Answer:

Intention for revert

In the name of Allah, We praise Him, seek His help and ask for His forgiveness. Whoever Allah guides none can misguide, and whoever He allows to fall astray, none can guide them aright. We bear witness that there is none worthy of worship but Allah Alone, and we bear witness that Muhammad (saws) is His slave-servant and the seal of His Messengers.

Sahih Al-Bukhari Hadith 9.85 Narrated by Umar bin Al Khattab (r.a.)

The Prophet (saws) said, 'O people! The reward of deeds depends upon the intentions, and every person will get the reward according to what he has intended. So, whoever migrated for Allah and His Messenger (saws), then his emigration was for Allah and His Messenger (saws); and whoever migrated to take worldly benefit or for a woman to marry, then his emigration was for what he emigrated for."

If your husband had absolutely no intention to believe or follow the tenets of Islam, but he reverted to Islam and declared the ‘shahaadah’ only so that it would become eligible for him to marry a believing woman…….he would be considered a ‘legal’ muslim in the Sight of Shariah Law and the believers, and every right that is due to a ‘muslim’ would be accorded to him in full in the life of this world…..but his reversion to Islam would hold no merit in the Sight of Allah Subhanah, nor would he be regarded as a ‘real’ muslim in the Sight of the Lord in the Hereafter.

But if subsequently Allah Subhanah opened the heart of your husband to the Truth of Islam and blessed him to become a practicing muslim, he became a ‘real’ muslim in the Sight of his Lord Creator…..and if the Lord Most Gracious so Wills, he will be included amongst the ranks of ‘real’ muslims in the Presence of the Lord Most Merciful on that Inevitable and Tumultuous Day of Judgment, Insha Allah.

Your Question: plz tell me that his convertation is right or wrong

Respected Sister, we reiterate again, that as long as your husband verbally professed belief in the Absolute Oneness of Allah Subhanah and the appointment of Prophet Mohamed (saws) as the Last and Final Messenger of Allah…..absolutely regardless of his intentions….he will be considered a ‘legal’ muslim in the Sight of Shariah Law and the believers, and every single right that is due to a ‘muslim’ would be accorded to him in full.

But because his intention to revert to Islam was not for Allah Subhanah and only for a paltry worldly gain (like marriage, etc.), he obviously would have no reward for his ‘legal’ (first) reversion in the Presence of his Lord in the Hereafter. But subsequently, when your husband truly accepted Islam for Allah’s Sake (his second or ‘real’ reversion), and he became a practicing ‘muslim’……it is expected that he will have his full and due reward for his ‘real’ (or second) reversion in the Presence of His Lord Most Gracious, Most Merciful.

Amr ibn al-Aas narrates: "When Allah guided me to Islam, I went to the Prophet (saws) and said to him: 'O Prophet of Allah (saws)! Stretch out your hand so that I may pledge my allegiance to you.' The Prophet (saws) stretched out his hand to me, but I withdrew my hand. The Prophet (saws) asked: 'O 'Amr! What is the matter with you?' I said: 'I would like to stipulate a condition! ' The Prophet (saws) asked: 'What is it?' I said: 'That all my past sins be forgiven!' The Prophet (saws) replied: 'O 'Amr! Do you not know that (the acceptance of) Islam wipes off all past sins, and ‘hijrah’ (migration for Allah's Cause) wipes off all sins, and (similarly) Hajj wipes off all past sins!"'
