I would
like to find out if women are allowed to enter and sit in the masjid while they
have their menstruation?

Answer:
Menses Mosque
In the name of Allah, We praise Him, seek His help and ask
for His forgiveness. Whoever Allah guides none can misguide, and whoever
He allows to fall astray, none can guide them aright. We bear witness that
there is no one (no idol, no person, no
grave, no prophet, no imam, no dai,
nobody!) worthy of worship but Allah Alone, and we bear witness that
Muhammad (saws) is His slave-servant and the seal of His Messengers.
Hadrat Umm Salamah (r.a.), the wife of the
Prophet (saws), related that the Messenger of Allah (saws) came to the mosque's
courtyard and said at the top of his voice, "The mosque is off limits to
menstruating women and the sexually impure persons."
Related by Ibn Majah and at-Tabarani.
In light of the above clear guidance of the Messenger of
Allah (saws) it is not permissible in Islam for one who is sexually impure or
for a menstruating woman to enter or sit in the Masajids.
Whatever written of Truth and benefit is only due to
Allah’s Assistance and Guidance, and whatever of error is of me alone. Allah Alone Knows Best and He is the Only
Source of Strength.
Your brother and well wisher in
Islam,
Burhan
