Bohra curses

Mu'meneen Brothers and Sisters,

As Salaam Aleikum wa Rahmatullahi wa Barakatuhu. (May Allah's Peace, Mercy and Blessings be upon all of you)

One of our brothers/sisters has asked this question:

Burhan
I have one and only one question for you.

It is well reknowned that only a snake is capable of biting its own guardian(je ane dudh pilaawe ahnej ei dusee le)

So can u tell me which category you lie in..?
You have betrayed the very important message of allah: that never harm the one who nurtures you. May be you have a different concept.

One more thing rasulallah(swt) has said about muslim brethren, is that, never abase a fellow muslim, but thats exactly what you do by talking ill of the bohra muslims, taking the excerpts from quran.
Even Rasuallah(swt) himself never talked ill of abubakar(la`anaullah) in public although he knew he was bad.

Allah never gave the final authority to anyone to be the judge of others actions, and again, thats exactly what you do in your write-ups

Isaa nabi(swt) asked the people of a vllage to throw stones on the prostitute only if they were sure that they themselves were sinless...
Are you sure you are sinless? that you can pass remarks or advice on other bohrie/muslim brethren`s actions.
You should first understand what your status is in front of allah and then weigh the status of others.
May allah guide you in the right direction fellow brother burhan.
I would appreciate if you can make this question public and answer back.

Answer:

Bohra curses

In the name of Allah, We praise Him, seek His help and ask for His forgiveness. Whoever Allah guides none can misguide, and whoever He allows to fall astray, none can guide them aright. We bear witness that there is no one (no idol, no person, no grave, no prophet, no imam, no dai, nobody!) worthy of worship but Allah Alone, and we bear witness that Muhammad(saws) is His slave-servant and the seal of His Messengers.

Beloved brother in Islam, we understand and appreciate your position, and recognize that when one sincerely believes in something (even though it may be false), it is only natural that the person will try to defend his belief and abuse, and even fight with the one who says anything against his belief! But wisdom would be if one allows the other person to give his views; and if the views are acceptable to him, he should adopt them, and reject the views which are not acceptable to him.

Your Statement: It is well reknowned that only a snake is capable of biting its own guardian(je ane dudh pilaawe ahnej ei dusee le)
The biggest right of one who is created, is to his Creator; if one compromises to give the Creator His due Rights, then indeed one has done wrong!

Allah Says in the Holy Quran Chapter 2 Surah Baqarah verses 21-22:

21 O mankind! Worship your Guardian-Lord Who Created you and those who came before you; that ye may have the chance to learn righteousness.

22 Who has made the earth your couch, and the heaven your canopy; and sent down rain from the heavens; and brought forth therewith fruits for your sustenance; then set not up rivals unto Allah when ye know (the Truth).

Your Statement: You have betrayed the very important message of allah: that never harm the one who nurtures you. May be you have a different concept.
The absolute most important Message which Allah Subhanah sent with each and every one of his Prophets is: ‘Worship Allah Alone, and do not associate anything with Him.’ If one obeys this Message of Allah Subhanah, he has fulfilled his covenant with the Merciful Lord; but if one does everything else and does not obey this one all important Message, he has indeed betrayed his covenant with The Creator and Nurturer of the Worlds!

Beloved brother, you have obviously not stated who you think is the one that ‘nurtures’ us; maybe you think it is the self-invented sect leaders and priests whom we have left behind us, or our parents, or even the community, people, or nation where we were born and spend a portion of our lives. If, in your opinion, these or any other beings ‘nurtured’ us and we have betrayed them and their beliefs to accept and submit to the belief of the One and Only Lord and Nurturer of the Worlds, then we accept your accusation!

If our acceptance and submission to the Divine Message of Allah Subhanah and His Messenger (saws) means that we have betrayed the belief of our worldly ‘nurturers’, then we are absolutely guilty as charged.

The Messenger of Allah (saws) stated in an authentic narration: “There shall be no obedience to any created being, where the Creator is disobeyed!”

