Mu' meneen Brothers and Sisters,
As Salaam Aleikum wa Rahmatullahi wa Barakatuh.

One of our brothers/sisters has asked
this question:
1) Does islam say
anything about age of marrying a girl what should be age difference.
2) Till what age the women or men need sex as per Islam or what ever source of
Info.
(There may be some grammatical and spelling
errors in the above statement. The forum does not change anything from

Answer:
What age can girls
marry
In the name of Allah, We praise Him, seek His
help and ask for His forgiveness. Whoever Allah guides none can misguide,
and whoever He allows to fall astray, none can guide them aright. We bear
witness that there is none worthy of worship but Allah Alone, and we bear
witness that Muhammad (saws) is His slave-servant and the seal of His
Messengers.
Q-1:
Does islam say anything about age of marrying a girl what should be age
difference.
Al-Tirmidhi Hadith 3090 Narrated by Abu Hurayrah
Allah's Messenger (saws) said, 'When someone
with whose religion and character you are satisfied asks your daughter in
marriage, accede to his request. If you do not do so, there will be temptation
on earth and extensive corruption.'
Although Islam guides and encourages the believers to
hasten to marry, it does not stipulate an age or time limit for a girl to
marry, nor does Islam restrict the believers regarding the age difference
between the spouses in marriage. One is
at absolute liberty to choose to marry their girls at their time and age of
convenience.
Q-2:
Till what age the women or men need sex as per Islam or what ever source of
Info.
Islam does not restrict or stipulate or prescribe an age
after which it is discouraged or unlawful to have sex. Although it is only natural that one’s desire
for sex diminishes with age, it is possible that one who is of an abject old
age still has the strength and desire for sexual intercourse….and there is
absolutely no harm as long as the person fulfills their sexual desires lawfully
and within the prescribed boundaries of Islam.
Whatever written of Truth and benefit is only
due to Allah’s Assistance and Guidance, and whatever of error is of me
alone. Allah Alone Knows Best and He is
the Only Source of Strength.
Your brother and
well wisher in Islam,
Burhan
