In the name of Allah, We praise Him, seek His
help and ask for His forgiveness. Whoever Allah guides none can misguide,
and whoever He allows to fall astray, none can guide them aright. We bear
witness that there is none worthy of worship but Allah Alone, and we bear witness
that Muhammad (saws) is His slave-servant and the seal of His Messengers.
Allah says in the Holy Quran Chapter 22 Surah
Hajj verse 77-78:
O you who have believed, do ‘rukooh’ (bow down) and do ‘sajdah’
(prostration), and worship your Lord Allah Alone, and do righteous deeds: it
may be that you attain true success!
Exert your utmost for the cause of Allah, as one should. He has chosen you for His service, and has
not laid on you any hardship in your religion.
Therefore, be steadfast in the
religion of your father Abraham. Allah
had named you ‘muslims’ before this, and has named you (muslims) in this Quran
also, so that the Messenger may
be a witness in regard to you, and you
may be witnesses in regard to the rest of mankind.
Allah says in Chapter 30
Surah Rum aayat 31-32
This (Islam) is the right and true faith, but
most people do not know. (Be steadfast on this) turning wholly and sincerely
towards Allah Alone, and fear Him, and establish the Salat, and do not be
like the ‘mushriks’, who have set up their separate creeds and divided
themselves into sects, each sect rejoicing in what it has.
Allahs says in Chapter 42 Surah Ash-Shura aayat
13
He (Allah) has appointed for you the same Way of
Life, which He had ordained for Noah,
and which (O Mohamed (saws)) We have now revealed to you, and which We had
already enjoined on Abraham and Moses and Jesus, stressing this: "Establish
this Way and be not divided in it".
Al-Tirmidhi Hadith 171 Narrated by Abdullah ibn Amr
That Allah's Messenger (saws) said: “There
will befall my Ummah exactly all those evils which befell the people of Israel
(Jews and Christians), so much so that
if there was one amongst them who openly committed fornication with his mother,
there will be amongst my Ummah one, who will do the same. And if the people of
Dear and beloved sister in Islam, Shias, Sunnis, Ismailis,
Salafees, Ahle-Sunnah, Ahle-Hadeeth, etc. are all sect names which man has
named and chosen for himself; ……the name which Allah Subhanah has Himself
chosen for the believers is ‘muslims’!
It does not behove and befit a true believer who sincerely
believes in Allah and the Last Day, to belong to any self-invented and man-made
sect; but rather he should be proud to be recognized with the name his Lord
Most Gracious has chosen for His believing slaves: ie. ‘muslims’.
I would

Mohammad (S.A.W.S.) and why Shi'as they sent salawat to Prophet and as

Allah says in the Holy Quran Chapter 33 Surah
Ahzaab verse 56:
56 Allah and His Angels send blessings on the Prophet: O ye that
believe! Send ye blessings on him, and
salute him with all respect.
When Allah Subhanah commanded the believers to send the ‘salawat’
or pray the salutation on Prophet Mohamed (saws), the companions of the
Messenger of Allah (saws) came to him and asked him how should they obey the
Command of Allah Subhanah. And the
Messenger of Allah (saws) taught them the ‘salawat’, which is recited by the believers till today,
and until the end of time; Insha Allah.
Al-Muwatta Hadith 9.70
Yahya related from Malik from Nuaym ibn
Abdullah al-Mujmirthat, Muhammad ibn Abdullah ibn Zayd told him that Abu Masud
al Ansari said, "The Messenger of Allah (saws) came to us at the gathering
of Sad ibn Ubada. Bashir ibn Sad said
to him, 'Allah has ordered us to ask for blessings on you, O Messenger of Allah
(saws). How should we do it?' The Messenger of Allah (saws), remained silent
until we wished we had not asked him. Then he (saws) told us to say, 'O Allah,
bless Muhammad and the family of Muhammad as You blessed Ibrahim and the family
of Ibrahim, and give baraka to Muhammad and the family of Muhammad as You gave
baraka to Ibrahim and the family of Ibrahim. In all the worlds You are worthy
of Praise and Glorious,'"

Your
Questions: And plz give me tafseer of some verses from holy Qur'an, plz find
below :
My dear and respected brother in Islam, if Allah Subhanah
Wills and Helps us, we will strive to the best of our humble ability to depict
the ‘tafseer’ of all the five ‘phrases’ quoted by you from the Glorious Quran.
