Mu' meneen Brothers and Sisters,
As Salaam Aleikum wa Rahmatullahi wa Barakatuh.
(May Allah's Peace, Mercy and Blessings be upon all of you)
One of our brothers/sisters has asked this question:
THE
BELOW HADITH IS WEAK. THIS IS MADE UP BY MALE DOMINATED ARAB SOCIETY.
CORRECT
HADITH: A HUSBAND MUST BE PATIENT AND BE MINDFUL OF THE WIFE`S STATE OF
HE
MUST NEVER DEMAND SELFISHLY WHENEVER HE WANTS - PATIENCE IS A DIVINE VIRTUE

MOHAMMED
CORRUPTED
HADITH:
Prophet
(peace be upon him) said, "When a man calls his wife to satisfy his desire
(ie. sexual intercourse) she must go to him even if she is occupied at the

(There may be some grammatical and spelling
errors in the above statement. The forum does not change anything from
questions, comments and statements received from our readers for circulation in

Answer:
ascribe attribute lies to prophet (saws)
In the name of Allah, We praise Him, seek His help and ask
for His forgiveness. Whoever Allah guides none can misguide, and whoever
He allows to fall astray, none can guide them aright. We bear witness that
there is none worthy of worship but Allah Alone, and we bear witness that
Muhammad (saws) is His slave-servant and the seal of His Messengers.
Al-Tirmidhi Hadith 3257 Narrated by Talq ibn Ali
Allah's Messenger (saws) said, "When a
man calls his wife to satisfy his desire she must go to him even if she is
occupied at the oven!"
Sahih Al-Bukhari Hadith 4.460 Narrated by Abu Huraira
Allah's Messenger (saws) said, "If a
husband calls his wife to his bed (i.e. to have sexual relation) and she
refuses and causes him to sleep in anger, the Angels will curse her till
morning."
Dear and beloved brother in Islam, as much as the arrogant
and the ignorant might like to believe that the above quoted guidance of the
Messenger of Allah (saws) may be ‘politically incorrect’ in this day and
age….the above quoted guidance is indeed considered absolutely authentic according
to the scholars of ahaadeeth, and the guidance of the above hadiths is in
absolute accordance with the guidance of the Glorious Quran:
Allah Says in the Holy Quran Chapter 2 Surah
Baqarah verse 223:
223 Your wives are as a tilth unto you; so approach
your tilth when or how ye will.
Your Statement:
CORRECT HADITH: A HUSBAND MUST BE PATIENT AND BE MINDFUL OF THE WIFE`S STATE OF
PROPHET MOHAMMED
Beloved and respected brother in Islam, to the best of our
knowledge, we have not come across any authentic narration in the recorded
Sunnah of the Messenger of Allah (saws) which even remotely implies or
corresponds to the statement quoted above as the ‘correct hadith’.
We would really appreciate if you could kindly furnish us with
the reference number, name of the narrators, name of the recorder, or the name
of the book where the above supposed ‘correct hadith’ quoted is recorded.
Beloved and respected brother, we remind you as we remind
ourselves, that one must be extremely careful when ascribing something to the
Noble Messenger of Allah (saws); for those who invent something from themselves
and attribute it to the Noble Prophet (saws) will have a grievous penalty
indeed!
Sahih Al-Bukhari Hadith 4.667 Narrated by Abdullah bin Amr
The Prophet (saws) said ‘Whoever tells a lie
on me intentionally, will surely take his place in the (Hell) Fire."
Sahih Al-Bukhari Hadith 1.109 Narrated by Salama
I heard the Prophet (saws) saying,
"Whoever (intentionally) ascribes to me what I have not said then (surely)
let him occupy his seat in Hell-fire."
Sahih Al-Bukhari Hadith 8.217 Narrated by Abu Huraira
The Prophet (saws) said, "Whoever
intentionally ascribes something to me falsely, he will surely take his place
in the (Hell) Fire.”
If one trusts, obeys, and follows the guidance and
commands of Allah and His Messenger (saws),
one can be assured of never ever being misled; but if one believes, obeys and follows any
other guidance, other than that of Allah and His Messenger (saws), one can be
assured of being led astray.
Allah says in the Holy Quran Chapter 33 Surah
Ahzaab verse 36:
It does not behove a believing man and a
believing woman that when Allah and His Messenger have given their decision in
a matter, they should exercise an option in that matter of theirs. For whoever disobeys Allah and His Messenger,
has indeed strayed into manifest error.
Whatever written of Truth and benefit is only due to
Allah’s Assistance and Guidance, and whatever of error is of me alone. Allah Alone Knows Best and He is the Only
Source of Strength.
Your brother and
well wisher in Islam,
Burhan
