Answer:
Patience and palace
in paradise
In the name of Allah, We praise Him, seek His
help and ask for His forgiveness. Whoever Allah guides none can misguide,
and whoever He allows to fall astray, none can guide them aright. We bear
witness that there is none worthy of worship but Allah Alone, and we bear
witness that Muhammad (saws) is His slave-servant and the seal of His
Messengers.

Allah Says in the Holy Quran Chapter 2 Surah
Baqarah verses 155-157:
155 Be sure We shall test you with something of fear, and hunger, some loss
in goods, or lives or the fruits (of your toil); but give glad tidings to those
who patiently persevere.
156 Who say when afflicted with calamity: "To Allah we belong and
to Him is our return." (Inna lillahe wa inna ilayhe rajeoon)
157 They are those on whom (descend) blessings from Allah and Mercy and
they are the ones that receive guidance.
Commenting on the above verses 156-157 of
Surah Baqarah, Hadrat Abdullah ibn Abbas (r.a.) said: "Allah, the Almighty
and the Exalted, informs us that when a believer is patient and resigned after
a misfortune visits him and invokes Allah, Allah will grant him three (good)
merits: blessings, mercy, and guidance to the right path."
Abu Hurairah (r.a.) reports that the Prophet
(saws) said: "Allah, the Exalted and Glorious Says: 'I have no better
reward than Paradise for a believing servant of Mine who is patient and
resigned when I take away one of his beloved, one among those he most cherishes
in the world."

Perhaps the hadith you are referring to is the one quoted
below; but that is when a servant of Allah manifests patience when one amongst
their off-spring die in their lifetime……
Abu Musa al-Ash'ari (r.a.) reports that the
Prophet (saws) said: "When a child of a servant of Allah passes away,
Allah Asks (although He Knows Everything) to the Angels: 'Did you take the soul
of My servant's child?' They reply: 'Yes.' He, the Almighty, Says: 'Did you take away the
apple of my servant's eye?' They reply:
'Yes.' He, the Almighty Says: 'What did My servant say at this?' They reply: 'He praised You and said:
"Inna lillahi wa inna ilayhi raji'a un (Verily we belong to Allah and to
Him shall we return)." At this Allah Decrees: ' Build for My servant a