Respected brother, if one truly wishes to understand and
seek guidance from the Glorious Quran, it is absolutely imperative that one
study and understand the ‘phrases’ of the Glorious Quran in context with the
full Aayah and the Aayahs preceding and proceeding it….then and only then would
one be able to gain the correct ‘tafseer’ and the true understanding of the
Glorious Book of Guidance.
If one merely ‘chooses’ and ‘picks’ a phrase from the
middle of the Aayah and tries to interpret it ‘out of context’ with the subject
matter of the preceding and/or proceeding ‘Aayahs’…..it is obvious that one
would neither get the true picture nor the true understanding of the Glorious
Quran.
All of the five ‘phrases’ or ‘part-Aayahs’ quoted by you
when read in isolation may give one picture…but if read in the context of the
full Aayah, the true Message and the true Picture of the Guidance of the
Glorious Quran can easily and accurately be understood, Insha Allah.
Ref-1: (It is Allah's wish to remove all blemish from you, O
Ahlul-Bayt, and purify you with a perfect purification. (33:33)
Allah Says in the Holy Quran Chapter 33 Surah
Ahzaab verses 28-34:
28 O Prophet (saws)! Say to
thy wives: "If it be that ye desire the life of this world and its
glitter, then come! I will provide for your enjoyment and set you free in a
handsome manner."
29 But if ye (O wives of
the Prophet (saws)) seek Allah and His Messenger
(saws) and the Home of the Hereafter, verily Allah has prepared for the
well-doers amongst you a great reward.
30 O wives of the
Prophet (saws)! if any of you were guilty of evident
unseemly conduct, the punishment would be doubled to her and that is easy for
Allah.
31 But any of you
(amongst the wives of the Prophet (saws)) that is
devout in the service of Allah and His Messenger, and works righteousness, to
her shall We grant her reward twice: and We have prepared for her a generous
sustenance.
32 O wives of the
Prophet (saws)! You are not like any of the (other)
women: if ye do fear (Allah), be not too complaisant of speech lest one in
whose heart is a disease should be moved with desire: but speak ye a speech
(that is) just.
33 And (o ye wives of
the Prophet (saws)) stay quietly in your houses and
make not a dazzling display like that of the former ‘times of ignorance’; and
establish regular prayer and give regular charity; and obey Allah and His
Messenger. And Allah only wishes to remove all abomination from you ‘O Ahlil
Bayt’ (members of the (Prophet’s (saws)) household) and to make you pure and
spotless.
34 And recite what is rehearsed to you in your homes of the Signs of
Allah and His Wisdom: for Allah understands the finest mysteries and is
well-acquainted (with them).
In the above quoted verses of Surah Ahzaab, the Lord Most
Majestic Most Supreme has specifically directed this Discourse towards the
ladies and specifically the noble and chaste wives of the Prophet (saws), given
them collective guidance on the importance of their special rank and position
as the wives of the Last and Final Messenger (saws) and what behavior is
acceptable from them and what is unacceptable.
The statement of the Lord in the latter part of the Verse 33: ‘….And Allah only wishes
to remove all abomination from you ‘O Ahlil Bayt’ (members of the (Prophet’s
(saws)) household) and to make you pure and spotless’ is the
declared mission and conclusion of the Lord in giving this noble discourse and
guidance to the ladies and specially the wives of the Prophet (saws)…..to
remove all abomination from the members of the Prophet’s (saws) household and
make them absolutely pure and worthy of the station of being the wives of the
Last and Final Messenger of Allah (saws).
Some misguided people and sects, who have their own
political and religious agenda, have tried to quote this part-Aayah and phrase
of Verse 33 from the Surah Al-Ahzaab in their futile efforts to prove their erroneous
beliefs regarding the superiority of their ‘listed’ and ‘nominated’ members of
the ‘Ahlal-Bayt’, which obviously do not include the noble and chaste wives of
the Prophet (saws)!
Allah says in the Holy
Quran Chapter 17 Surah Bani Israel verse 81:
And declare, “The
Truth has come and falsehood has vanished.
And falsehood is a thing, that must by its very nature, vanish!”
