I am living in Canada and is it allowed in Islam that I can write in the will to be burried in my native Bangladesh as all me family is there ? what are the

rules ? Jazak Aallah

Answer:

Write will to bury in homeland

In the name of Allah, We praise Him, seek His help and ask for His forgiveness. Whoever Allah guides none can misguide, and whoever He allows to fall astray, none can guide them aright. We bear witness that there is none worthy of worship but Allah Alone, and we bear witness that Muhammad (saws) is His slave-servant and the seal of His Messengers.

Although Islam encourages the burial of the deceased as soon as possible, if for any reason one wishes to be buried in a place other than where their death may take place, and they make a will to that effect or bequeath this their intention to their surviving loved one’s before their death…there is absolutely no harm.

Whatever written of Truth and benefit is only due to Allah’s Assistance and Guidance, and whatever of error is of me alone. Allah Alone Knows Best and He is the Only Source of Strength.
