Answer:

Henna and marrying in menses

In the name of Allah, We praise Him, seek His help and ask for His forgiveness. Whoever Allah guides none can misguide, and whoever He allows to fall astray, none can guide them aright. We bear witness that there is no one (no idol, no person, no grave, no prophet, no imam, no dai, nobody!) worthy of worship but Allah Alone, and we bear witness that Muhammad (saws) is His slave-servant and the seal of His Messengers.

Your Question: I want to know about henna appliyng?

I know that it is sunnat for wemen to put henna all the time. but in our family no one applies henna when they have menstruation. IS it true that one whould not apply henna when they have menses?

There is absolutely no restriction in Shariah if a woman wishes to apply Henna in her hair, or on her hands, or feet, etc. during her menses periods or otherwise. She may apply Henna whenever she wishes, except when she is in a state of mourning during her ‘idda’ period of four months and ten days at the death of her husband. Other than that particular period of ‘idda’, there is absolutely no restriction upon the believing woman in applying Henna, if she wishes to do so.

Your Question: And one thing more if it is allowed to get marry when u have menstruation. or do u have to wait until it is over bcus i heard that the shaitan is with the new bride all the time and if she is unpure it will bring the shaitan to the new becoming bride?

If a believing woman marries while she is in the state of menstruation, the marriage will be deemed as absolutely legal and valid in the sight of Shariah. The state of menstruation of the woman at the time her marriage has absolutely no effect on the validity of the marriage in Islam.

The belief or understanding that the Shaytaan is only with the impure, or with the menstruating woman or bride is an absolutely false belief! The Shaytaan is entwined in the lives of the human being at all times, whether one is pure or impure, or whether one is a Prophet or a normal believer! The Shaytaan is so entwined with human beings, that the Messenger of Allah (saws) said that he circulates in the human body like blood circulates in it!

Sahih Al-Bukhari Hadith 3.254 Narrated by Ali bin Al Husain (from Safiya, the Prophets wife)

The wives of the Prophet were with him in the mosque (while he was in Itikaf) and then they departed and the Prophet (saws) said to Safiya bint Huyai, "Don't hurry up, for I shall accompany you". The Prophet (saws) went out and in the meantime two Ansari men met him and they looked at the Prophet (saws) and passed by. The Prophet (saws) said to them, "Come here. She is (my wife) Safiya bint Huyai." They replied, "Subhan Allah, (How dare we think of evil) O Allah's Messenger (saws)! (We never expect anything bad from you)." The Prophet (saws) replied, "The Shaytaan circulates in the human being as blood circulates in the body, and I was afraid lest the Shaytaan might insert an evil thought in your minds."

Sahih Muslim Hadith 6759 Narrated by Aisha

Aisha said: One day Allah's Messenger (saws) went out of her (Aisha's apartment) during the night and she felt jealous. Then he (saws) came and he (saws) saw me (in what agitated state of mind) I was. He (saws) said: ‘O Aisha, what has happened to you? Do you feel jealous?’ Thereupon she said: ‘How can it be (that a woman like me) should not feel jealous in regard to a husband like you?’ Thereupon Allah's Messenger (saws) said: ‘It was your Shaytaan who had come to you’, and she said: ‘O Allah's Messenger (saws), is there along with me a Shaytaan?’ He (saws) said: ‘Yes’. I said: ‘Is the Shaytaan attached to everyone?’ He (saws) said: ‘Yes’. I (Aisha) again said: ‘O Allah's Messenger (saws), is it with you also?’ He (saws) said: ‘Yes! But my Lord has helped me against him, as such that I am absolutely safe from his mischief.’

Whatever written of Truth and benefit is only due to Allah’s Assistance and Guidance, and whatever of error is of me. Allah Alone Knows Best and He is the Only Source of Strength.

Your Brother in Islam,

Burhan