Ref-2:
(O you believe, obey Allah and obey His
Messenger and those amongst you who are give supreme authority (by Allah).
(4:59)
Again brother, this is only part of the whole Aayah! The
whole Aayah is as follows:
Allah Says in the Holy
Quran Chapter 4 Surah Nisaa verse 59:
O
you who believe, obey Allah, and obey
the Messenger, and those entrusted with
authority amongst you. Then if there
arises any dispute about anything, refer the dispute to Allah and the
Messenger, if you truly believe in Allah
and the Last Day. That would be the best
way and most suitable for final determination.
The Arabic word ‘ati’ means
obey.. In the above aayah, Allah
commands the believers to obey Allah, and obey the Messenger, and those
entrusted with authority (olil-amr) amongst you. The above verse is extremely clear whereby
Allah says:
- ‘Ati-Allah’
meaning ‘obey Allah’
- ‘wa ati-ar Rasool’
meaning ‘obey the Messenger’
- ‘wa olil-amr minkum’ meaning
‘and those entrusted with authority amongst you.’
Allah
does not say ‘….wa ati olil amr minkum’. The command ‘ati’ (obey) is not placed
independently before the ‘olil-amr’.
And anyone who knows even basic Arabic grammar will confirm that because
the word ‘ati’ (obey) is not placed before ‘olil-amr’ (those entrusted with
authority), then it becomes a ‘mashroot’
(condition), that the believers have to
obey those entrusted with authority amongst them, ONLY IF THEY OBEY ALLAH
AND His MESSENGER (saws)!
Thus
in essence, total, categorical, unreserved and unconditional obedience is due
only to Allah and His Messenger (saws); everyone other than Allah and His
Messenger (saws) will only be obeyed if, and only if, what they command is
endorsed by Allah and His Messenger (saws)!
Then
Allah continues in the same Aayah: ‘……if there arises a
dispute about anything, refer the
dispute back to Allah (the Quran) and the Messenger (His Sunnah)…. If you truly
believe in Allah and the Last Day’.
The commandment is extremely
clear … Obey Allah, obey His Messenger (saws), and those entrustedm with
authority amongst you, (only if they obey Allah and His Messenger (saws).) But if there arises any disputes, then refer
the dispute back to Allah(The Quran) and the Messenger(His Sunnah).
In the above Aayah, Allah
Subhanah has Commanded the believers to obey the people who have authority
amongst them, as long as they obey Allah and His Messenger (saws). But if for any reason, these people who have
authority amongst them go against anything
from the Quran and Sunnah, the believers are not to obey them in that command
of theirs. Unconditional obedience in
Islam is due to Allah and His Messenger (saws) alone; the obedience of everyone
and anyone else will be under the condition that their command is in accordance
with the Guidance of Allah and His Messenger (saws).
Some misguided people and sects, who have their own
political and religious agenda, have tried to quote this part-Aayah and phrase
of Verse 59 from Surah An-Nisa in their futile efforts to prove their erroneous
belief that just as unconditional obedience is due to Allah and His Messenger
(saws), unconditional obedience is similarly due to their ‘listed’ and ‘nominated’ members of the
progeny and descendants of the Prophet (saws)…..Allah is our witness brother,
the term ‘olil-amr’ (those entrusted with authority) used in the verse is
general and not specific to any particular family or person/s, nor does the
Command of the Lord in any way imply or suggest that unconditional obedience is
due to anyone other than Allah and His Messenger (saws)!
Allah says in the Holy
Quran Chapter 17 Surah Bani Israel verse 81:
And declare, “The
Truth has come and falsehood has vanished.
And falsehood is a thing, that must by its very nature, vanish!”
Ref-3: None touches (the depth of meaning of Quran) save the
purified ones. (56:79)
One of the most blasphemous accusations of the
disbelieving Quraish of Makkah was that the Glorious Quran was not Revealed by
Allah Subhanah, but rather was the work of the evil jinns, or some evil men, or
the Shaytaan, etc. They absolutely and
categorically refused to believe that this Noble Quran brought to them through
the Noble Prophet Mohamed (saws) was the Divine Revelations of the Lord Himself
Who Created!
Allah Says in the Holy Quran Chapter 81 Surah
Takwir verses 19-28:
19 Verily this (Al-Quran) is the Word of a most honorable messenger (Hadrat
Jibrael (a.s.)
