Make softer approach in our answers
Mu' meneen Brothers and Sisters,
As Salaam Aleikum wa Rahmatullahi wa Barakatuh. (May Allah's Peace, Mercy and Blessings be upon all of you)
One of our
brothers/sisters has asked this question:
Brother Burhan,
This is a humble
suggestion to you from a concerned brother. You and your team are doing a good
job of propagating the true deen of Islam. But you
may lose it's impact on the Bohra
community if it appears (you may not be, but even if it appears) that you are
getting angry and personal in your attacks.
Keep it at a
higher level - You are best when you directly quote from the Quran and explain it rather midly
- the Glorious Quran is so open that Inshallah it will seep into people's mind. Even if someone
attacks you, don't attack back, try to take the "high road".
Allah willing,
that will be more effective.
With sincere wishes.

In the name of Allah, We praise
Him, seek His help and ask for His forgiveness. Whoever Allah guides none
can misguide, and whoever He allows to fall astray, none can guide them aright.
We bear witness that there is no one (no idol,
no person, no grave, no
prophet, no imam, no dai, nobody!) worthy of worship but Allah Alone,
and we bear witness that Muhammad (saws) is His slave-servant and the seal of
His Messengers.
My beloved and esteemed brother
in Islam, we cannot thank you enough for your constructive criticism. We absolutely agree with you in your
assessment, and we beg Allah Subhanah to forgive us
our shortcomings. Indeed, what you have
said is the absolute truth, and Insha Allah, we shall endeavor to deliver the Message of Allah Subhanah in the most polite and humble manner; as is the
command of our Merciful Lord.
Allah says in the Holy
Quran: Chapter 16, Surah
An-Nahl Ayat 125:Invite to the way of your Lord with wisdom and excellent
admonition and argue with people in the best manner. Your Lord knows best who
has gone astray from His Way and who is Rightly
guided.
Allah is our witness, we meant
nothing but good, and our one and only intention is to seek the Pleasure of
Allah Subhanah with our humble efforts to invite our
brethren to the Truth of Islam. We are
only but human beings, and thus prone to error and shortcomings. May Allah Subhanah
reward you with the best for bringing this shortcoming to our attention, and we
sincerely apologize to you and our brethren, if any of our articles have
transgressed the boundaries of wisdom and good manners. May Allah Subhanah
forgive us our errors and short-comings, have mercy on us, bestow upon us
patience and wisdom, and save us all from the torment of the Hell Fire.
We humbly beg Allah Subhanah that He bestow upon us
control over our human emotions, and grant us patience and wisdom to invite
mankind to the Truth of Allah Subhanah. We seek refuge in Allah Subhanah
from the incitement of the Shaitaan, who is ever an
enemy of mankind.
Allah says in the Holy
Quran Chapter 7 Surah Aaraaf verses 199-202:Adopt the
Way of leniency and forbearance! Enjoin
what is good and avoid useless discussions with the ignorant people. If ever Shaitaan
incites you to anger, seek refuge in Allah; He is indeed the All Hearing, All
Knowing. The fact is that if ever an
evil suggestion from Shaitaan so much as touches
those, who are God-fearing people, they immediately get alerted and clearly see
the right course they should adopt. As regards their (Shaitaan’s)
brethren, they drag them on and on in their crooked ways, and leave nothing
undone to seduce them!
Once again brother, we sincerely
apologize for our short-comings, and earnestly thank you, and humbly supplicate Allah Subhanah to reward you with the best, for bringing this to our attention. We shall, Insha
Allah, try our level best to control our emotions and invite our brethren to
the Truth of Islam in the best and most polite manner.
Jazak Allah Kheir and May Allah reward you generously for writing to
us, and helping us to deliver this Message of Truth in the best manner.
Whatever written of Truth and
benefit is only due to Allah’s Assistance and Guidance, and whatever of error
is of me. Allah Alone Knows Best and He
is the Only Source of Strength.
Your Brother in Islam,
Burhan
