Answer:

Reward of visiting Imam Husain grave

In the name of Allah, We praise Him, seek His help and ask for His forgiveness. Whoever Allah guides none can misguide, and whoever He allows to fall astray, none can guide them aright. We bear witness that there is no one (no idol, no person, no grave, no prophet, no imam, no dai, nobody!) worthy of worship but Allah Alone, and we bear witness that Muhammad(saws) is His slave-servant and the seal of His Messengers.

Sa'id bin Al-Musayyib reported from Abu Hurairah that the Prophet (saws) said, "You should not undertake a special journey to visit any place (of worship) other than the three Mosques: the Sacred Mosque of Makkah, this mosque of mine (in Medina), and Al-Aqsa Mosque (of Jerusalem)."

Umm Habibah and Umm Salamah mentioned to Allah's Messenger (saws) a church in which they saw drawings while in Abyssinia, whereupon he (saws) said: 'Those people used to build a place of worship over the grave of a righteous man among them when he died, and make such drawings in it. These will be the worst of people in the sight of Allah on the Day of Resurrection.''

Related by Bukhari and Muslim.

Jabir reported: "The Prophet(saws) forbade the whitewashing of a grave, sitting on it, or erecting any structure on it."

Your Question: what is the ziyarts fazilat of imam e husaain a.s ?

Beloved and dear Brother in Islam, the Messenger of Allah (saws) specifically declared it forbidden for the believers who believe in Allah and the Last Day to undertake a journey to any place of worship other than the three mosques:

Masjid Haraam in Makkah

The Prophet’s Mosque in Medina

The Masjid al-Aqsa in Jerusalem.

Other than the above three places of worship, it is absolutely prohibited in Islam for the believers to undertake a journey to visit any other particular place of worship.

Some people have made the grave of the righteous slave of Allah and the noble grandson of the Prophet (saws), Hadrat Imam Hussain ibn Ali (r.a.) as a mausoleum and a place of worship! Rather than seeking rewards in traveling to such places of worship, one should fear the Wrath and Anger of Allah Subhanah in light of the specific warnings of the Messenger of Allah (saws).

The Messenger of Allah (saws) said: “Before you there was a group who turned the graves of their prophets and their righteous ones into mosques. Do not turn graves into mosques. I forbid you to do that'.''

Related by Muslim.

Abu Hurairah narrated that The Prophet (saws) said: 'May Allah curse Jews and Christians for they turned the graves of their Prophets into places of worship'.''

We have heard some misguided people claim that visiting the grave of Hadrat Hussain ibn Ali (r.a.) in Karbala would earn someone a reward of 100 Hajj and a 100 Umrah! Allah Subhanah is our witness, there is absolutely nothing of any magnitude mentioned regarding the journey to Imam Hussain’s (r.a.) mosque in Karbala in either the Quran or the Sunnah of the Messenger of Allah (saws). These supposed rewards of 100 Hajj and 100 Umrahs upon visiting the Imam Hussain’s (r.a.) mosque in Karbala are absolutely baseless and false claims made by some misguided people; and Allah Subhanah is Sufficient to extract revenge from such people.

Allah Subhanah is our witness, there is no better place of worship on this planet earth than the Sacred Mosque in Makkah!

If one trusts, obeys, and follows the guidance and commands of Allah and His Messenger (saws), he can be assured of never ever being misled; but if one believes, obeys and follows any other guidance, other than that of Allah and His Messenger (saws), he can be assured of being led astray.

Whatever written of Truth and benefit is only due to Allah’s Assistance and Guidance, and whatever of error is of me. Allah Alone Knows Best and He is the Only Source of Strength.

Your Brother in Islam,

Burhan