20 Endued with power, with rank, before the
Lord of the Throne
21 With authority there; (and) faithful of
his trust.
22 And (O people!) your companion (Prophet Mohamed (saws)) is not one
possessed;
23 And without doubt he (the Prophet (saws)) saw him (Hadrat Jibrael
(a.s.)) in the clear horizon.
24 Neither doth he withhold grudgingly a
knowledge of the unseen.
25 Nor is it (the Quran) the word of the ‘Shaytaan’, the accursed.
26 Then whither go ye?
27 Verily this is no less than a Message to
(all) the Worlds:
28 To whoever among you who wills to go
straight.
Allah Says in the Holy Quran Chapter 89 Surah
Haaqah verses 40-49:
40 That this (Al-Quran) is verily the word
of an honored messenger;
41 It is not the word of a poet: little it is
ye believe!
42 Nor is it the word of a soothsayer: little admonition it is ye receive.
43 (This is) a Message sent down from the
Lord of the Worlds.
44 And if the Prophet (saws) were to invent
any sayings in Our Name
45 We should certainly seize him by his
right hand
46 And We should certainly then cut off the
artery of his heart!
47 Nor could any of you withhold him (from
Our wrath).
48 But verily this is a Message for those
who fear Allah,
49 And We certainly know that there are
amongst you those that reject (it)!
Allah Says in the Holy Quran Chapter 17 Surah
Israa verses 88-89:
88 Say (O Prophet (saws)): "If
the whole of mankind and the Jinns were to gather together to produce the like
of this Qur'an, they could not produce the like thereof; even if they
backed up each other with help and support.
89 And We have explained to man in this Qur'an every kind of
similitude: yet the grater part of men refuse (to receive it) except with
ingratitude!
In was in context and in response of these blasphemous
accusation of the disbelievers amongst the Quraish of Makkah regarding the
authenticity of the Glorious Quran when these Aayahs of Surah Al-Waqiah were
revealed……basically exemplifying the fact and the absolute truth that leave
alone the evil and impious and impure amongst men, jinns, poets, soothsayers,
the Shaytaan, etc., in the ‘World of the Unseen’, this Glorious and Honorable
Book is touched only by those whose purity and trustworthiness is absolutely
guaranteed by Allah Subhanah; ie. The Angels!
Allah Says in the Holy Quran Chapter 56 Surah
Waqiah verses 75-82:
75 Furthermore I (Allah Subhanah) call to
witness the setting of the stars
76 And that is indeed a mighty adjuration if
ye but knew!
77 That this is indeed a Qur'an, Most Honorable
78 In a Book, well-guarded;
79 Which none touch, but those who are (absolutely) pure (the Angels).
80 A Revelation from the Lord of the Worlds.
81 Is it such a Message that ye would hold
in light esteem?
82 And have ye made it your livelihood that
ye should declare it false?
Some misguided people and sects, who have their own
political and religious agenda, have tried to quote this Verse 59 from Surah
Al-Waqiah in their futile efforts to prove their erroneous belief that none can
touch ‘the
depth of meaning of the Quran’ except those people whom these
unscrupulous sects nominate! They use
this verse absolutely out of context in their blasphemous efforts to prove that
the Meaning and the Message of the Glorious Quran is absolutely difficult and
nigh impossible to interpret and understand unless it is taught by the people
these sects nominate!
I truly wonder what these unscrupulous people and sects
who claim that the Meaning and the Clear Message of the Glorious Quran is
difficult or impossible to understand by the common man have to say about these
‘Declarations’ of the Lord Most High, Most Majestic, Most Supreme:
Allah says in the Holy Quran Chapter 2 Surah
Baqarah verse 185:
Ramadan is the month in which the Quran was sent
down: this Book is a Perfect Guidance
for mankind and consists of clear Teachings which show the
Allah says in the Holy Quran Chapter 44 Surah
Dukhan verse 58:
We have
made this Book easy in your own tongue so that they may ponder and take good
counsel.
Allah says in the Holy Quran Chapter 12 Surah
Yusuf verse 1-2:
These are the verses of the Book that makes its object perfectly clear. We have sent it down as a Quran in Arabic, so that you may understand it well.
