Please tell me how can I convince some people like dawoodi bohras who are following the shaytaan in human form the the leader of their foolish belief.
Mu' meneen Brothers and Sisters,
As Salaam Aleikum wa Rahmatullahi wa Barakatuh.
(May Allah's Peace, Mercy and Blessings be upon all of you)
One of our brothers/sisters has asked
this question:
Please
tell me how can I convince some people like dawoodi bohras who are following
the shaytaan in human form the the leader of their foolish belief. How can he certify Jannat with an amount of a few lakhs.
Isn`t it plain foolishness by human beings who follow him. Our religion is very
much crystal clear that our beloved Rasool (PBUH) was the last messenger and
Allah the Supreme Most Gracious Raheem Rahman can only give us Jannat. I would
request you to advise in the light of Quran and Sunnah / Hadith that these
people and the shias are going in a direction which is short and sweet but will
lead them to hell if there belief remains on that crook.

Answer:
How to convince
bohras
In the name of Allah, We praise Him, seek His
help and ask for His forgiveness. Whoever Allah guides none can misguide,
and whoever He allows to fall astray, none can guide them aright. We bear
witness that there is none worthy of worship but Allah Alone, and we bear
witness that Muhammad (saws) is His slave-servant and the seal of His
Messengers.
Respected brother in Islam, as much as ‘shirk’
(associating other deities with Allah Subhanah) may seem absolutely absurd and
the utmost foolishness to the one whom Allah Subhanah has blessed to open their
heart to the understanding of the wise guidance and dictates of the Glorious
Quran….for one who is born and raised surrounded by people whom he trusts, and
he sees them bowing down unto men and graves, or who believe and make him
believe that Paradise can only be obtained through the unconditional obedience
and even worship of some self-proclaimed ‘holy men’ and ‘priests’, etc….for
such people the doing of ‘shirk’ might seem normal and acceptable….until
of-course, they encounter the wise counsel of the Very Words of Allah Subhanah,
the Glorious Quran!
Allah says in the Holy Quran Chapter 39 Surah Zumur verse 2-3:
So worship Allah Alone, making your religion His exclusively. Beware!
Religion is the exclusive Right of Allah. As for those who have taken other ‘auliyas’
with Allah (and justify their this conduct by saying): “We serve them only that
they may bring us closer to Allah.” Allah will surely judge between them
concerning all that in which they differ.
Allah does not show guidance to any liar and denier of the Truth.
Allah says in the Holy Quran Chapter 46 Surah
Ahqaf verses 4-6:
O Prophet, say to them, "Have you ever seen
them with open eyes those whom you invoke instead of Allah? Show me what they
have created in the earth? Or have they any share in the creation and control
of the heavens? Bring me a Book revealed before this, or produce some remnant
of knowledge in support of your beliefs if you are truthful." And who
could be further astray than the one who invokes, instead of Allah, those who
cannot answer him till the Day of Resurrection. Nay, they are even UNAWARE THAT
THEY ARE BEING INVOKED. And when all mankind shall be gathered together (on the
Day of Qiyamah), they (the so called leaders and intercessors) will become
enemies of those who invoked them and they will DISOWN THEIR WORSHIP!!!
Allah says in the Holy Quran Chapter 10 Surah Yunus
verse 18:
These people serve beside Allah those which can
neither harm nor benefit them, and say, “These are our ‘shofa’a’ (intercessors)
with Allah!” (O Mohammed), tell them,
“Do you wish to inform Allah of that thing which He knows not in the heavens,
or in the earth?” He is absolutely free
from, and exalted above the shirk that
they commit.
Allah says in the Holy Quran Chapter 33 Surah
Ahzab verse 66-68:
On the Day their faces are rolled about on the
Fire, they will say, “Would that we had
obeyed Allah and His Messenger!” And
they will say, “O our Lord, we obeyed
our CHIEFS and our GREAT MEN, and they led us astray from the Right Path. O our Lord,
give them a double chastisment and curse them severely”.
Allah says in the Holy Quran Chapter16 Surah
Nahl verses 86-87:
When the people who had committed shirk in this
world will see those whom they had made associates with Allah, they will say, “Our Lord, here are those associate-deities whom we used
to invoke besides You.” At this their
deities will retort, “You are liars!” At
that time, all of them will proffer
submission before Allah, and all that
they used to forge in this world shall vanish from them.
Allah says in the Holy Quran Chapter 18 Surah
Kahf verse 102:
What? Do
these people, who have disbelieved, presume that they would make My servants
their ‘auliyaas’ besides Me? We have
prepared Hell for the hospitality of such people.
Allah says in the Holy Quran Chapter 35 Surah
Fatir verses 40:
Say,
“Have you ever seen those associates of yours whom you invoke besides
Allah? Tell me: What have they created in the earth, or what is their share in the heavens? Have We given them a Book, from which they derive a clear sanction (for
their shirk)”. Nay! These wicked people are only beguiling one
another with nothing, but delusion.
