Brother is it true. I`m very much concern about this because Allah will not accept the prayers and recitation of the person whose everything is Haram.
Mu' meneen Brothers and Sisters,
As Salaam Aleikum wa Rahmatullahi wa
Barakatuh. (May Allah's Peace, Mercy and Blessings be upon all of you)
One of our brothers/sisters has asked
this question:
In the
name of ALLAH the most Beneficial and merciful.
Assalamualikum
I
woikd like to ask you regarding credit cards. My husband took credit which was
interest free for one year, but now after one year he is unable to repay the
amount for which the bank is charging interest. But the money he is earning is
absolutely Halal Insha-Allah that is he is earning money by day and night of
hardship. He even got lot of responsibilities back home in
Please
brother help me by answering this question I`m very much worried. Is Allah
forgive us if we seek his forgiveness after we will repay all the amount.

Answer:
Riba interest acceptance worship
In the name of Allah, We praise Him, seek His help and ask
for His forgiveness. Whoever Allah guides none can misguide, and whoever
He allows to fall astray, none can guide them aright. We bear witness that
there is none worthy of worship but Allah Alone, and we bear witness that
Muhammad (saws) is His slave-servant and the seal of His Messengers.
Allah says in the Holy Quran Chapter 2 Surah
Baqarah verse 274-276:
But
those who devour ‘riba’ become like the one whom Shaitaan has bewitched and
maddened by his touch. They have been
condemned to this condition because they say,
“Trade is just like ‘riba”, whereas
Allah has made trade halaal and ‘riba’ haraam. Henceforth,
if one abstains from taking ‘riba’ after receiving this admonition from
his Lord, no legal action shall be taken
against him regarding the ‘riba’ he had devoured before: his case shall ultimately go to Allah. But if one repeats the same crime even after
this, he shall go to Hell, where he
shall abide for ever! Allah deprives ‘riba’
of all blessing and develops charity,
and Allah does not like an ungrateful,
sinful person.
Allah says further in the Holy Quran Chapter 2
Surah Baqarah verse 278:
O Believers!,
fear Allah and give up that ‘riba’ which is still due to you, if you are true believers. But if you do not do so, then you are warned of the declaration of war against you
by Allah and His Messenger!
Allah says in the Holy Quran Chapter 4 Surah
Nisa verse 161:
That they took ‘riba’, although they were forbidden. And that they devoured men’s substance
wrongfully. We have prepared for those
among them who reject faith a grievous punishment (of Hell Fire)!
Al-Tirmidhi Hadith 2827 Narrated by Abdullah ibn Mas'ud
Allah's Messenger (saws) said, "Even
though usury be much, it leads in the end to penury."
Al-Tirmidhi Hadith 2829 Narrated by Ali ibn AbuTalib
Ali said he heard Allah's Messenger (saws)
invoke the curse of Allah on those who took usury, those who paid it, those who
recorded it, and those who refused to give sadaqah.
Sunan of Abu-Dawood Hadith 3325 Narrated by Abu Hurayrah
The Prophet (saws) prophesied: “A time is
certainly coming to mankind, when only the receiver of usury will remain, and
if one does not receive it, some of its vapour will reach him.”
Dear and beloved Sister in Islam, in light of the above
absolutely clear guidance of the Quran and the Sunnah, it is evident the
taking, giving, or indulging in the evil of ‘riba’ is absolutely hated, despised,
and declared unconditionally forbidden and unlawful by Allah and His Messenger
(saws).
If in ignorance one has taken out an interest-bearing loan
directly through a conventional bank or through a credit-card and thus indulged
themselves in the evil of ‘riba’, one should immediately turn back to their Lord
and seek sincere repentance for their transgression; and make a solemn covenant
with their Lord that they would never ever indulge in that evil again in the
future…..if one is indeed sincere in their repentance, it is expected that they
will find their Lord Forgiving and Merciful.
Allah says in the Holy
Quran Chapter 39 Surah Zumur verses 53-54:
(O Prophet) say: “O My
servants who have wronged their own souls….Do not despair of Allah’s
Mercy! Surely, Allah forgives all sins. He indeed is the All Forgiving, All Merciful. Return to your Lord and submit to Him before
the scourge overtakes you; for then you
may get no help from anywhere.”
Allah says in the Holy
Quran Chapter 3 Surah Ale Imraan verse 135-136:
Allah likes such good
people very much, who, if ever they
commit a base deed or wrong their own soul by the commission of a sin, remember Allah instantly, and ask for forgiveness from Him for their
shortcomings. For who, but Allah,
can forgive sins? (And Allah
loves those) who do not knowingly persist in the wrongs they did. These will be rewarded with forgiveness from
Allah, and with Gardens beneath which
canals flow, and they will reside
therein forever! How excellent is the
reward of those who do good deeds!
Allah says in the Holy
Quran Chapter 6 Surah Anaam verse 54:
When those come to you
who believe in Our Signs, say:
"Peace be on you! Your Lord had
inscribed for Himself (the rule of) Mercy.
Verily if any of you did evil in ignorance, and thereafter repented and amended (his
conduct), Lo! He is Oft-Forgiving, Most Merciful."
Your Question: But
one of my relative told that dont do any dealing with my husband as he is
involved in haram. Brother is it true.
Dear and beloved Sister in Islam, unless and until one
verbally and intentionally declares himself to be an apostate and leaves the
fold of Islam, the indulgence of one into something which has been declared
‘haraam’ by Shariah does not by itself invalidate one’s marriage or one’s
relationships!
The statement or judgment of one of your relatives to
demand that you stop all dealings with your husband because he has indulged in
the evil of ‘riba’ is absolutely baseless and incorrect.
Your Question: In
short my question is whether all the income or all the things which we are
eating, drinking and wearing becomes haram with the amount of interest he is
paying on credit card which he used during the previous days. Are our prayers
not accepted by ALLAH.
Allah Says in the Holy Quran Chatper 4 Surah
Nisaa verse 34:
34 Men are the protectors and maintainers of women because Allah has
given the one more than the other, and because they (the men) support
them (their women) from their means.
Therefore the righteous women are devoutly obedient and guard in (the
husband's) absence what Allah would have them guard (their chastity, their and
their husband’s honor, property, etc.)
Islam has laid the complete financial responsibility upon
the shoulders of the men, and it is the responsibility of the men in Islam to
provide for their family from lawful means.
If perchance one were to provide for their family from unlawful means,
the burden of the sin would be borne by the man who indulges in the
unlawful…..not upon the family who is being provided.
If the man who in his ignorance has indulged in the
unlawful in his efforts to provide for his family, and has subsequently
repented for his transgression and amended his conduct…..it is expected that he
will find his Lord Forgiving and Merciful.
Al-Tirmidhi Hadith 2357 Narrated by Abdullah ibn Mas'ud
Allah's Messenger (saws) said, "He who
repents of a sin is like him who has committed no sin."
But if one neither fears Allah nor the Last Day and
knowingly and daringly indulges in the unlawful, nor does he seem inclined
towards repentance for his transgressions….then it is he who will bear the
burden of his sin in the Presence of his Lord Most Majestic Most Supreme on
that Inevitable and Tumultuous Day of Judgment.
It is the prayers and supplications of such people which would find no
acceptance with Allah Subhanah.
Abu Hurairah reported that the Prophet (saws)
said, "O people, Allah is Good and He, therefore, accepts only that which
is good.’ The Prophet (saws) then made mention of a person who travels widely,
his hair dis-shevelled, and covered with dust. "He lifts his hands and
makes supplication, 'O Lord, O Lord……' but his diet is unlawful, his drink is
unlawful, and his clothes are unlawful, and his nourishment is unlawful. How
then can his supplication be accepted?"

