Assalam aleykum!! could please answer my question which state that: i want to know in detail what the meanig of Moharram?

Meaning of Moharram

In the name of Allah, We praise Him, seek His help and ask for His forgiveness. Whoever Allah guides none can misguide, and whoever He allows to fall astray, none can guide them aright. We bear witness that there is no one (no idol,  no person,  no grave, no prophet,  no imam,  no dai,  nobody!) worthy of worship but Allah Alone, and we bear witness that Muhammad(saws) is His slave-servant and the seal of His Messengers.

The meaning of the term ‘Moharram’ is derived from the root word ‘haram’,  which basically means something that has been declared sacred or sanctified or sacrosanct,  or something whose sanctity cannot be violated. 

Allah says in the Holy Quran Chapter 9 Surah Taubah verse 36: The number of months in the sight of Allah is twelve (in a year),  so ordained by Him the day He created the heavens and the earth;  of them four are sacred;  that is the straight usage.  So wrong not yourselves therein,  and fight the pagans all together as they fight you all together.  But know that Allah is with those who restrain themselves.

Since the month of Moharram is one of the four sacred months,  it was called the month of Moharram.
