I am working for a bank in the computer department
Mu' meneen Brothers and Sisters,
As Salaam Aleikum wa Rahmatullahi wa
Barakatuh. (May Allah's Peace, Mercy and Blessings be upon all of you)
One of our brothers/sisters has asked
this question:
as
salaam wale kum,
I have
to ask something i am working for a bank in the computer department somehow
although i earn a handsome salary there is no barkat in that,i feel the reason
for that could be banks salary, so me and my wife decided to shift back to
india and start my own business but for that my wife opted to do ISTIKHARA she
regulary after her ishaa namaz used pray the ISTIKHARAs duaa and pray to allah
for our betterment, allah subannah kept on helping us but my worry is that no
problems in the night but after my wife goes back to sleep in the morning after
i leave for the office she started dreaming diff things like one day she saw a
cat has scratched her hand and she is bleeding, the other day she saw a big
stone falling on our entire family (including my mother, brother and daughter)
but the stone fell little ahead of our family, and the another day she saw she
is drowning in the water.....
what
does all this mean I am still in dubai and planning to send my family in next
15 days and after month or so i will be also going back as I feel bank salary
is not halal and also in dubai most of us have credit cards and we do spend and
pay credit card interest to the bank ,
,,so all
this is disturbing me not knowing what is right and wrong should i go back to
india where i will be earning much lesser than what i earn in dubai but at
least that will be 100% halal or should i cont in dubai and ask for the
forgiveness from allah, if allah wants me to go back than what does those
dreams mean that my wife saw in the morning time can u pls help?

Answer:
Leave bank and start business
In the name of Allah, We praise Him, seek His help and ask
for His forgiveness. Whoever Allah guides none can misguide, and whoever
He allows to fall astray, none can guide them aright. We bear witness that
there is no one (no idol, no person, no
grave, no prophet, no imam, no dai,
nobody!) worthy of worship but Allah Alone, and we bear witness that
Muhammad (saws) is His slave-servant and the seal of His Messengers.
Al-Muwatta Hadith 52.4
Yahya related to me from Malik from Yahya ibn
Said that Abu Salama ibn Abd ar-Rahman said, "I heard Abu Qatada ibn
Ribiyy say that he heard the Messenger of Allah (saws) say, 'The good dream is
from Allah, and the bad dream is from the shaytaan. When you see what you
dislike, spit to your left side three times when you wake up, and seek refuge
with Allah from its evil. It will not harm you then, Allah willing.'
Allah Subhanah has bestowed man with intelligence and the
power of assessing and reasoning, and Allah has permitted man to use these
bestowed faculties to make the important decisions in his life. One should not decide such important
decision as moving place of residence and scope of work based on a dream; but
rather intelligence dictates that one should carefully assess the situation,
study the conditions, evaluate the options available, and then come to a proper
decision; and always put his full trust in Allah Subhanah Alone.
Beloved Brother in Islam, if you leave something which has
clearly been declared forbidden by Allah and His Messenger (saws) only for the sake
and fear of Allah, Allah is our witness, He will bless you in whatever step you
take towards Him.
Allah Says in the Holy Quran Chapter 3 Surah Ale
Imraan verse 195:
195 …Never will I (Allah) suffer to be lost
the work of any of you be he male or female.
Ye are members one of another; those who have left their homes, or been
driven out therefrom, or suffered harm in My Cause, or fought or been slain;
Verily, I will blot out from them their iniquities and admit them into Gardens
with rivers flowing beneath; a reward from the Presence of Allah, and from His
Presence is the best of rewards.
Whatever written of Truth and benefit is only due to
Allah’s Assistance and Guidance, and whatever of error is of me alone. Allah Alone Knows Best and He is the Only
Source of Strength.
Your brother and well wisher in
Islam,
Burhan
