Answer:
Easing Dua for labor pains
In the name of Allah, We praise Him, seek His help
and ask for His forgiveness. Whoever Allah guides none can misguide, and
whoever He allows to fall astray, none can guide them aright. We bear witness
that there is no one (no idol, no person,
no grave, no prophet, no
imam, no dai, nobody!) worthy of worship but Allah Alone,
and we bear witness that Muhammad (saws) is His slave-servant and the seal of
His Messengers.
Abdallah b. Habib reported that the
Prophet (saws) said, "Speak." I asked, "O Messenger of Allah
(saws), what should I say?" He replied, "Recite Surat al-Ikhlas (112th
Surah), and the two last surahs (of the Qur'an), i.e.
Sahih Al-Bukhari Hadith 6.535 Narrated by Aisha
Whenever Allah's Messenger (saws)
became sick, he (saws) would recite Mu'awwidhat (Surat Al-Falaq and Surat
An-Nas) and then blow his breath over his body. When he became seriously ill, I
used to recite (these two Suras) and rub his hands over his body hoping for its
blessings.
Dear and Beloved Sister, although there is no
specific dua or supplication mentioned in the authentic Sunnah which a
believing woman must recite during her pregnancy, it was the Sunnah or way of
the Messenger of Allah (saws) that he would recite the 112th Surah
Al-Ikhlaas, 113th Surah Al-Falaq, and the 114th Surah
An-Naas and seek the Protection of Allah Subhanah from any and all trials and
evils.
In addition to the above Surahs, one may also
recite the Aayat-ul-Kursi (Surah Baqarah verse 255) and in their own language
and words remain constant in their supplications to their Lord Most Gracious to
have Mercy on them and their family, and beseech and implore Him in all
humility and hope that from His Unlimited and Endless Grace and Bounty He provides
them with a righteous offspring who would be a coolness to their eyes in this
world and the hereafter.
Whatever written of Truth and benefit is only due
to Allah’s Assistance and Guidance, and whatever of error is of me alone. Allah Alone Knows Best and He is the Only
Source of Strength.
Your brother and well
wisher in Islam,
Burhan
