Azar was not the real father of Prophet Ibraheem, read the tafsir of ibn kathir .He was his uncle.

Alaso Allah says in sura balad, verse three, I swear by your parents. When rassullah Allah says that his father is also in the fire, he was also referring to his father who nourished him abu jahal. Please brother get proper knowledge before spreading Wahabism

Azar was ibraheem uncle father

Respected brother, I have gone through the ‘tafseer’ of Ibn Kathir and we assure you that there is nothing in the ‘tafseer’ which even remotely implies that Azar was the uncle of Prophet Ibraheem (a.s.)!!!

If one has knowledge of even basic Arabic language, one would unequivocally and unconditionally confirm that the term used for father in the Arabic language is ‘Abb’; and the term used for uncle is ‘Amm’!

Allah Says in the Holy Quran Chapter 6 Anaam verse 74:

74 Lo! Ibraheem said to his ‘Abi’ (father) Azar: "Takest thou idols for gods? For I see thee and thy people in manifest error!"

Allah Says in the Holy Quran Chapter 37 Surah Saafaat verses 83-85:

83 Verily among those who followed his Way was Ibraheem.

84 Behold! He approached his Lord with a sound heart.

85 Behold! He (Ibraheem (a.s.)) said to his ‘Abi’ (father) and to his people "What is that which ye worship?

Allah Says in the Holy Quran Chapter 21 Surah Anbiyaa verses 51-52:

51 We bestowed aforetime on Ibraheem his rectitude of conduct and well were We acquainted with him.

52 Behold! He (Ibraheem (a.s.)) said to his ‘Abi’ (father) and his people "What are these images to which ye are (so assiduously) devoted?"

Allah Says in the Holy Quran Chapter 43 Surah Zukhruf verses 26-27:

26 Behold! Ibraheem said to his ‘Abi’ (father) and his people: "I do indeed clear myself of what ye worship:

27 (I worship) only Him Who made me and He will certainly guide me."

Allah Says in the Holy Quran Chapter 19 Surah Maryam verses 41-46:

41 Also mention in the Book (the story of) Ibraheem: he was a man of Truth, a Prophet.

42 Behold! He (Ibraheem (a.s.)) said to his ‘Abi’ (father): "’Yaa Abati’ (O my father)! Why worship that which hears not and sees not, and can profit thee nothing?

43 ‘Yaa Abati’ (O my father)! To me hath come knowledge which hath not reached thee: so follow me: I will guide thee to a Way that is even and straight.

44 ‘Yaa Abati’ (O my father)! Serve not the Shaytaan: for the Shaytaan is a rebel against (Allah) Most Gracious.

45 ‘Yaa Abati’ (O my father)! I fear lest a Penalty afflict thee from (Allah) Most Gracious so that thou become to the Shaytaan, a friend."

46 (The father) replied: "Dost thou hate my gods O Ibraheem? If thou forbear not I will indeed stone thee: now get away from me for a good long while!"

The All-Knowing, All-Wise Lord Declares in Truth in His Glorious Quran that Azar was the ‘Abi’ or father of the Noble Prophet Ibraheem (a.s.)…..Why would one who has professed belief in Allah and His Quran strive to blaspheme and claim that ‘Azar’ was the ‘Amm’ (Uncle) and not the ‘Abb’ of Prophet Ibraheem (a.s.) is beyond our understanding!

If after being presented with such overwhelming evidence from the Very Book of Allah itself, you still insist that ‘Azar’ was the uncle and not the ‘Abb’ or father of Prophet Ibraheem (a.s.), then perhaps from the below quoted Verse of Surah Yusuf, you would deduce that Prophet Yaqoob (a.s.) was not the ‘Abb’ (father) but rather the uncle of Prophet Yusuf (a.s.)???

Allah Says in the Holy Quran Chapter 12 Surah Yusuf verse 4:

4 Behold Yusuf said to his ‘Abi’ (father:ie. Prophet Yaqoob (a.s.)): "’Yaa Abati’ (O my father)! I did see eleven stars and the sun and the moon: I saw them prostrate themselves to me!"

Furthermore, in the incident of Prophet Musa (a.s.) going to Madyan, Allah Subhanah Himself relates the story whereby the father is referred to as the ‘Abb’ of the women……

Allah Says in the Holy Quran Chapter 28 Surah Qasas verses 23-26:

23 And when he (Musa (a.s.)) arrived at the watering (place) in Madyan he found there a group of men watering (their flocks) and besides them he found two women who were keeping back (their flocks). He (Musa (a.s.)) asked: "What is the matter with you?" They (the two women) said: "We cannot water (our flocks) until the shepherds take back (their flocks): and our ‘Abu’ (father) is a very old man."

24 So he (Musa (a.s.)) watered (their flocks) for them; then he turned back to the shade and said: "O my Lord! Truly am I in (desperate) need of any good that Thou dost send me!"

