Answer:
Call Allah throught His Attributes
In the name of Allah, We praise Him, seek His help and ask
for His forgiveness. Whoever Allah guides none can misguide, and whoever
He allows to fall astray, none can guide them aright. We bear witness that
there is none worthy of worship but Allah Alone, and we bear witness that
Muhammad (saws) is His slave-servant and the seal of His Messengers.
Your Question: Is it
ok to thanks and call Allah swt with His most beautiful names while in Sujood
(prostration).
Allah Says in the Holy Quran Chatper 7 Surah
Aaraaf verse 180:
180 The Most Beautiful Names all belong to
Allah: so call on Him by them.
Allah Says in the Holy Quran Chatper 17 Surah
Israa verse 110:
110 Say: "Call upon Allah or call upon ‘Ar-Rahmaan;: by
whatever Name ye call upon Him (it is well): for to Him belong the Most
Beautiful Names. Neither speak thy prayer aloud nor speak it in a low
tone, but seek a middle course between."
Beloved Sister in Islam, not only is it ‘ok’ and
permissible to call upon the Lord Most High by His Noble and Exclusive Names
and Attributes (while prostrating in prayer or otherwise), it is highly
recommended and encouraged to do so.
The Prophet (saws) said, 'The closest one of
you comes to his Lord is while he is prostrating, (therefore) make many
supplications therein.' And he (saws) also said, 'I have prohibited you from
reciting (Quran) while bowing (ruku) or prostrating (sajdah). During the
bowing, glorify the Lord. During the prostrations, strive your hardest in
making supplications. Most likely, you will be listened to."
Related by Ahmad and Muslim.
The Messenger of Allah (saws) encouraged the believers to
make as many supplications to their Lord Most Gracious as they desired while in
the state of prostration, for the closest one comes to his Lord Most Merciful
is while one is in the state of prostration unto Him.
Whatever written of Truth and benefit is only due to
Allah’s Assistance and Guidance, and whatever of error is of me alone. Allah Alone Knows Best and He is the Only
Source of Strength.

well wisher in Islam,
Burhan
