Just the other day, I had printed your post regarding the prayer to take home to show my wife and it just happened that a couple of Christian missionaries showed up that day at my house. With the recent knowledge that I gained from reading/understanding the Quran for the first time in my lfe and from the information I gained from your forum I was able to talk more than listen to their ramblings. At the end I gave the meaning of the prayer printout to them.

In the name of Allah, We praise Him, seek His help and ask for His forgiveness. Whoever Allah guides none can misguide, and whoever He allows to fall astray, none can guide them aright. We bear witness that there is no one (no idol, no person, no grave, no prophet, no imam, no dai, nobody!) worthy of worship but Allah Alone, and we bear witness that Muhammad(saws) is His slave-servant and the seal of His Messengers.

All Praise is due to Allah Subhanah Alone, the Creator of the Heavens and the Earth and everything in between. All Praise is due to Allah Alone, Who has guided us to the Straight Path. Brother, Jazak Allah Kheir, and may Allah reward you with the best for your kind comments. It is nothing but the Sublime Mercy and Grace of Allah, that our humble and weak efforts in the Cause of Allah’s Deen have been beneficial to you.

We have read the incident that occurred at your house regarding the Christian missionaries. Brother, there is a book written by one of the best scholars in Islam regarding comparative religion… especially Islam and Christianity. The book is called ‘The Choice’ and the authors name is Brother Sheikh Ahmed Deedaat. May Allah bless the brother and have mercy on him for the works he did in the deen.

This book lists all the points that are contradictory in the Bible, so the next time some Christian missionary shows up at your door, it would be best to sit with him and discuss and ask him to prove the authenticity of his own book… and at all times, giving evidence from the Bible itself. If Allah Wills, the book should be extremely beneficial to you in dealing with the missionaries. Maybe, you could invite them to become muslims and come to the worship of the One Lord Alone!
