Answer:

Jesus Alive and Mohamed Dead

In the name of Allah, We praise Him, seek His help and ask for His  forgiveness. Whoever Allah guides none can misguide, and whoever He allows to fall astray, none can guide them aright. We bear witness that there is no one (no idol, no person, no grave, no prophet, no imam, no dai, nobody!) worthy of worship but Allah Alone, and we bear witness that Muhammad(saws) is His slave-servant and the seal of His Messengers.

Life and death are decreed by Allah Subhanah Alone, and it was His Decree that Prophet Jesus (a.s.) should be raised up alive at a particular time, and be sent back to earth at a later time; and it is was His Decree that Prophet Mohamed (saws) meet with his natural appointment of death. Just because Prophet Jesus (a.s.) was raised up alive to the heavens, and Prophet Mohamed (saws) died a simple death, does not make one better than the other.

Allow us to relate an example to give you a logical explanation that one who is alive is not necessarily of higher position in the sight of Allah, than one who is dead:

The mother of Prophet Jesus (a.s.), Mariam, is probably one the best and most righteous woman who ever walked on this planet earth. And she died a natural death.

My own mother is alive. Does that mean that my mother is better than Hadrat Mariam, simply because my mother is alive, and Hadrat Mariam is dead?

The answer is obviously, no!

Whatever written of Truth and benefit is only due to Allah’s Assistance and Guidance, and whatever of error is of me. Allah Alone Knows Best and He is the Only Source of Strength.

Your Brother in Islam,

Burhan