Quran Chapter 3 Surah Ale Imraan verse 135-136:

If one is unfortunate enough to find oneself under the burden
of an interest-based debt, one need not seek forgiveness ‘after’ they have paid
the debt…..but rather one should immediately turn back to their Lord and seek
sincere repentance for their transgression, and make a solemn covenant with
their Lord that they will never ever again indulge in the unlawful again…..and
thus amend their conduct by paying off the debt as soon as they possibly
can. It is expected that they will find
their Lord Forgiving and Merciful.
Dear and beloved Sister in Islam, one should never never
ever despair of the Mercy of their Lord Most Merciful…..for the Lord Most
Gracious has left open the doors of repentance for each and every individual
who wishes to turn back to Him in sincere repentance; and this door of
repentance is closed only at one’s death.
There is absolutely no sin a creature can do which the Lord Most
Merciful does not forgive, provided the person is a believer, is sincerely
repentant, and seeks the Lord’s pardon before his appointment with death!
Allah says in the Holy
Quran Chapter 39 Surah Zumur verses 53-54:
(O Prophet) say: “O

Allah's Messenger (saws) said, "He who
repents of a sin is like him who has committed no sin."
Allah says in the Holy
Quran Chapter 25 Surah Furqaan verses 63-71:
The (true) servants of
the Merciful are those who walk humbly on the earth. When the ignorant people behave insolently
towards them, they say, “Peace to you”; (And those) who pass their nights in
prostrating themselves and standing before their Lord and pray, “O our
Lord, save us from the torment of
Hell, for its torment is killing! It is an evil abode, and an evil resting place”. (And those) who, when they spend are neither extravagant, nor miserly,
but keep the golden mean between the two extremes. (And those) who do not invoke any god but
Allah Alone, nor kill a soul
unjustly, which Allah has
forbidden, nor commit adultery… He who
does this shall be punished for his sin,
and his torment shall be doubled on the Day of Resurrection, and he shall abide in a state of
ignominy; EXCEPT THE ONE WHO MAY HAVE
REPENTED (AFTER THOSE SINS), AND HAVE
BELIEVED AND DONE RIGHTEOUS DEEDS. For
then, Allah will change his evil deeds
into good deeds, and He is very
Forgiving and Merciful. In
fact, one who repents and does righteous
deeds, returns to Allah as one rightly
should!
Such is the vastness of the Mercy and Grace of the Lord
Most Merciful upon his believing and repentant slaves, that not only does He
forgive the sins of the slave who turns back to Him in sincere repentance….but
in His Infinite and Limitless Mercy, the Lord Most Gracious changes the evil
deeds of the person into good deeds in that person’s ‘book of records’! Blessed are those who have believed in Allah
Subhanah as their Lord, and blessed are those who are constant in seeking His
forgiveness.
Al-Tirmidhi Hadith 2332 Narrated by Anas ibn Malik and Abu Dharr
Allah's Messenger (saws) stated that Allah
said, "Son of Adam, as long as you supplicate me and hope in me I will
pardon you in spite of what you have done, and I would not care. Son of Adam,
if your sins were so numerous as to reach the lofty regions of the sky, then
you asked my forgiveness, I would forgive you, and I would not care. Son of
Adam, if you were to meet me with enough sins to fill the earth, then met me,
not associating anything with me, I should bring you as much pardon as would
fill the earth."
Whatever written of Truth and benefit is only due to Allah’s
Assistance and Guidance, and whatever of error is of me alone. Allah Alone Knows Best and He is the Only
Source of Strength.
