In Islam, when a wife cannot give her husband a child due to some fault from her side the husband is given permission to re marry. What do women do if they are unable to have children due to their husbands infertility? (this is after all the treatment )

What do women do if they are unable to have children due to their husbands infertility?

In the name of Allah, We praise Him, seek His help and ask for His forgiveness. Whoever Allah guides none can misguide, and whoever He allows to fall astray, none can guide them aright. We bear witness that there is no one (no idol, no person, no grave, no prophet, no imam, no dai, nobody!) worthy of worship but Allah Alone, and we bear witness that Muhammad(saws) is His slave-servant and the seal of His Messengers.

The man in Islam does not need permission from his current wife, or anybody else to remarry, upto a maximum of four wives at any one time. This permission and allowance is given to the men in Islam, by Allah Subhanah Himself. Thus it is not a case that if the women is barren, only then the husband is given permission to remarry…. He is given permission by Allah Subhanah to remarry whenever he chooses.

If the husband is infertile, there is very little one can do other than to accept the Will and Decree of Allah Subhanah. In this case the women, who desires to have children; can either choose to adopt a child, or ask for a divorce from the husband.
