Tablighi jamaat
Mu' meneen Brothers
and Sisters,
As Salaam Aleikum wa
Rahmatullahi wa Barakatuh. (May Allah's Peace, Mercy and Blessings be
upon all of you)
One of our
brothers/sisters has asked this question:
Salaam Alaikum
Burhan Bhai,
Burhan Bhai I
would like to send you a book (in Urdu) which I feel a sincere Alim like you
must study and speak the truth therafter. I am not sure whether you have read
the book " Tablighi Jamaat - Taariq - Akhaid" (Tablighi Jamaat -
History and Beliefs) by Dr. Syed Taalib Ur Rahman. Blood of every Muslim with
little knowledge of Islam would boil once he reads this book. The critic
has brought to fore the poison this Jamaat is spreading amongst the
innocent of the Ummah.
I hope you have
read it, if not give me the postal address where I can send this book for you.
InshAllah I will send it you at the earliest. Hope Allah (SWT) honours you with
the privilige of exposing Shirk these people are spreading in the name of Islam
and brings back to Deen those who have become victims of this Jamaat.
May Allah (SWT)
save us all from Shirk and guide us to Siraat Al Mustaqeem.
(There may be some
grammatical and spelling errors in the above statement. The forum does not

Answer:
Tablighi jamaat
In the name of Allah, We praise Him, seek His help and ask
for His forgiveness. Whoever Allah guides none can misguide, and whoever
He allows to fall astray, none can guide them aright. We bear witness that
there is no one (no idol, no
person, no grave, no prophet, no imam,
no dai, nobody!) worthy of
worship but Allah Alone, and we bear witness that Muhammad(saws) is His
slave-servant and the seal of His Messengers.
My
beloved brother, the truth is that I
have not read the mentioned book, and
unfortunately I cannot read Urdu as a language. What I will try to do is get a copy of the book in the English
language if available, and Insha
Allah, read it.
Brother, the duty of the believers should always be
to declare and make clear the Truth of the Quran and Sunnah to whoever wants to
listen to good caution, no matter what
religion, or creed, or sect he might claim he belongs to. Once we declare the Truth from the Quran
and Sunnah with sincere intentions, the
falsehood will become evident to the people who follow falsehood, for nothing remains after the Truth except
falsehood.
If one tries to list the number
of ways one practices falsehood, or
shirk, or innovations, etc.;
it would be practically impossible to compile such a list! When one goes to buy something, and has the opportunity to compare the
original and the fake, a person with
simple common-sense will be able to differentiate between them! One may compare a fake product to another
fake product, and may decide one fake
is better than the other fake; but only
when one sees and experiences the original product will one realize the real
difference between the original and the fake! There might be any number of fakes, but the original product will always be one and the same!
Therefore, the believers should use their energies in
propagating the Truth from the Quran and Sunnah to all who care to listen to
good caution; for when one sees and
realizes the Truth of the Quran and Sunnah,
the Truth will stand clear of all the falsehood.
Allah says in the Holy
Quran Chapter 17 Surah Bani Israel verse 81:And declare, “The Truth has come
and falsehood has vanished. And
falsehood is a thing that must by its nature, vanish!”
Because if we start declaring so
and so sect is wrong, and so and so
people are false, it will create
nothing but ‘fitnah’ and animosity between mankind; but when we say that Allah and His Messenger (saws) declare that people who do such and such
deeds are right, and people who do such
and such deeds are wrong…then the chances of the people accepting the Truth are
much higher.
Whatever written of Truth and
benefit is only due to Allah’s Assistance and Guidance, and whatever of error
is of me. Allah Alone Knows Best and He
is the Only Source of Strength.
Your Brother in
Islam,
Burhan
