Is it allowable for husband to stay out wife for more than 2 yrs in case of earning money in abroad?.

Kindly guide according to the right path of islam.

Answer:

How long can stay from wife

In the name of Allah, We praise Him, seek His help and ask for His forgiveness. Whoever Allah guides none can misguide, and whoever He allows to fall astray, none can guide them aright. We bear witness that there is none worthy of worship but Allah Alone, and we bear witness that Muhammad (saws) is His slave-servant and the seal of His Messengers.

There is absolutely no harm in Shariah if the husband and the wife both agree and accept that they would have to live separate for a substantial period of time; such separation for a genuine reason and cause (like a husband studying or working abroad, etc.) is absolutely permissible in Shariah and does not by itself affect the validity of one’s state of ‘nikaah’ with one’s spouse in the least.
