Dear Brother In Islam,

Assalamualaikum,

My question is not related to the topic which i have chosen, but certainly pertaining to Islam. As we all Muslim in the world knows that Allah (SWT) has sent down 4 revelation by Name, Zaboor, Tawrah, Injeel and the Glorious Quran.

According to my knowlege i know about the 3 revelation, followed by Muslim, Christain and the Jews and also the people who are following it are available on the surface of the planet earth. My question to you is about the 4 revelation which was sent to Dawood (AS).

Could you please tell about this revelation, when was it revealed and whether the follower of this revelation still persist on earth.

Please clarify me on this.

Revelation of pslams

In the name of Allah, We praise Him, seek His help and ask for His forgiveness. Whoever Allah guides none can misguide, and whoever He allows to fall astray, none can guide them aright. We bear witness that there is none worthy of worship but Allah Alone, and we bear witness that Muhammad (saws) is His slave-servant and the seal of His Messengers.

Your Question: My question to you is about the 4 revelation which was sent to Dawood (AS). Could you please tell about this revelation, when was it revealed

The Divine Scripture revealed by Allah Subhanah upon His noble slave and Prophet Dawood (a.s.) which are known as ‘Zuboor’ in the Glorious Quran, are referred to as the ‘Psalms of David’ or ‘The Psalms’ in the Jewish and Christian Scriptures. Although the exact time period of the Revelation of the ‘Zuboor’ or ‘Psalms’ are known to Allah Subhanah Alone, the Biblical scriptures date the period of Prophet Dawood (a.s.) and thus the revelations of the ‘Psalms’ at approximately 1500BC.

The ‘Psalms of David’ is an integral book and chapter of the ‘Old Testament’ or ‘Tawrah’, thus both the Jews and the Christians believe in the revelation of the ‘Zuboor’ or ‘Psalms’ of Prophet Dawood (a.s.). As to the current followers of the ‘Zuboor’ (or Pslams), all the three monotheistic religions (Judaism, Christianity, and Islam) claim belief that the ‘Zuboor’ (or Psalms) were the Divine Revelations of the Lord Creator upon His Noble Prophet Dawood (a.s.).

Whatever written of Truth and benefit is only due to Allah’s Assistance and Guidance, and whatever of error is of me alone. Allah Alone Knows Best and He is the Only Source of Strength.
