As salaam aleikum, burhan bhai

i`m 20yrs old a married women for last four years without children,my husband is 22yrs elder to me we both love eachother a lot my husband is having lot of health problem because of this his sex drive as become very week,which makes me un satisfied one of my friend told me if i`m not satisfied then our `NIKAAH` becomes haraam. p`ls advise me on this.

Answer:

Sex satisfy

In the name of Allah, We praise Him, seek His help and ask for His forgiveness. Whoever Allah guides none can misguide, and whoever He allows to fall astray, none can guide them aright. We bear witness that there is none worthy of worship but Allah Alone, and we bear witness that Muhammad (saws) is His slave-servant and the seal of His Messengers.

The sacred institution of ‘nikaah’ or marriage in Islam is only broken through a divorce or if one dies. The sexual satisfaction of the couple by itself has absolutely no relation to the validity of one’s ‘nikaah’ or marriage in the least.

Rest assured that your friend who told you that if one partner is not sexually satisfied in their marriage their ‘nikaah’ becomes ‘haraam’ is absolutely mis-informed and incorrect.
