Wife feels lonely as Husband is away

assalamualikum, i am a mother of two children, and my husband stays abroad. he come frequently to meet us, i stay with my two children in the house, my husband came for bakri eid n stayed few days wit us n went away, as he is doing job, i dont know since one day before my husband left, i started feeling too low n miserable, same thing my children also says, i dont know y, sometime i feeling like crying, i recite astagfirrullah n aytalkursi also. but still feeling same, plz help me as how can i overcome through this low feeling.

In the name of Allah, We praise Him, seek His help and ask for His forgiveness. Whoever Allah guides none can misguide, and whoever He allows to fall astray, none can guide them aright. We bear witness that there is none worthy of worship but Allah Alone, and we bear witness that Muhammad (saws) is His slave-servant and the seal of His Messengers.

Sister thousands of woman live in India whilst their husbands work abroad for the betterment of their families. We can understand your feelings of lonliness and depression, but remember your husband is also sacrificing and missing you all as much. In the foreign country life is not always easy and he must be undergoing much anguish.

You as the wife have a huge responsibility to bring up the children without the physical support of your husband. You have to be strong in your belief and faith in Allah swt., in that things will improve in the future and maybe your husband will earn enough to call you all abroad to live with him. If that does not happen then both of you would have made a great sacrifice so that the children can get better education and the family in general can live in better conditions.

You can get solace and comfort in regular supplications to your Majestic Lord to make your trials easy.