Allah says in the Holy Quran Chapter 16 Surah
Nahl verse 89:
We have sent down to you this Book, which makes everything plain, and is a guidance, blessing and good news to those who have
surrendered themselves entirely.
Allah says in the Holy Quran Chapter 19 Surah
Maryam verse 97:
We have
made this Quran easy, and sent it down in your tongue so that you should give
good news to the pious and warn the stubborn people.
Allah says in the Holy Quran Chapter 18 Surah
Kahf verse 1-3:
All praise is for Allah Alone, Who has sent down
this Book to His Servant (Mohamed (saws),
and assigned nothing crooked
to it. This Book says everything
directly, so that he may warn the people of the severe chastisement of
Allah and give good news to the believers,
who do righteous deeds, that they
will have an excellent reward.
If only these people and these sects could fear Allah and
align their beliefs to the clear guidance of the Quran rather than self-forming
their false beliefs and then searching for words or phrases out of context from
the Quran, in their futile efforts to verify their false beliefs! True Guidance is to align one’s belief with
the clear Guidance of Glorious Quran; not make the Glorious Quran follow one’s
self-formed beliefs….for that then would be to make an absolute and complete
mockery of the Glorious Book of Allah Subhanah!
Allah says in the Holy Quran Chapter 27 Surah
Naml verses 1-6:
Taa Seen.
These are the verses of the
Quran and the lucid (clear and open) Book; a guidance and good news for those believers
who establish the Salaat, and pay the
Zakaat; and they are the ones who fully
believe in the Hereafter. The fact is
that We have made the misdeeds of those who deny the Hereafter seem fair to
them; therefore, they stray about blindly. They are the ones for whom there is an evil
chastisement, and in the Hereafter they
shall be the worst losers. And (O
Mohamed), you are most surely receiving
this Quran from the One, Who is the All
Wise, All Knowing.
Allah says in the Holy Quran Chapter 30 Surah
Rum verses 58-60:
We have
set forth in this Quran every sort of argument to make the people understand; but whatever ‘aayah’ you may bring, the
disbelievers will certainly say, “You are following falsehood”. Thus does Allah seal up the hearts of those
who understand not. So, patiently persevere;
for surely the promise of Allah is True.
And let not those who have no
certainty of faith, shake your firmness.
Allah says in the Holy Quran Chapter 34 Surah
Saba verse 5:
As for
those who strive hard to discredit Our Revelations, for them is a painful torment, most humiliating.
Ref-4: No one knows its interpretation except Allah and those
who are firmly ground in
knowledge.
(3:7)
Again brother, another example of taking a phrase or
quoting a part of the Aayah of the Glorious Quran absolutely and totally out of
context!
Allah Says in the Holy Quran Chapter 3 Surah
Ale-Imran verses 1-9:
1 Alif. Laam. Meem.
2 Allah! there is no god but He, The
Living, The Self-Subsisting Eternal.
3 It is He Who sent down to thee (step by step) in Truth the Book
confirming what went before it; and He sent down Law (to Moses) and the Gospel
(to Jesus) before this as a guide to mankind; and He sent down the ‘Furqaan’
(The Quran as a criterion between right and wrong).
4 Then those who reject faith in the Signs of Allah will suffer the
severest penalty, and Allah is Exalted in Might, Lord of Retribution.
5 From Allah verily nothing is hidden on
earth or in the heavens.
6 He it is Who shapes you in the wombs as He pleases. There is no god but He, The Exalted in Might,
The Wise.
7 He it is Who has sent down to thee the
Book: in it are verses basic or fundamental (of established meaning); they are
the foundation of the Book: others are allegorical. But those in whose hearts is perversity
follow the part thereof that is allegorical seeking ‘fitnah’ (discord) and
searching for its ‘taweel’ (hidden meanings); but no one knows its
‘taaweel’ (hidden meanings) except Allah; and those who are firmly grounded in
knowledge say: "We believe in the Book; the whole of it is from our
Lord"; and none will grasp the Message except men of
understanding.
8 "O Our Lord!" (the people grounded in Knowledge pray)
"let not our hearts deviate now after Thou hast guided us, but grant us
Mercy from Thine own Presence; for Thou art the Grantor of bounties without
measure.
