She experienced irregular vaginal bleeding and thought it was her period, so she did not do Tawaaf al-Wadaa’ (Farewell Tawaaf)

Dear Brothers & Sisters,
As-Salaamu-Alaikum wa Rahmatullahi wa Barakatuh. (May Allah's Peace, Mercy and Blessings be upon all of you)
One of our brothers/sisters has asked this question:
When she wanted to do Tawaaf al-Wadaa’, she found that she was bleeding, and she thought it was her period. After she had returned home, she realized that she was pregnant and that the bleeding was irregular bleeding. Does she have to do anything?

Answer:

Praise be to Allaah.

We put this question to Shaykh Muhammad ibn Saalih al-‘Uthaymeen, may Allaah preserve him, who answered as follows:

She does not have to do anything. And Allaah knows best.

Whatever written of Truth and benefit is only due to Allah's Assistance and Guidance, and whatever of error is of me. Allah Alone Knows Best and He is the Only Source of Strength.
