spouse- is that fine?

talk okay as long as it is with your spouse?

Answer:
Adult Jokes
In the name of Allah, We praise
Him, seek His help and ask for His forgiveness. Whoever Allah guides none
can misguide, and whoever He allows to fall astray, none can guide them aright.
We bear witness that there is no one (no idol, no person, no grave, no prophet, no imam,
no dai, nobody!) worthy of
worship but Allah Alone, and we bear witness that Muhammad(saws) is His
slave-servant and the seal of His Messengers.
Allah Says in the Holy
Quran Chapter 7 Surah Aaraaf verse 28:
28 When they do aught that is shameful they say: "We found our
fathers doing so"; and "Allah commanded us thus": say: "Nay
Allah never commands what is shameful: do ye say of Allah what ye
know not?"
Allah Says in the Holy Quran Chapter 28 Surah Qasas verse 55:
55 And when they hear vain talk they turn away therefrom
and say: "To us our deeds and to you yours; peace be to you: we seek not
the ignorant."
Allah Says in the Holy
Quran Chapter 23 Surah Miminoon verses 1-3:
1 The Believers must
(eventually) win through
2 Those who humble
themselves in their prayers;
3 Who avoid vain
talk;
Al-Tirmidhi Hadith
1741 Narrated by Anas ibn Malik
The Prophet (saws)
said: ‘Indecency disfigures everything, and modesty (Haya') enhances the charm
of everything.’
Q-1: Is it okay to read adult jokes? What about sharing these kinds of jokes with your spouse- is that fine?
‘Adult jokes’ or talking openly
about shameful things would be included in ‘fahesha’ (indecency), and ‘lagwaw’ (vain talk); things absolutely hated by
Allah Subhanah. It would be best for a
believer who sincerely believes in Allah and the Last Day to abstain from such
evil conversations and talks, even in jest! That would be considered
righteousness in the sight of Allah Subhanah.
Sahih Al-Bukhari
Hadith 8.158 Narrated by Abu
Huraira
The Prophet (saws)
said, "Whoever believes in Allah and the Last Day, should not hurt his
neighbor; and whoever believes in Allah and the Last Day should serve his guests
generously; and whoever believes in Allah and the Last Day should talk
what is good or keep quiet."
Q-2: Is
sex talk okay as long as it is with your spouse?
There is absolutely no veil or ‘hijaab’ between a husband and wife in Islam! They may talk whatever they wish, in person, or in letters, or on the phone, or on the internet, or wherever else they feel comfortable. It is absolutely permissible to enjoy each others company, whether they are near or far. There is absolutely no restriction if they exchange as many sexual words and feelings between each other over any medium of communication they wish to do so!
Whatever written of Truth and benefit is only due to Allah’s Assistance and Guidance, and whatever of error is of me. Allah Alone Knows Best and He is the Only Source of Strength.
Your Brother and well wisher in Islam,
