Answer:

Language of Jesus Isa

In the name of Allah, We praise Him, seek His help and ask for His forgiveness. Whoever Allah guides none can misguide, and whoever He allows to fall astray, none can guide them aright. We bear witness that there is none worthy of worship but Allah Alone, and we bear witness that Muhammad (saws) is His slave-servant and the seal of His Messengers.

History records that the Noble Messenger of Allah, Isa ibn Maryam (a.s.), was born in Bethlehem and grew up in Nazareth, both of which are located in present day Israel.

The absolute majority of the scholars of history are of the opinion that the primary language spoken by Prophet Isa (a.s.) and his people was Aramaic, the language in which the ‘Injeel’ or the ‘Gospel’ was subsequently revealed by Allah Subhanah unto Prophet Isa (a.s.). It is also recorded and safe to assume that Prophet Isa (a.s.) was knowledgeable enough in the Hebrew language to discuss the Taurah, which was the prevalent Scripture of the times; and it is believed that the Noble Prophet Isa (a.s.) may have had a working knowledge of the Koine Greek language through his commerce as a carpenter, because Greek was the common/official language of the eastern part of the Roman Empire at that time. And Allah Alone Knows Best.

Whatever written of Truth and benefit is only due to Allah’s Assistance and Guidance, and whatever of error is of me alone. Allah Alone Knows Best and He is the Only Source of Strength.

Your brother and well wisher in Islam,

Burhan