Allah says in the Holy Quran Chapter 6 Surah
Anam verse 94:
(And Allah will say), “So, you have come before Us all alone, as We created you at first. Now,
you have left behind all that We gave you in the world. Now We do not see with you those
‘shufa’a’(intercessors), who, you believed,
had a share in moulding your destinies!
All the relations between you and them have been cut off, and all those, in whom you trusted, have left you in the lurch.”
Allah says in the Holy Quran Chapter 2 Surah
Baqarah verse 48:
And guard yourselves against the Day when no one
shall avail anyone else; nor shall
‘shafa’a’ (intercession) be accepted
from anyone; nor shall anyone be
acquitted for any amount of ransom; nor shall the guilty ones be helped from
any quarter.
Allah says in the Holy Quran Chapter 40 Surah Mumin verse 18:
O Prophet, warn them of the Day that has
approached near, when the hearts will
leap up to the throats and the people will be standing mute, grief-stricken; and the wrong-doers will neither have any
kindly friend nor any ‘shafaa’ (intercessor) who may be listened to.
Allah says in the Holy Quran Chapter 40 Surah
Mumin verse 47-48:
Then imagine the time when these people will be
disputing with one another in Hell. The
weak ones will say to the haughty ones, “We were your followers! Now,
can you save us from some part of our punishment in Hell?” The haughty ones will say, “We are all in
the same state here, and Allah has
already passed judgment between His servants.”
Allah says in the Holy Quran Chapter 41 Surah Ha
Meem Sajdah verse 47-48:
Then on the Day when Allah will call out to the
people asking, “Where are those associates of Mine?” They will say, “We have submitted: there is none of us to bear witness to
that.” At that time, all those deities whom they used to invoke
before this, shall be lost to them, and they will realize that they have no
refuge.
Allah says in the Holy Quran Chapter 2 Surah
Baqarah verse 170-171:
When it is said to them, “Follow the Commands
that Allah has sent down”, they reply,
“We will follow only what we found our forefathers practising.” Well,
will they go on following their forefathers even though they did not use
common sense and did not find the
Allah says in the Holy Quran Chapter 31 Surah Luqman verse 21:
And when it is said to them, “Follow what Allah
has sent down”, they say, “We shall only
follow that upon which we found our forefathers.” What!
Will they still be following them even if Shaitaan had been calling them
to the raging Fire?
Your
Question: Please tell me how can I convince some people like dawoodi bohras who
are following the shaytaan in human form the the leader of their foolish
belief.
Allah says in the Holy
Quran: Chapter 16, Surah An-Nahl Ayat 125:
Invite to the way of
your Lord with wisdom and excellent admonition and argue with people in the
best manner. Your Lord knows best who has gone astray from His Way and who is
Rightly guided.
Respected brother, in our humble opinion, the absolute
best way to convince a person who is misguided is to somehow persuade them to
read with understanding the Glorious Book which none but the Lord Creator
Himself has revealed for the Guidance of mankind…even if only once….if indeed
they wish to guide themselves to the Straight Path of the Lord, and their Lord
has Mercy on them and Wills to open their heart to His Guidance, they
themselves will admit that all along they and their forefathers were involved
in nothing but manifest ‘shirk’!
My dear and beloved brother in Islam, we remind you as we
remind ourselves, our duty is only to invite to the Way of the Lord Most
Gracious, with wisdom, with excellent admonition, and argue with them only in
the best of manners…..to accept or reject the invitation is entirely upto the
individual themselves. If one in their
ignorance, or albeit arrogance, chooses to reject, or deny, or ridicule, or
mock or make excuses in making the necessary striving to understand the
Glorious Book of Guidance, he would do so at his own peril and loss.
Allah says in the Holy Quran Chapter 6 Surah
Anaam verse 125:
The hearts of those
whom Allah wills to guide, He opens to Islam.
Allah says in the Holy Quran Chapter 28 Surah
Qasas verse 56:
You cannot guide whom you love, but Allah guides
whomever He Pleases. And He best knows
those who would accept Guidance.
Had our misguided brethren only known, or they take the
striving necessary and understand for themselves from the Glorious Quran….they
would distance themselves from their false beliefs, and practices of ‘shirk’,
and the unconditional obedience and worship of their self-proclaimed ‘holy-men’
and ‘priests’ just as one would distance oneself from a pit of scorching fire!
Allah says in the Holy Quran Chapter 9 Surah
Taubah verse 31:
They have made their scholars and their monks as
their Rabbs besides Allah!
Allah says in the Holy Quran Chapter 66 Surah
Tahreem verse 6:
O you who have believed, save yourselves and your families from a Fire
whose fuel shall be men and stones; over
which shall be appointed fierce and stern Angels, who never disobey Allah’s Command, and they only do as they are commanded!
Whatever written of Truth and benefit is only
due to Allah’s Assistance and Guidance, and whatever of error is of me
alone. Allah Alone Knows Best and He is
the Only Source of Strength.
Your brother and
well wisher in Islam,
Burhan
