Answer:

Comfort crying child reward

In the name of Allah, We praise Him, seek His help and ask for His forgiveness. Whoever Allah guides none can misguide, and whoever He allows to fall astray, none can guide them aright. We bear witness that there is no one (no idol, no person, no grave, no prophet, no imam, no dai, nobody!) worthy of worship but Allah Alone, and we bear witness that Muhammad (saws) is His slave-servant and the seal of His Messengers.

Allah Says in the Holy Quran Chapter 46 Surah Ahqaaf verses 13-15:

13 Verily those who say "Our Lord is Allah" and remain firm (on that Path) on them shall be no fear nor shall they grieve.

14 Such shall be Companions of the Garden dwelling therein (for aye): a recompense for their (good) deeds.

15 We have enjoined on man Kindness to his parents: in pain did his mother bear him and in pain did she give him birth. The carrying of the (child) to his weaning is (a period of) thirty months.

Allah Says in the Holy Quran Chapter 31 Surah Luqmaan verse 14:

14 And We have enjoined on man (to be good) to his parents: in travail upon travail did his mother bear him and in years twain was his weaning: (hear the command) "Show gratitude to Me and to thy parents: to Me is (thy final) Goal.

There is absolutely no doubt that the duties and responsibilities a mother selflessly fulfills towards her child are a huge source and means to earn huge rewards from the Lord Most Merciful in the Hereafter. Such is the extent and status of the selfless sacrifices of a mother, especially during child-birth and during the weaning years, that the Messenger of Allah (saws) said that if a woman were to die during her childbirth, she would be amongst the ranks of those chosen as martyrs by Allah Subhanah in the Hereafter. And it is for no other reason than her sacrifices and services towards her child that the Messenger of Allah (saws) commanded and guided the believers to show kindness and tenderness three times as much to the mother than to the father!

Jabir ibn 'Utaik reported that Allah's Messenger (saws) said: "There are seven kinds of martyrs besides those killed in the cause of Allah:

1. a person who is killed in an epidemic,

2. a person who is drowned,

3. a person who has bed sores that cause fever and a bad cough resulting in his death,

4. a person who dies of a stomach disease,

5. a person who dies in a fire,

6. a person who dies under falling debris (in a disaster), and

7. a woman who dies during childbirth."

Sunan of Abu-Dawood Hadith 5120 Narrated by Mu'awiyah ibn Hayadah

I asked: O Messenger of Allah (saws)! To whom should I show kindness? He (saws) replied: Your mother. I asked: Who next? He (saws) replied: Your mother. I asked again: Who next? The Prophet (saws) replied: Your mother? I then asked: Who next? He (saws) replied: your father, and then your relatives in order of relationship.

As much and as many rewards the mother earns for her selfless sacrifices towards her children during their weaning years, to the best of our knowledge, there is absolutely nothing in the authentic and establish Sunnah which states or declares that she will have the reward of manumitting a slave for her comforting her crying child at night. Allah is our witness sister, if the mother fulfills her these duties and responsibilities without complaining, or moaning, or groaning, and the Lord Wills and Pleases, He may reward the mother with much much more than that.

Whatever written of Truth and benefit is only due to Allahs Assistance and Guidance, and whatever of error is of me alone. Allah Alone Knows Best and He is the Only Source of Strength.

Your brother and well wisher in Islam,

Burhan
