i want to know what is the Sin of doing Sucide..........

there is person who want to do sucide within few days.........

i have told him wat ever i can but he really dont even care abt his parents too he is only child and doing this act just cuz of not getting his ideal for marrying he know each and every thing abt ISLAM And when i tell him abt day of judgment or azab in grave then he just laugh and make fun of all this tell me any surah reagrding this.......

Answer:

Sin of Suicide

In the name of Allah, We praise Him, seek His help and ask for His forgiveness. Whoever Allah guides none can misguide, and whoever He allows to fall astray, none can guide them aright. We bear witness that there is no one (no idol, no person, no grave, no prophet, no imam, no dai, nobody!) worthy of worship but Allah Alone, and we bear witness that Muhammad(saws) is His slave-servant and the seal of His Messengers.

It is strictly prohibited in Islam to take the life of another human being without just reason; including one’s own.

Allah says in the Holy Quran Chapter 4 Surah Nisaa verse 29: O ye who believe! Eat not up your property among yourselves in vanities: but let there be amongst you traffic and trade by mutual good-will: nor kill (or destroy) yourselves: for verily Allah hath been to you Most Merciful.

The Messenger of Allah (saws) warned that whoever commits suicide, his punishment will be guaranteed Hell Fire, and he will be tortured in the same manner in which he killed himself.

Sahih Al-Bukhari Hadith 2.445 Narrated by Thabit bin Ad Dahhak

The Prophet (p.b.u.h) said, "Whoever commits suicide with piece of iron will be punished with the same piece of iron in the Hell Fire." Narrated Jundab the Prophet said, "A man was inflicted with wounds and he committed suicide, and so Allah said: My slave has caused death on himself hurriedly, so I forbid Paradise for him."

Sahih Al-Bukhari Hadith 2.446 Narrated by Abu Huraira

The Prophet (saws) said, "He who commits suicide by throttling shall keep on throttling himself in the Hell Fire (forever) and he who commits suicide by stabbing himself shall keep on stabbing himself in the Hell-Fire."

Your Statement: then he just laugh and make fun of all this.

If you warn him of the impending punishment of Allah from the Quran and Sunnah, and the brother laughs at the warnings of Truth you are advising him; he obviously does not believe in the warnings of Allah and His Messenger (saws). If he is laughing today; assure him that he will only have regrets, torture, and the everlasting punishment of Hell Fire, if he goes ahead with his threat of suicide!

Whatever written of Truth and benefit is only due to Allah’s Assistance and Guidance, and whatever of error is of me. Allah Alone Knows Best and He is the Only Source of Strength.
