One of our brothers/sisters has asked this question:

What shall we do incase when one muslim dies and no Isalmic graveyard is available and the persons had no one....

for exampel we don`t have any Islamic grave yard here at all and the Govt. is against such Kabrasten for muslims in this country.. what is the option for us... is it allowed for us to bury one muslim in local community graved yard which are for Christian..if not waht shall we do...

Bury muslim in Christian graveyard

In the name of Allah, We praise Him, seek His help and ask for His forgiveness. Whoever Allah guides none can misguide, and whoever He allows to fall astray, none can guide them aright. We bear witness that there is none worthy of worship but Allah Alone, and we bear witness that Muhammad (saws) is His slave-servant and the seal of His Messengers.

In one perchance happens to live in a place where there is no place dedicated as a muslim graveyard, nor does the government of the land allow the allocation of such a place….there is absolutely no harm if one buries their deceased believing brethren in the community graveyard, or a Christian graveyard, or anywhere else in the earth where it is appropriate.

Whatever written of Truth and benefit is only due to Allah’s Assistance and Guidance, and whatever of error is of me alone. Allah Alone Knows Best and He is the Only Source of Strength.
