Answer:
Why muaddin put
finger in ears adhaan
In the name of Allah, We praise Him, seek His
help and ask for His forgiveness. Whoever Allah guides none can misguide,
and whoever He allows to fall astray, none can guide them aright. We bear
witness that there is none worthy of worship but Allah Alone, and we bear
witness that Muhammad (saws) is His slave-servant and the seal of His
Messengers.
Al-Tirmidhi Hadith 653 Narrated by Sa'd al-Qurdh
Allah's Messenger (saws) guided Bilal (r.a.,
the muaddhin of the Messenger of Allah (saws)) that he should place his fingers
in his ears and said: ‘It makes the voice louder.’
The basic wisdom behind the ‘adhaan’ or call to prayer is
to announce aloud to all those in the vicinity that the time of prayer has
approached. The modern microphone was
obviously not yet invented at the times of the Messenger of Allah (saws), and
the Messenger of Allah (saws) thus guided his Muaddhin Hadrat Bilal (r.a.) to
place his fingers in his ears when he (r.a.) declared the ‘adhaan’ aloud, so
that the declaration of the ‘adhaan’ was made as loud as possible to enable all
those in the vicinity to hear the call to prayer. And Allah Alone Knows Best.
Whatever written of Truth and benefit is only
due to Allah’s Assistance and Guidance, and whatever of error is of me
alone. Allah Alone Knows Best and He is
the Only Source of Strength.

well wisher in Islam,
Burhan
