narrated by Um Salama
The Prophet (saws) vowed to keep aloof from his wives for a period of one month, and after the completion of 29 days he went either in the morning or in the afternoon to his wives. Someone said to him "You vowed that you would not go to your wives for one month." He (saws) replied, "The month can be of 29 days."
Sahih Al-Bukhari Hadith 3.649 Narrated by Anas
Allah's Messenger (saws) took an oath that he would not go to his wives for one month. He stayed in an upper room when Hadrat Umar (r.a.) went to him and asked, "Have you divorced your wives, O Messenger of Allah (saws)?" He (saws) replied, "No, but I have taken an oath that I would not go to them for one month." The Prophet (saws) stayed there for twenty-nine days, and then came down and went to his wives.
Thus brother, if one happens to at times to have a disagreement, or even quarrel or argue with one’s spouse, it is only natural and should be expected of two people who live together; and such temporary disagreements by themselves do not constitute a sin. What would indeed constitute a sin is if one amongst them transgresses the prescribed Boundaries of Allah and starts to accuse, or abuse, or oppress, or unjustly usurps the lawful rights of their spouse….that then would indeed constitute a sin in the Sight of their Lord.
Although there is no stipulation in Shariah that a disagreement or quarrel between a husband and a wife united in the sacred bond of marriage cannot last for more than one night……the general guidance of the Messenger of Allah (saws) is that when two believers perchance happen to have a disagreement and/or quarrel, the one who makes the peace initiative first is the one who will have the reward in the Presence of their Lord.
Whatever written of Truth and benefit is only due to Allah’s Assistance and Guidance, and whatever of error is of me alone. Allah Alone Knows Best and He is the Only Source of Strength.
Your brother and well wisher in Islam,