All Praise is due to Allah Subhanah Alone Who has guided us to the Truth of Al-Islam. It does not behove one who has been honored by Allah to be a believer to supercede the rights due to Allah Subhanah and give them to someone else!

Your Statement: One more thing rasulallah(swt) has said about muslim brethren, is that, never abase a fellow muslim, but thats exactly what you do by talking ill of the bohra muslims, taking the excerpts from quran.
The Quran and the Sunnah indeed guide the believers never to abuse or curse or abase others, and especially those who have accepted and submitted to the Guidance and Teachings of Allah and His Messenger (saws).

But if one claims to be a believer and a muslim, but finds it offensive to his beliefs to accept and submit to the clear guidance and teachings of the Quran and Sunnah; then it is our ardent prayer and desire that Allah Subhanah guide such a person to the Truth of Al-Islam, and open his heart to the Truth of the Quran and Sunnah.

Your Statement: Even Rasuallah(swt) himself never talked ill of bubakar(la`anaullah) in public although he knew he was bad.

Allah says Himself in the Holy Quran Chapter 59 Surah Hashr verse 8, in appreciation of the early companions of the Holy Prophet who migrated for Islam,:

They (the companions who migrated from Makkah to Medina) seek Allah’s bounty and His goodwill, and are ever ready to succor Allah and His Messenger. They indeed are the truthful.

Allah says in the Holy Quran Chapter 9 Surah Taubah verse 100:Allah was well pleased with those Muhajirs and Ansaar who were the first to respond to the invitation of the Faith, and with those also, who followed them in their righteous conduct, and they too, were well pleased with Allah. Allah has got ready for them Gardens, underneath which, canals flow, and they will abide therein for ever. This is the Greatest Success.

The Noble Companion and the lifelong friend of the Messenger of Allah (saws) on whom you have so callously and ignorantly invoked the curse of Allah Subhanah, is without an iota of a doubt amongst the first to accept Islam, and was amongst the foremost of the Muhajirs who migrated with the Messenger of Allah (saws) to Medina! Allah Subhanah has Himself in His Glorious Book honored and called those companions who migrated from Makkah to Medina, as the Truthful. Allah is pleased with them, but it is obvious that some ignorant people are dis-pleased with them almost 1400 years after their deaths! It indeed matters very little if these ignorant people are not happy with them, because Allah has got ready for them Gardens, underneath which canals flow, and He has promised that they will abide therein for ever!

Allah Says in the Holy Quran Chapter 9 Surah Taubah verse 40:If ye help not (your Prophet) (it is no matter): for Allah did indeed help him: when the unbelievers drove him out: he had no more than one companion (Hadrat Abu Bakr as-Siddiq (r.a.). They two were in the cave, and he said to his companion "have no fear, for Allah is with us". Then Allah sent down his peace upon him and strengthened him with forces which ye saw not; and humbled to the depths, the word of the unbelievers. But the Word of Allah is Exalted to the heights: for Allah is Exalted in Might, Wise.

In the above Aayah of the Glorious Quran, Allah Subhanah has referred to the incident when the Prophet (saws) and his companion were hiding in the cave during their flight from Makkah to Medina; and history has appropriately proved that this person, whom Allah Subhanah has Himself referred to as the Prophet’s Sahaabi or companion, was none other than Hadrat Abu Bakr as-Siddiq (r.a.)!

Those who dare to call themselves ‘muslims’, but are foremost in cursing and abusing the noble companions of the Messenger of Allah (saws) should fear the Day when Allah Subhanah will call them to account for the deeds on an Inevitable Day!

Sahih Muslim Hadith 6167 Narrated by Abu Hurayrah

The Messenger of Allah (saws) said: “Do not revile my Companions! Do not revile my Companions! By Him, in Whose Hand is my life, if one amongst you would have spent as much gold as Uhud, it would not amount to as much as one mudd on behalf of one of them, or half of it.”

Your Statement: Allah never gave the final authority to anyone to be the judge of others actions, and again, thats exactly what you do in your write-ups
All I can humbly say is: ‘Look who’s judging who?’!!!! My beloved brother, you have given your judgment without any evidence or proof on one of the noblest companion of the Messenger of Allah (saws) almost 1400 years after his death!

