Answer:

Syedna is the speaking Qur’an

In the name of Allah, We praise Him, seek His help and ask for His forgiveness. Whoever Allah guides none can misguide, and who-ever He allows to fall astray, none can guide them aright. We bear witness that there is no one (no idol, no person, no grave, no prophet, no imam, no dai, nobody!) worthy of worship but Allah Alone, and we bear witness that Muhammad (saws) is His slave-servant and the seal of His Messengers.

Allah says in the Holy Quran Chapter 4 Surah Nisa verse 79-80: We have sent you (O Mohamed) as a Messenger to mankind, and Allah’s witness suffices for this. Whoever obeys the Messenger, in fact obeys Allah, and whoever turns away from him, he will be accountable for his deeds. Anyhow, we have not sent you (O Mohamed) to be a guardian over them.

Allah says in the Holy Quran Chapter 3 Surah Ale Imran verse 31-32: Prophet, tell the people, “If you sincerely love Allah, follow me. Then Allah will love you and forgive you your sins, for He is All Forgiving, All Merciful.” Also say to them, “Obey Allah and His Messenger.” And if, in spite of this, they do not accept your invitation, warn them that Allah does not love those, who refuse to obey Him and His Messenger.

We are clearly commanded by Allah Subhanah in the Glorious Quran to obey Allah and His Messenger (saws). Allah sent Prophet Mohamed (saws) as the Last and Final Messenger, and made a duty on anyone who wants to be guided aright to obey and follow this Messenger (saws).

Only the Prophets are appointed by Allah. The imams, the dais, the walis, the syednas, the mazoons, the aamils, etc. are all chosen or appointed by man himself. These people are not appointed by Allah. If any of these people in authority obey Allah and His Messenger (saws), then it is fine to follow them in those things. But if any one of them goes against any clear commandment of Allah and His Messenger (saws), and start introducing new innovations in this deen of Islam, it should be immediately rejected, if indeed one’s intention is to follow Allah and His Messenger (saws). We have the Quran in its original form, and the Sunnah of the Messenger of Allah (saws) is aptly documented. There is no third source of guidance in Islam, and nor is it needed; because the deen of Islam was completely revealed before the death of the Messenger (saws).

The clear Message of the Glorious Quran is in front of us, and the deen of Islam was clearly explained in detail by the Messenger of Allah (saws) to all the believers. Brother this Islam is not some mythology, where the belief is one four-year old imam is in hiding and corresponds with the current Dai through ‘ilhaam’ or dreams! This sort of beliefs are alien to Islam and its guidance. Neither is there any evidence for this sort of belief from the Quran, nor from the Sunnah of the Last Messenger (saws). These are the whims and fancies of people, who have made up their stories in the name of Islam. By circulating these sort of stories, some unscrupulous people have made themselves and their families supreme and divine, and subjugated the common people and made them spiritually bankrupt! One has to only read the Glorious Quran with understanding, to understand the reality and deceit of these kinds of leaders. They have taken away the guidance of the Quran from the common people and have led them to mis-guidance; they have concealed the clear commandments of the Holy Quran for paltry worldly gains.

Allah says in the Holy Quran Chapter 2 Surah Al-Baqarah verse 174: Indeed those, who conceal the commands that Allah has sent down in His Book and barter them away for paltry worldly gains, fill their bellies with fire. Allah will not speak to them on the Day of Resurrection, nor will He regard them as pure and there is a painful torment for them!

Allah says in the Holy Quran Chapter 9 Surah Taubah verses 34-35: O you who believe! There are indeed many among the priests and the holy men who devour the wealth of others by evil means, and debar the people from the Way of Allah. Give them the good news of a painful torment, who hoard up gold and silver and do not expend these in the Way of Allah. The Day shall surely come when the same gold and silver shall be heated in the fire of Hell, and with it will be branded their foreheads, their bodies and their backs. (And it will be said): “Here is that treasure you had hoarded up for yourselves! Taste now the evil of your hoarded treasure!”

My beloved brother, if you read and understand the Holy Quran, Allah will guide you to differentiate between the Truth and the falsehood. If you understand and implement this Truth in your lifetime, you will be saved on the Day of Qiyaamah. If you insist on following some Personalities as your deen, without having any authority from Allah, then you yourself will be responsible for your deeds in the Court of Allah. All the promises made by Allah and His Messenger (saws) will come true. And all the promises made by these unscrupulous Personalities will be nothing but falsehood in the Court of Allah. The choice you have to make is whether to believe Allah and His Messenger (saws), or believe in these self-appointed holy men.

There are many fallacies that these unscrupulous leaders have implanted in the minds of the common people, and one amongst them is that in each age or generation, there is a Messenger appointed by Allah. The Last Messenger of Allah was Prophet Mohamed (saws), and there is no Messenger after him. For our age and for every generation until the Day of Judgement, all those who follow the Last Messenger (saws) will be the ones who are promised the mercy of Allah.

Allah says in the Holy Quran in Chapter 7 Surah Al-Ara’af verse 157: So, now Mercy has been assigned to those who follow this Messenger, the unlettered Prophet, whose mention they shall find in the Torah and the Gospel. He (Mohamed (saws)) enjoins them to do good and forbids them for evil. He makes pure things ‘halaal’ for them and impure things ‘haraam’. He relieves them of their burdens and frees them from the shackles that they bound themselves with (of customs and pagan rituals).

If you indeed are made to believe that every age or generation must have a guide or a rahbar, then please declare who was the guide or rahbar just before the birth of the Last Messenger (saws). If what you claim is indeed true, then there has to be a person alive before the birth of Prophet Mohamed (saws), who was responsible to guide the Quraish of Makkah to the Right Path.

The truth is brother, the polytheist Quraish believed that they were following the deen of Prophet Abraham who had died approximately 6000 years before the birth of Prophet Mohamed (saws). Obviously, they or their supposed holy men had changed the deen of Prophet Abraham, and when Mohamed was appointed the Messenger of Allah (saws), they opposed him and accused him of changing the deen of Prophet Abraham (a.s.).

Today, the only guide we need and have is the Holy Quran and the traditions of the Messenger of Allah (saws). No one has the sole monopoly or authority to claim that ‘he’ has been appointed by Allah to teach the Quran alone! The clear guidance of the Quran is amongst us… whoever follows it will attain true success. Whoever follows any other personality without any authority from Allah, will deserve His Wrath and Anger!

Our duty was to invite you to the clear guidance of the Glorious Quran and the traditions of the Last Messenger of Allah (saws). We cannot, and do not force our opinions on anyone. If what we say from the Holy Quran appeals to your understanding, fine; if not, you have been given the intelligence and free will from Allah for an appointed time and are free to chose the path you wish to follow.

May Allah guide you and us all to the Straight Path of Islam.

Whatever written of Truth and benefit is only due to Allah’s Assistance and Guidance, and whatever of error is of me. Allah Alone Knows Best and He is the Only Source of Strength.

May Allah guide you and us all to the Siraat al-Mustaqeem

Your brother and well wisher in Islam,

Burhan
