In the name of Allah, We praise Him, seek His
help and ask for His forgiveness. Whoever Allah guides none can misguide,
and whoever He allows to fall astray, none can guide them aright. We bear
witness that there is none worthy of worship but Allah Alone, and we bear
witness that Muhammad (saws) is His slave-servant and the seal of His
Messengers.

Allah says in the Holy Quran Chapter 2 Surah
Baqarah verse 185:
This Book (The Al-Quraan) is a Perfect
Guidance for all mankind and consists of clear Teachings which show the
Respected sister in humanity, we absolutely assure you
that the guidance of the Glorious Quran is not a monopoly of the ‘muslims’….but
the Lord Creator Himself Declares in Truth that His Guidance is for all of
mankind……
We do indeed appreciate your honesty regarding your
admission that you are not (yet) a believer; and we hope and pray that the Lord
Creator opens your heart to accept His Guidance of Truth.
Allah Says in the Holy Quran Chapter 6 Surah
Anaam verse 125:
The hearts of those
whom Allah Wills to guide, He opens to Islam.

Dear and beloved sister, just as you have been so honest
with us…..it is only befitting that we too be extremely honest with you. Allah is our witness sister, we are neither
wise, nor intelligent, nor knowledgeable as you might envision us to be ……if
you have found any good or merit in the articles or answers we have written,
the whole and complete credit should be given to whom it is truly and solely
due….and that is to the Perfect and Absolute Wisdom and Knowledge of the Lord
Who Created.
Beloved Sister, unless and until we are specifically asked
to do so, we rarely or seldom give our own opinion on a matter being
asked…..all we ever do when any question is posed on this forum is relate what
is related in the Divine Source of Guidance; ie. The Al-Quran!
Thus if any of our answers have found acceptance with you,
it is only because your own nature is true enough to recognize the Truth and
the Good from the Lord Who Created.
Your

Allah Says in the Holy Quran Chapter 3 Surah Ale
Imran verse 145:
145 Nor can a soul die except by Allah's
leave; the term being fixed as by Decree.
Allah Says in the Holy Quran Chapter 63 Surah
Munafeqoon verse 11:
11 But to no soul will Allah grant respite when the time appointed (for
its death) has come: and Allah is well-acquainted with (all) that ye do.
Allah Says in the Holy Quran Chapter 7 Surah
Aaraf verse 34:
34 To every people is a term appointed: when their term is reached not
an hour (moment) can they cause delay, nor (a moment) can they advance it!
Allah Says in the Holy Quran Chatper 6 Surah
Anaam verse 61:
61 He (Allah Subhanah) is The Irresistible (Watching) from above over
his worshippers and He sets guardians (Angels) over you. At length when death approaches one of you, Our
Angels take his soul (at the exact appointed time and place), and they never
fail in their duty!
Allah Says in the Holy Quran Chapter 4 Surah
Nisaa verse 78:
78 "Whersoever ye are, death will find you out (at its exact
Decreed time); even if ye are in towers built up strong
and high!"
Allah Says in the Holy Quran Chapter 32 Surah
As-Sajdah verse 11:
11 Say: "The Angel of Death put in charge of you will
(duely) take your souls (at the Decreed time and place): then shall ye
be brought back to your Lord."
Sahih Al-Bukhari Hadith 4.430 Narrated by Abdullah bin Musud
Allah's Messenger (saws)said, "(The
matter of the Creation of) a human being is put together in the womb of the
mother in forty days, and then he becomes a clot of thick blood for a similar
period, and then a piece of flesh for a similar period. Then Allah sends an
Angel who is ordered to record four things. He is ordered to write down his
(i.e. the new creature's) deeds, his livelihood, his (exact time, place
and date of) death, and whether he will be blessed or wretched (in
religion). Then the soul is breathed into him.”
The amount of time each and every individual will live to
give his test on this earth is Decreed by none other than the Lord Creator
Himself; even before the soul is entered into the bodies of the unborn when it
is still in its mothers womb!!!
As much as it may seem that a person who is severely ill
may not have much time, is there any who is extremely healthy, and engrossed
day and night in planning how he will live his life for the next 50 years…….
who can lay claim with confidence that he will still be alive for another hour,
leave alone outlive the one who is ‘expected’ to die!!
The ultimate truth and the very nature of the element of
death is that it is an ‘ambush’….and it will appear at the exact time when the
Lord Creator has Decreed for it to appear!
Thus sister, if the only thing stopping you from
solemnizing your relationship with your ‘friend’ into the sacred bond of
marriage is ‘time’…..then know with absolute conviction that the ‘time’ of
death of each individual is known to none save the Lord Creator. It may very well happen that the one whom we
‘expect’ to die may far outlive us; and the ones we ‘expect’ to live a long
life are recalled unto their Lord in a split-second!
Beloved Sister, you may do as your heart and your wisdom
guides you to do….but let not the factor of ‘time’ be the determining factor in
your decision whether to enjoin or break relations with someone whom you so care
about.
Whatever written of Truth and benefit is only
due to Allah’s Assistance and Guidance, and whatever of error is of me
alone. Allah Alone Knows Best and He is
the Only Source of Strength.
Your brother and
well wisher in Islam,
Burhan