Indeed, Allah Subhanah has not given the final authority to anyone to judge others actions; but He has indeed, in His Sublime Mercy and Grace, revealed the Glorious Quran and made it a Criterion between the Truth and falsehood till the end of time! And the believers base our opinions on nothing except the Quran and the Sunnah.

Allah says in Chapter 2, Surah Baqarah aayat 185:"Ramadan is the month in which the Quran was sent down: this Book is a Perfect Guidance for mankind and consists of CLEAR Teachings which show the Right Way and are a Criterion of the Truth and falsehood."

Your Statement: Are you sure you are sinless? that you can pass remarks or advice on other bohrie/muslim brethren`s actions.
The Messenger of Allah (saws) said in an authentic narration: “All the children of Adam are sinners; and the best (or most loved) of the sinners in the sight of Allah are the ones who constantly seek His Forgiveness.”

There are none amongst the Children of Adam (except the infallible Prophets of Allah) who has not committed sins, and I unconditionally admit that I have sinned at probably every step of my life! I admit my confession of my innumerable sins to my Merciful Lord, and humbly plead and beg the Merciful Lord to accept our humble and weak efforts in the propagation of His Truth, have Mercy on us, and forgive us our sins.

Allah says in the Holy Quran Chapter 39 Surah Zumur verses 53-54:(O Prophet) say: “O My servants who have wronged their own souls….Do not despair of Allah’s Mercy! Surely, Allah forgives all sins. He indeed is the All Forgiving, All Merciful. Return to your Lord and submit to Him before the scourge overtakes you; for then you may get no help from anywhere.”

My beloved brother in Islam, we only wish to fulfill the duty that our Merciful Lord and Creator has laid upon the believers in the Glorious Quran. If we have said anything from the Quran and Sunnah which have challenged the beliefs of our Bohra brethren; then maybe it is time for our beloved brethren to re-align their beliefs with the clear guidance and teachings of the Glorious Quran and the Sunnah of the Messenger of Allah (saws).

Allah says in the Holy Quran: Chapter 16, Surah An-Nahl Ayat 125:Invite to the way of your Lord with wisdom and excellent admonition and argue with people in the best manner. Your Lord knows best who has gone astray from His Way and who is Rightly guided.

Allah Says in the Holy Quran Chapter 9 Surah Taubah verse 71: The believers, men and women, are protectors one of another: they enjoin what is just and forbid what is evil: they observe regular prayers, practice regular charity, and obey Allah and His Messenger. On them will Allah pour His Mercy: for Allah is Exalted in Power, Wise.

Allah Says in the Holy Quran Chapter 3 Surah Ale-Imraan verse 110: Ye (muslims) are the best of peoples evolved for mankind; enjoining what is right, forbidding what is wrong, and believing in Allah

My beloved brother in Islam, our intentions are not to hurt or accuse anyone or their beliefs; but our one and only intention is to declare the clear guidance and teachings of Allah and His Messenger (saws) to all who wish to listen to good caution. To accept or deny the Divine Message is a decision each individual will have to make for himself.

Allah says in the Holy Quran Chapter 18 Surah Kahf verse 29:Proclaim, “This (Quran) is the Truth from your Lord: now whosoever wills may accept it, and whosoever wills may reject it.” (As for those who reject it) We have prepared for such workers of iniquity a fire whose flames have encircled them. There, if they ask for water , they will be given a drink like the dregs of oil, which will burn their mouths! What an evil drink, and what an evil abode!

Your Statement: May allah guide you in the right direction fellow brother burhan

May Allah Subhanah reward you with the best in this world and the Hereafter for your kind supplications for me, and we pray that the Merciful Lord bestow His Mercy upon you and guide you, us, and all those who submit to Him to the Siraat-e-Mustaqeem. Ameen.

Whatever written of Truth and benefit is only due to Allah’s Assistance and Guidance, and whatever of error is of me. Allah Alone Knows Best and He is the Only Source of Strength.

Your brother in Islam,

Burhan
