Answer:
Prophet
predicted day of resurrection
In the
name of Allah, We praise Him, seek His help and ask for His forgiveness.
Whoever Allah guides none can misguide, and whoever He allows to fall astray,
none can guide them aright. We bear witness that there is no one (no idol, no
person, no grave, no prophet, no imam,
no dai, nobody!) worthy of
worship but Allah Alone, and we bear witness that Muhammad(saws) is His
slave-servant and the seal of His Messengers.
Beloved
brother in Islam, no matter which book says what, the Truth in Islam is always
based on what is declared by Allah and His Messenger (saws); for there is no
bigger Truth than that.
Allah
Subhanah Himself, time and time again in His Glorious Quran has declared that
no one, absolutely no one other than the Lord Himself Knows when the Inevitable
Day of Resurrection will occur. No human
being, no Prophets of Allah, not even the Angels closest to Him, and not even
the Arch-Angel Hadrat Jibrael (a.s.) knows the time of the Day of
Resurrection. The Knowledge of the
exact time of the Day of Resurrection is with none except the Lord of the
Worlds, Allah Subhanah Alone; and He has not shared this information with
anyone in His entire creation.
Allah Says in the Holy Quran Chapter 7 Surah Aaraaf verse 187: They ask thee about the (final) Hour when will be its appointed
time? Say: "The knowledge thereof is with my Lord (alone): none but He can
reveal as to when it will occur. Heavy
were its burden through the heavens and the earth. Only all of a sudden will it come to you.
They ask thee as if thou wert eager in search thereof: Say: "The knowledge
thereof is with Allah (alone) but most men know not."
Allah Says in the Holy Quran Chapter 33 Surah Ahzaab verse 63: Men ask thee concerning the Hour: say "The knowledge thereof is
with Allah (alone)": and what will make thee understand? Perchance the
Hour is nigh!
Sahih Al-Bukhari Hadith 6.300 Narrated
by Abu Huraira
One day while Allah's Messenger (saws) was sitting with the
people, a man came to him walking and said, "O Allah's Messenger (saws),
what is Belief?" The Prophet (saws)
said, "Belief is to believe in Allah, His Angels, His Books, His Prophets,
and the meeting with Him, and to believe in the Resurrection." The man
asked, "O Allah's Messenger (saws), what is Islam?" The Prophet
(saws) replied, "Islam is to worship Allah and not worship anything
besides Him, to offer prayers perfectly, to pay the (compulsory) charity, i.e.
Zakat, and to fast the month of Ramadan." The man again asked, "O
Allah's Messenger (saws), what is Ihsan (i.e. perfection or benevolence)?"
The Prophet (saws) said, "Ihsan is to worship Allah as if you see Him, and
if you do not achieve this state of devotion, then (take it for granted that)
Allah sees you." The man further asked, "O Allah's Messenger (saws)
When will the Hour be established?"
The Prophet (saws) replied, "The one who is asked about it
does not know more than the questioner does, but I will describe to you its
portents. When the lady slave gives birth to her mistress, that will be of its
portents; when the bare-footed naked people become the chiefs of the people,
that will be of its portents. The Hour is one of five things which nobody knows
except Allah. Verily, the knowledge of the Hour is with Allah (Alone).
He sends down the rain, and knows that which is in the wombs." Then the man left. The Prophet (saws) said, "Call him back
to me." They went to call him back but could not see him. The Prophet
(saws) said, "That was Jibrael (a.s.) who came to teach the people their
religion."
Thus my
beloved and dear Brother, in light of the above Aayahs of the Quran and the
authentic hadith of the Messenger of Allah (saws) it is absolutely confirmed
that none knows the knowledge of the advent of the Day of Resurrection except
Allah Subhanah Alone, and He shared this knowledge with none amongst His
creation.
Therefore
whoever said that Prophet Mohamed (saws) predicted the advent of the Day of Resurrection
is nothing but a confirmed liar.
Whatever
written of Truth and benefit is only due to Allah’s Assistance and Guidance,
and whatever of error is of me. Allah
Alone Knows Best and He is the Only Source of Strength.
Your Brother in Islam,
Burhan