9 "O Our Lord! Thou art He that will gather mankind together
against a Day about which there is no doubt: for Allah never fails in His
promise."
Dear and Beloved Brother in Islam, the above quoted verse
of Surah Ale Imraan literally breaks the back of all those unscrupulous clergy
and holy men who have invented their sects on the basis of what they claim is
their understanding of the ‘taweel’ knowledge!
Allah Subhanah Himself Declares that He has revealed two
kinds of verses in His Glorious Quran:
- ‘Muhkamaat’
verses, or those which are basic, fundamental, and verses whose meanings
and commands are absolutely clear and understood by all.
- ‘Mutashabehaat’
verses, or those verses which are allegorical and ambiguous, and whose
meanings cannot be accurately determined with certainty.
Allah Subhanah Himself Declares that the ‘Muhkamaat’
verses are the ‘Umm-al-Kitaab’ or the ‘foundation of the Book’. The absolute majority of this Glorious Book
Guidance consists of ‘muhkamaat’ verses, the meanings and commands of which are
made absolutely clear by Allah and His Messenger (saws), and any believer who
wishes to understand, obey, follow and implement these commands in his life
would have absolutely no trouble in determining its meanings.
Then there are some verses in the Glorious Quran which are
‘Mutashabehaat’ or ambiguous. For
example, verses like ‘Alif. Laam. Meem.’, ‘Yaa-Seen’, etc.; the meanings of
which are not absolutely clear.
Now the first question which should arise that why would
Allah Subhanah Who revealed this Glorious Book of Guidance reveal verses which
are allegorical and ambiguous?
Because Allah has involved mankind to a test in this short
and transitory life, He wishes to determine who amongst those who claim to
follow the Quran are sincere in their obedience, and who amongst them have the
disease of perversity, hypocrisy and disbelief in their hearts! And the Lord All-Wise Himself reveals the
criteria of determining these two categories in the very next phrases:
‘But those in whose
hearts is perversity follow the part thereof that is allegorical seeking
‘fitnah’ (discord) and searching for its ‘taweel’ (hidden meanings); but no one
knows its ‘taaweel’ (hidden meanings) except Allah’
The very first sign of those who have a disease of
perversity in their hearts is that these evil-doers ALWAYS focus their
attention and energies on the verses which are allegorical and ambiguous to
justify the evil they do in the name of Allah’s religion! These evil people are the absolute foremost
in claiming that they (alone!) possess and have the ‘taweel’ (hidden) knowledge
of the Quran, and in their transgression they try to convert the whole Quran
into ‘mutashabehaat’ or ambiguous verses….thus making it very convenient for
them to bend and stretch even the clear verses to suit their far-fetched and
self-invented meanings and beliefs!
They are the ones who are foremost in breaking this Ummah
of Islam into sects and sub-sects based on their ‘taweel’, ‘baatin’, and
‘haqeeqat’ knowledge which they claim to monopolize!
They are the ones who claim superiority over the other
believers for themselves and their families!
They are the ones who declare that those alone who
subjugate and follow them alone will receive salvation; and all those who do
not follow their created sect are fools, losers, and misguided!
They are the ones who are foremost in making sure none of
their followers ever try to understand the Glorious Quran, warning them that
this clear Book of Guidance will misguide them from the Right Path!
Allah Subhanah has absolutely exposed these evil
self-declared ‘clergy and holy men’ in His verses, and even declares what is
their real intention in trying to ALWAYS focus their energies on the ambiguous
and allegorical verses seeking its ‘taaweel’:
‘….But those in whose
hearts is perversity follow the part thereof that is allegorical seeking
‘fitnah’ (discord) and searching for its ‘taweel’ (hidden meanings);’
Their one and only intention is seeking and sowing
‘fitnah’ (discord) in the United Ummah of Islam; for their evil ‘shops’ which
they have opened in the name of religion would only succeed in an environment
of confusion!
But The All-Wise, All-Knowing, All-Supreme Lord of the
Worlds in the very next phrase takes away their one tool which they use to
create their ‘fitnah’ by Unilaterally Declaring that none knows the ‘taaweel’
of the Quran except Allah Subhanah Alone!
‘… but no one knows its
‘taaweel’ (hidden meanings) except Allah!’
