Answer:
Gusl after
Menstruation
In the name of Allah, We praise
Him, seek His help and ask for His forgiveness. Whoever Allah guides none
can misguide, and whoever He allows to fall astray, none can guide them aright.
We bear witness that there is no one (no idol,
no person, no grave, no prophet, no imam,
no dai,
nobody!) worthy of worship but Allah Alone, and we bear witness that
Muhammad (saws) is His slave-servant and the seal of His Messengers.
May Allah bless your quest, and
increase yours and our knowledge in Islam.
We just want to point out something to you: please, never ever feel
ashamed or embarrassed to ask anything about Islam if your intention is to
increase your knowledge in this beautiful Deen. The Messenger of Allah (saws) said in an
authentic narration: ‘There should be no
shame in seeking knowledge.’ Thus one
should never apologize or hesitate to ask any scholar about Islam, because in
this Deen or Way of Life called Islam, Allah and His
Messenger (saws) have guided the believers in every part of their lives.
Your Question: After
menstrual when we do ablution do we have to cover our body with clothes while
bathing or not?
If a person is doing ‘ghusl’ or taking a bath in the privacy and confinement of
ones own bathroom; there is absolutely no need to cover one’s body with clothes
or anything else.
Your Question: what
is the way to do (ghusl)?
The Sunnah
and proper way to do ‘ghusl’ or purify oneself after
sexual intercourse or menstruation (of women); is to first make an intention in
heart that one intends to purify himself/herself. Then say, “Bismillah”,
and wash the private parts thoroughly, preferably with soap, etc. Then do the wudu
(ablution) as one would do at the time of prayer. And then, finally, take a
full bath and pour water all over the body, making sure no part remains
dry.
The above was the Way the
Messenger of Allah (saws) himself used to do ‘ghusl’
or take the full bath to purify himself, and that is what he (saws) taught the
believers.
Your Question: first we have to clean our private parts then
we have do wudu it means we have to wear clothes
while doing wudu pl mention to me about this, if we
are wear clothes then how do we clean ourself
There is absolutely no basis for
wearing clothes, if one is taking the bath or doing ‘ghusl’
in the privacy of ones bathroom.
Your Question: in my house our elders they say first we have
to take baath then while doing baath
we have to wear clothes then after doing wudu we have
to pour the water three times right side, and left side again for legs tree
times and finally on head what is this prositure i couldn`t understand. I request you , pl clearly explain to me about this.
We have already explained above
the Sunnah of the Messenger of Allah (saws) in doing ghusl; and no one purified himself or herself better than
the Prophet of Allah (saws).
The custom or ritual of pouring
the water three times on the right, left, and legs, and head… have absolutely
no basis or authority from the teachings of the Messenger of Allah (saws). One may pour water even only once, or may
pour it a hundred times… there is no limit or number specified. The important thing is to do the ‘ghusl’ in the manner taught by the Prophet of Allah (saws)
and pour the water over ones body so that no part of the body remains dry!
