I want to ask that if a muslim said that whenever Allah talk about hazrat Ibrahim in Quran,he always talk very politly and with more love then other prophets.Is it right?second what about a muslim who obey all allah`s order which mention in quran and offer five times prays daily, believe on last prophet muhammad (p.b.u.h) but he said that he feel more affection to hazrat Ibrahim more that hazrat muhammad because Allah called him his friend.he said that I have no control on my heart what I do?please tell is this right or if it is not then plz tell what he do to get rid from these types of thinking?plz guide him because it is a very sensitive issue.

Love Ibrahim(a.s.) more than prophet(saws)

In the name of Allah, We praise Him, seek His help and ask for His forgiveness. Whoever Allah guides none can misguide, and whoever He allows to fall astray, none can guide them aright. We bear witness that there is none worthy of worship but Allah Alone, and we bear witness that Muhammad (saws) is His slave-servant and the seal of His Messengers.

Allah Says in the Holy Quran Chapter 37 Surah Saaffat verses 83-84:

83 Verily among those who followed his Way was Ibraheem.

84 Behold! He (ever) approached his Lord with a sound heart.

Allah Says in the Holy Quran Chapter 11 Surah Hud verse 75:

75 For Ibraheem was without doubt forbearing (of faults), compassionate, and given to look to Allah.

Allah Says in the Holy Quran Chapter 19 Surah Maryam verse 41:

41 Also mention in the Book (the story of) Ibraheem: he was a man of Truth, a Prophet.

Allah Says in the Holy Quran Chapter 2 Baqarah verses 130-131:

130 And who turns away from the religion of Ibraheem but such as debase their souls with folly? Him (Ibraheem) We chose, and rendered pure in this world: and he will be in the Hereafter in the ranks of the righteous.

131 Behold! His Lord said to him: "Bow (thy will to me)" He said: "I bow (my will) to the Lord and Cherisher of the Universe."

Allah Says in the Holy Quran Chapter 16 Surah Nahl verses 120-122:

120 Ibraheem was indeed an example, devoutly obedient to Allah (and), true in faith; and he joined not gods with Allah:

121 He showed his gratitude for the favors of Allah, Who chose him and guided him to a Straight Way.

122 And We gave him good in this world and he will be in the Hereafter in the ranks of the righteous.

Allah Says in the Holy Quran Chapter 6 Surah Anaam verse 161:

161 Say: "Verily my Lord hath guided me to a Way that is Straight; a religion of Right, the Path (trod) by Ibraheem, the true in faith; and he (certainly) joined not gods with Allah."

Allah Says in the Holy Quran Chapter 4 Surah Nisaa verse 125:

125 Who can be better in religion than one who submits his whole self to Allah does good and follows the way of Ibraheem, the true in Taith? For Allah did take Ibraheem for a friend.

If one studies the Glorious Quran, one would find that the Lord Most Gracious mentions and appropriately honors each and every one of His pious and noble Prophets…..but it would not be entirely incorrect to state that the rank of the fore-father of most of Prophets mentioned in the Quran, The true in Faith, the man of Truth, Hadrat Ibraheem (a.s.) has a lofty and honorable rank in the Sight of Allah Subhanah….for it is not a casual occurrence when the Lord Creator, Exalted and High, Glorified Majestic and Supreme, Himself, takes one amongst his creation to be his ‘Khaleel’ or intimate and chosen friend!

May Allah shower His Choicest Blessings, Mercies and Peace upon His Noble Prophet and Messenger, ‘Al-Khaleel ur-Rahmaan’ (the intimate and chosen friend of the Most Gracious)…Syedna Ibraheem alayhis-salaam…..and all His appointed Prophets altogether. Ameen.

It is one amongst the fundamental articles of ‘emaan’ or faith in Islam to believe in the appointment of every single Prophet of Allah Subhanah…to love them, to honor them, to revere them, to respect them, to cherish them, to salute them.

Allah Subhanah has bestowed special favors upon each of His Messengers….Hadrat Adam (a.s.) He created with His own Hands; He delivered Hadrat Nuh (a.s.) from the disbelievers; He Spoke to Hadrat Musa (a.s.) in person; He gave kingdoms to Hadrat Dawood (a.s.) and Hadrat Sulaimaan (a.s.) the likes of which were not given to any before or after them; He bestowed untold, unimaginable, and unprecedented miracles upon His Noble Prophet Isa ibn Maryam (a.s.); He chose and appointed Hadrat Ibraheem (a.s.) as His ‘khaleel’; and He chose and appointed Prophet Mohamed (saws)….an absolutely humble, orphan, Ummi, Arab, as His Last and Final Messenger, whose mission would last until the end of time…and appointed him, (Prophet Mohamed (saws)) as the ‘Imaam’ of all the Prophets.

It is only natural and an extension of one’s faith as a true believer, that whenever the name or the stories or the incidents of one amongst these most pious of souls is mentioned amongst them, their hearts soften towards their exemplary obedience, their unabated worship, and the innumerable trials, afflictions, and sacrifices each and every one amongst them faced in their unwavering service of their Lord Most Gracious.

When one hears the name or the incidents of a particular Prophet of Allah, there is absolutely no harm if a believers heart feels more affection towards that particular Prophet at that time or moment….but one should abstain from comparing or competing one amongst these most pious of souls to another amongst these most pious of souls! Asking one’s heart regarding which Noble Prophet of Allah holds more affection, is like asking one’s heart which of one’s two eyes is the most beloved!!

It would not be piety and righteousness for the believers, who believe and love and respect and revere and cherish each and every single one of these most pious slaves of Allah…..to make comparisons or competitions or distinctions between them!

Allah Says in the Holy Quran Chapter 2 Surah Baqarah verse 285:

285 The Messenger (Mohamed (saws)) believes in what has been revealed to him from his Lord, as do the men of faith. Each one (of them) believes in Allah, (all) His Angels, (all) His Books and (all) His Messengers. "We make absolutely no distinction (they say) between one and another of His Messengers.” And they say: "We hear and we obey; (We seek) Thy forgiveness O Our Lord; and to Thee is the end of all journeys."

Allah Says in the Holy Quran Chapter 4 Surah Nisaa verses 150-152:

150 Those who deny Allah and his Messengers, and (those who) wish to separate Allah from His Messengers, saying: "We believe in some but reject others": and (those who) wish to take a course midway.

151 They are in truth (equally) unbelievers; and We have prepared for unbelievers a humiliating punishment.

152 To those who believe in Allah and His Messengers, and make absolutely no distinction between any of the Messengers, We shall soon give their (due) rewards: for Allah is Oft-Forgiving Most Merciful.

Allah Says in the Holy Quran Chapter 3 Surah Ale Imraan verse 84:

84 Say: "We believe in Allah and in what has been revealed to us, and what was revealed to Ibraheem, Ismail, Ishaaq, Yaqoob and the Tribes, and in (Books) given to Musa, Isa, and the Prophets from their Lord; we make absolutely no distinction between one and another among them; and to Allah do we bow our will (in Islam)."

If one trusts, obeys, and follows the guidance and commands of Allah and His Messenger (saws), one can be assured of never ever being misled; but if one believes, obeys and follows any other guidance, other than that of Allah and His Messenger (saws), one can be assured of being led astray.

Whatever written of Truth and benefit is only due to Allah’s Assistance and Guidance, and whatever of error is of me alone. Allah Alone Knows Best and He is the Only Source of Strength.
