Answer:
Aqabah foster sister of PM
In the name of Allah, We praise Him, seek His help
and ask for His forgiveness. Whoever Allah guides none can misguide, and
whoever He allows to fall astray, none can guide them aright. We bear witness
that there is no one (no idol, no person,
no grave, no prophet, no
imam, no dai, nobody!) worthy of worship but Allah Alone,
and we bear witness that Muhammad (saws) is His slave-servant and the seal of
His Messengers.
Q-1: who is the foster sister of
the holy prophet (PBUH)?
History has recorded that the foster-sisters of the
Noble Prophet (saws) were the daughters of his foster-parents Haris and Halima,
Shaima binte Haris, and Aneesa binte Haris.
The Prophet (saws) also had a foster brother named
Q-2: how old was the holy prophet
(PBUH)?
The Prophet (saws) was 63 years old at the time of
his death.
Q-3: who was the first wife of the
holy prophet(PBUH)?
At the age of 25, the Noble Prophet (saws) married
his first wife Hadrat Khadijah binte Khuwailid (r.a.) who was a widow and 40
years of age.
Q-4: How many kids does prophet (
PBUH ) had from each wife ?
From his first wife, Hadrat Khadijah (r.a.) the
Prophet (saws) had six children:
1. Qasim
2. Abdullah
3. Zainab
4. Ruqaiyyah
5. Umme Khulthoom
6. Fatimah
From Maria Kibtia (r.a.), the Prophet (saws) had one son
whose name was Ibraheem.
The Prophet (saws) did not have children from any
of his other wives. His (saws) three
sons Qasim, Abdullah, and Ibraheem all died in their infancy and three of his
four daughters, Zainab, Ruqaiyyah, and Umm Khulthoom died as adults during the
life time of the Prophet (saws). The
only child who survived the Prophet (saws) was Hadrat Fatimah (r.a.).
Q-5: who did the holy hand baiyet
of oqaba occur ?
There were two ‘bayts’ or allegiance made to the
Prophet (saws) by the Ansars of Madinah, and both were given near the
‘Jamarah-al-Aqabah’ (where the stoning of the Shaytaan takes place) in Mina, on
the outskirts of Makkah. The first
allegiance came to be known as the ‘Bayt al-Aqabah al-oola’, and the second was
known as the ‘Bayt al-Aqabah at-thaniya’.
Bayt al-Aqabah al-oola or the
First: In the
12th year after Prophethood, on the 12th day of
Dhil-Hajjah during the period of Hajj, twelve believers of Madinah (10 from the
tribe of Khazraj and two from the tribe of Aws) made the first allegiance to
the Prophet (saws) and invited him (saws) to migrate to Madinah. They pledged that if the Prophet of Allah
(saws) were to migrate to Madinah they would support, help and defend him with
their lives and their means, if the need so arose. After this allegiance, the Prophet (saws)
sent his noble companion Hadrat Musab bin Umair (r.a.) to Madinah to invite
their citizens to Islam, and by the Grace of Allah, many in Madinah accepted
Islam during the corresponding year.
Bayt al-Aqabah at-thaniya or the
Second: The
next year, the 13th year after Prophethood during the period of
Hajj, 75 believers of the city of
Madinah (73 men and two women) met the Prophet (saws) secretly at night near
the first ‘Jamarah’, and again invited him (saws) to bring the mission to the
city of Madinah or Yathrib as it was then called. They again pledged that they would support,
help, and defend the Prophet (saws) and the mission with their lives and their
means, if the need arose.