Thus my beloved brother, if anyone in creation dares to
claim that they possess the ‘taaweel’ knowledge of the Quran, know with
absolute conviction that these people are nothing but confirmed and manifest
liars; for none except our Lord Most Gracious Alone has Perfect and Absolute
Knowledge of the ‘taweel’!
In the following phrases of the Verse, Allah Subhanah
differentiates the true believers from these evil-doers and hypocrites who have
bartered the Words of Allah for paltry worldly gains and benefits.
‘….and those who are
firmly grounded in knowledge say: "We believe in the Book; the whole of it
is from our Lord";’
The true believers are those who sincerely believe in the
Book revealed by their Lord, for the whole of it, the ‘muhkamaat’ (clear) and
the ‘mutashabehat’ (ambiguous) both are all from their Lord; and they are foremost
in obeying, following, and submitting themselves to the clear commands from
their Lord. They are the ones who
constantly seek the refuge of their Lord from the diseases of hypocrisy,
perversity, and disbelief which might enter their hearts! In all humility and fear, they are constant
in beseeching and imploring their Lord to bestow upon them His Mercy, and they
sincerely fear a Day when their Lord will gather all mankind together to take a
full accounting of their deeds. In the
Sight of Allah Subhanah, these humble people are the true believers!
8 "O Our Lord!" (the people grounded in Knowledge pray)
"let not our hearts deviate now after Thou hast guided us, but grant us
Mercy from Thine own Presence; for Thou art the Grantor of bounties without measure.
9 "O Our Lord! Thou art He that will gather mankind together
against a Day about which there is no doubt: for Allah never fails in His
promise."
Ref-5: Ask the people of Reminder if you do not know. (21:7,
16:43)
Once again! A phrase or part-Aayah taken absolutely out of
context!
Although the literal meaning of the Arabic and Quranic
term ‘Dhikr’ is a Remembrance, just as Allah Subhanah has used synonyms like
‘Al-Kitaab’ (The Book) or ‘Al-Furqaan’ (The Criterion), the term ‘Ad-Dhikr’ is
also used as a synonym for all His Divine Scriptures, the Torah, the Gospel,
and the Quran.
Allah Says in the Holy Quran Chapter 21 Surah
Anbiyaa verses 105-106:
105 Before this We wrote in the ‘Zuboor’ (Psalms) after the
‘Dhikr’ (the Torah revealed to Prophet Musa (a.s.)): ‘My servants the righteous shall inherit the earth."
106 Verily in the (Qur'an) is a Message for
people who would (truly) worship Allah.
Allah Says in the Holy Quran Chapter 15 Surah
Hijr verse 9:
9 We have without doubt
Revealed the ‘Dhikr’ (Al-Quran); and We will
assuredly guard it (from corruption)
Allah Says in the Holy Quran Chapter 38 Surah
Saad verse 8:
8 "What! Has the
‘Dhikr’ (Al-Quran) been Revealed to him (Prophet Mohamed (saws) of all persons)
amongst us?" But they are in doubt concerning My ‘Dhikr’ (Al-Quran)! Nay! They have not yet tasted My Punishment!
Allah Says in the Holy Quran Chapter 41 Surah
Haa-Meem verses 40-42:
40 Those who pervert the Truth in Our Revelations are not hidden from
Us. Which is better? He that is cast into the Fire or he that comes safe
through on the Day of Judgement? Do what ye will: Verily He Sees (clearly) all
that ye do.
41 Those who reject the
‘Dhikr’ (Al-Quran) when it comes to them (are not hidden from Us); and indeed
it (the Quran) is a Book of exalted power.
42 No falsehood can approach it (the Quran) from before or behind it:
it is sent down by One, Full of Wisdom, Worthy of all Praise.
The pagan Arabs of Makkah were obviously unfamiliar with
the concept of the sending of the Prophets and the Revelations of the Divine
Scriptures of Allah like the Jews and the Christians, for the ‘People of the
Book’ had the good fortune of having been sent Prophet after Prophet and Divine
Scripture after Divine Scripture, almost uninterrupted since the appointment of
Prophet Musa (a.s.) till the time of Prophet Isa (a.s.).
Allah Says in the Holy Quran Chapter 21 Surah
Anbiyaa verses 1-10:
1 Closer and closer to mankind comes their Reckoning: yet they heed
not and they turn away.