25 Afterwards one of the (women) came (back) to him walking bashfully. She said: "My ‘Abi’ (father) invites thee that he may reward thee for having watered (our flocks) for us." So when he (Musa (a.s.)) came to him and narrated the story he said: "Fear thou not: (well) hast thou escaped from unjust people."

26 Said one of the (daughters): "’Yaa Abati’ (O my father)! Engage him (Musa (a.s.)) on wages: truly the best of men for thee to employ is the (man) who is strong and trusty"

Please also note that the Lord Most High has used the exact terms ‘Yaa Abati’ (O my father) when the off-spring is in correspondence with their father, whether it be the conversations between Prophet Ibrahem (a.s.) and his father Azar, or Prophet Yusuf (a.s.) and his father Prophet Yaqoob (a.s.), or between the daughter and her father, the Shaykh of Madyan!

When time and time again, Allah Subhanah Himself refers to a father as ‘Abb’ in His Glorious Quran, it really beats our understanding what purpose would one derive in insisting that whenever the Prophet Ibraheem (saws) says ‘Abb’ it means his ‘uncle’ and not his father….and when all the others say ‘Abb’ it means their father and not their uncle!!!

Allah Says in the Holy Quran Chapter 90 Surah Balad verses 1-4:

1 I do call to witness this City (Makkah)

2 And thou (O Prophet (saws)) art a freeman of this City

3 And by (the ties of) ‘Waalid” (parent/s) and ‘Walad’ (child)

4 Verily! We have created man into toil and struggle.

As is norm with a multitude of Surahs of the same early Makkan period, Allah Subhanah ‘swears’ or ‘calls to witness’ several objects amongst His Creation; in the above quoted Verse 3, The Lord Calls to witness the mystic and unique ties that He has created between a parent and its child.

From absolutely no angle this Verse even remotely implies that Allah Subhanah, the Lord of the Worlds, is ‘Swearing’ or ‘Calling to witness’ the deceased parents of the Noble Prophet Mohamed (saws)!!!

First and foremost, Abu Jahl was of the tribe of ‘Banu Makhzoom’, while the Noble Prophet belonged to the tribe of ‘Banu Hashim’!

And secondly, since Abdullah ibn Abdul Muttalib, the father of the Prophet (saws) died before the birth of Prophet Mohamed (saws), Abdul-Muttalib, the grand-father of the Prophet (saws) was the natural guardian of the Prophet (saws)…..and when the Prophet (saws) was barely six years old, his grand-father Abdul-Muttalib passed away, and the Prophet (saws) was taken under the guardianship of his beloved paternal ‘Amm’ or uncle, Abi-Talib ibn Abdul Muttalib.

The evil and accursed enemy of Allah and His Messenger (saws) Abu Jahl of the tribe of ‘Banu Makhzoom’ had absolutely nothing to do with the sponsorship, guardianship, or nourishment of the Noble Prophet Mohamed (saws) at any time of his (saw’s) life!!!!!

Your Statement:Please brother get proper knowledge before spreading Wahabism Respected brother, in absolute humility we ask you to judge who has got the facts right, and who is intent on spreading falsehood:

One gives evidence upon evidence from the Glorious Quran that time and time again ‘Abb’ is meant to be a father….the other gives no evidence for his claim that the ‘Abb’ related in the Glorious Quran ‘actually’ refers to an ‘Amm’ or uncle!!!

One provided proof that in the context of the discourse, the Verse 3 of Surah Balad clearly implies the Lord calling to witness the unique and mystic ties between a parent and a child which He has created….while the other claims it means Allah is swearing by the deceased parents of His appointed Prophet (saws)!

One claims that every muslim historian worth his salt has recorded that the guardianship of the Noble Prophet Mohamed (saws) was held by his grand-father Abdul Muttalib, and after the death of his grand-father, the guardian of the Prophet (saws) was his paternal ‘Amm’ (or uncle), Abi-Taalib ibn Abdul Muttalib……the other claims that the evil and accursed enemy of Allah and His Messenger (saws), Abu Jahl of the tribe of ‘Banu Makhzoom’ was the guardian or provided nourishment during the growing years of the Prophet (saws), a member of the tribe of ‘Banu Hashim’!!!

Respected brother, in all honesty, you decide yourself who has got the facts right and who is intent on spreading absolute falsehoods!

Allah says in the Holy Quran Chapter 17 Surah Bani Israel verse 81:

And declare, “The Truth has come and falsehood has vanished. And falsehood is a thing that must by its nature, vanish!”

If one trusts, obeys, and follows the guidance and commands of Allah and His Messenger (saws), one can be assured of never ever being misled; but if one believes, obeys and follows any other guidance, other than that of Allah and His Messenger (saws), one can be assured of being led astray.

Whatever written of Truth and benefit is only due to Allah’s Assistance and Guidance, and whatever of error is of me alone. Allah Alone Knows Best and He is the Only Source of Strength.
