Mu' meneen Brothers
and Sisters,
As Salaam Aleikum wa
Rahmatullahi wa Barakatuh. (May Allah's Peace, Mercy and Blessings be
upon all of you)
One of our
brothers/sisters has asked this question:
Assalamu alaykum,
Dear brother..it is because I can understand Arabic that I know you text ayat
out of context and use them to prove you way of thinking. Hadith and
history were fabricated...and it is there authenticfication that prove one
versus the other. So when you say something is the hadith of the Prophet...it can just as well be
fabricated. You've admitted this yourself. So when you quoted a
hadith saying one thing and forget that just as authentic of history states
another where do you go?? Just because Sahih Bukhari or Muslim didn't put
in their collection doesn't mean something is still not authentic. The
history of the Imams is not in those collection but are in Hanbal, Tirmidhi, Nisai, Ibn Kathir,
Tabarsi, etc.
And a statement from Hz. Ali is just like one from the
Prophet. If it is authentic, whether hadith or history, it is still
authentic. It is one thing to quoted from a translation of the Quran, but
it is another to say this hadith is right and this history is wrong...when both
are authentic.
(There may be some
grammatical and spelling errors in the above statement. The forum does not

In the
name of Allah, We praise Him, seek His help and ask for His forgiveness.
Whoever Allah guides none can misguide, and who-ever He allows to fall astray,
none can guide them aright. We bear witness that there is no one (no idol, no
person, no grave, no prophet, no imam, no dai, nobody!) worthy of worship but
Allah Alone, and we bear witness that Muhammad (saws) is His slave-servant and
the seal of His Messengers.
Brother, we absolutely agree
with you, that the collections of hadiths and the documentation of history is
the work of man, and therefore open to error.
Allah has commanded us to follow the Holy Quran, and all the muslims are
unanimous that this Book is unchanged since its inception. Besides Allah Himself has guaranteed the
safekeeping and accuracy of this Glorious Book. This is the Book which Allah
has revealed for our guidance, and for all matters of guidance we need not go
into the hadith or history collections; for the Quran is more than
sufficient. If at times we differ in
hadiths or history, lets decide according to the guidance of the Holy Quran.
Allah says in the Holy Quran Chapter 3 Surah Ale-Imraan verse
64:Say, “O people of the Scriptures, come to what is common between us and you,
that we shall worship none but Allah;
that we shall associate nothing with Him; and that none of us shall make as our Lord any other than
Allah.” If they reject your
invitation, then tell them plainly, “Bear witness that we are those who
surrender to Allah Alone.”
Allah has commanded that we
follow Allah and His Messenger (saws). Allah has never commanded the believers
to follow the History of the Muslims, or the History of the Imams! And besides, no imam, no dai, no bhai
saheb, no aamil, absolutely no one has the right to change the ‘deen’ or any
aspect of what has been declared by Allah and His Messenger (saws). Thus whatever the pious imams said, it has
to be in accordance with the Quran and Sunnah.
No one has the right to add or remove anything from the deen of Islam,
which was revealed and lived by the Messenger of Allah (saws).
To
be fair with you, you give us the name/s of the book/s which you think are
accurate and authentic in Muslim History.
That way we can come to a common ground in our discussions.
Whatever written of Truth and
benefit is only due to Allah’s Assistance and Guidance, and whatever of error
is of me. Allah Alone Knows Best and He
is the Only Source of Strength.
Your
brother and well wisher in Islam,
Burhan
