Shaykh ‘Abd al-‘Azeez ibn Baaz (may Allaah have mercy on him) was asked this question and he said:
If there is the hope that the general interest will be served by filming the party, conference or meeting in which people are called to Allaah, and if it is thought that this will do more good than harm and that this will have good consequences and benefit the people, then there is nothing wrong with that in sha Allah.”
Whatever written of Truth and benefit is only due to Allah's Assistance and Guidance, and whatever of error is of me. Allah Alone Knows Best and He is the Only Source of Strength.