2 Never comes (aught) to them of a renewed Message from their Lord but
they listen to it as in jest.
3 Their hearts toying as with trifles.
The wrongdoers conceal their private counsels (saying) "Is this
(Prophet Mohamed (saws)) more than a man like yourselves? Will ye go to witchcraft
with your eyes open?"
4 Say (O Prophet (saws)): "My Lord Knows (every) word (spoken) in
the heavens and the earth: He is the One that Hears and Knows (all things).”
5 "Nay" they say "(these are) medleys of dreams! Nay! He
(saws) has forged it!—Nay! He (saws) is (but) a poet! Let him then bring us a
Sign like the ones that were sent to (the Prophets) of old!"
6 (As to those Prophets who came) before them not one of the
populations which We destroyed believed: will these then believe?
7 Before thee (O Mohamed (saws)) also the Messengers we sent were but
men to whom We granted inspiration: if
ye (O disbelievers) realize this not, ask the ‘ahle-Dhikr’.
8 Nor did We give them (the past Prophets) bodies that ate no food,
nor were they exempt from death.
9 In the end We fulfilled to them Our promise and We saved them and
those whom We pleased, but We destroyed those who transgressed beyond bounds.
10 We have revealed for you (O men!) a Book in which is a Message for
you: will ye not then understand?
Allah Says in the Holy Quran Chapter 16 Surah
Nahl verses 43-44:
43 And before thee (O Mohamed (saws)) also the Messengers We sent were
but men, to whom We granted inspiration: if
ye (O disbelievers) realize this not, ask the ‘ahle-Dhikr’.
44 (We sent the past Prophets) with Clear Signs and Books of dark
prophecies; and We have sent down unto thee (also) the Message (Al-Quran); that
thou may explain clearly to men what is sent for them, and that they may give
thought!
Because the pagan Arabs who were unfamiliar with the
sending of the Prophets and the Divine Scriptures like the ‘People of the Book’
(the Jews and the Christians)….and because they were to averse to believe that
a normal human being who sat, ate, and walked amongst them could be appointed
to the high station of Prophethood and receive Revelations from the Lord
Creator….Allah Subhanah guides these disbelievers to ask the ‘Ahle-Kitaab’ or
the ‘Ahle-Dhikr’ or the ‘People of the Book’ who would confirm with them that
even the Prophets who came to them were normal human beings who received
Revelations and Divine Scriptures from their Lord Creator!
Thus brother, if one reads the phrase in context with the
full Aayah and the preceding and proceeding Aayahs, it should be absolutely
clear that the ‘Ahle-Dhikr’ referred to in these phrases is none other than the
‘Ahle-Kitaab’ or the Jews and the Christians.
If the pagan Arabs were refusing to believe in the Message only because
Prophet Mohamed (saws) was a normal human being like them but received Divine
Revelations from the Lord Creator, maybe they should ask the Jews and the
Christians who would be able to confirm with them that even the Prophets who
came to them were normal human beings who ate, sat, and walked amongst them!
Some misguided people and sects, who have their own
political and religious agenda, have tried to quote this part-Aayah and phrase
of Verse 7 from Surah Anbiya and Verse 43 from Surah Nahl in their futile
efforts to prove their erroneous belief that ‘if one does not know’, they should
‘ask’ the ‘Ahle-Dhikr’ or ‘People of Reminder’ amongst their specifically
‘nominated’ and ‘listed’ self-appointed ‘clergy’ and ‘holy men’….when Allah is
our witness brother, that is neither the directive nor the guidance of the
Glorious Quran!
Allah says in the Holy
Quran Chapter 17 Surah Bani Israel verse 81:
And declare, “The
Truth has come and falsehood has vanished.
And falsehood is a thing, that must by its very nature, vanish!”
If one trusts, obeys, and follows the guidance and
commands of Allah and His Messenger (saws),
one can be assured of never ever being misled; but if one believes, obeys and follows any
other guidance, other than that of Allah and His Messenger (saws), one can be
assured of being led astray.
Whatever written of Truth and benefit is only
due to Allah’s Assistance and Guidance, and whatever of error is of me
alone. Allah Alone Knows Best and He is
the Only Source of Strength.

well wisher in Islam,
