Answer:

What to do with aqiqa meat

In the name of Allah, We praise Him, seek His help and ask for His forgiveness. Whoever Allah guides none can misguide, and whoever He allows to fall astray, none can guide them aright. We bear witness that there is none worthy of worship but Allah Alone, and we bear witness that Muhammad (saws) is His slave-servant and the seal of His Messengers.

There is absolutely no restriction in Shariah regarding who can and who cannot consume of the ‘aqiqa’ sacrifice; thus there is absolutely no harm if one wishes to consume all or a part of the sacrifice meat themselves or give it away to whomsoever they wish and please.

If one wishes to give a part or all of the sacrifice meat to the believers who attend the masjid at the time of ‘iftaar’ in Ramadan, there is absolutely no harm. If Allah Wills and Pleases, one would get a double reward for such a deed. One for offering the sacrifice and another for offering food to the believers to break their fast.

Whatever written of Truth and benefit is only due to Allah’s Assistance and Guidance, and whatever of error is of me alone. Allah Alone Knows Best and He is the Only Source of Strength.

Your brother and well wisher in Islam,

Burhan
