Brother, Is Islam a deen that everybody on earth should convert to?  As you know Allah says in the Holy Quran in Chapter 14 Surah IBRAHIM verse 4:  We sent not a messenger except (to teach) in the language of his (own) people, in order to make (things) clear to them. Now Allah leaves straying those whom He pleases and guides whom He pleases: and He is Exalted in power, full of Wisdom.

So if a nation has already been sent a messenge. Thanks.

Answer:

Must everybody convert to Islam?

In the name of Allah, We praise Him, seek His help and ask for His forgiveness. Whoever Allah guides none can misguide, and whoever He allows to fall astray, none can guide them aright. We bear witness that there is no one (no idol, no person, no grave, no prophet, no imam, no dai, nobody!) worthy of worship but Allah Alone, and we bear witness that Muhammad (saws) is His slave-servant and the seal of His Messengers.

Allah says in the Holy Quran in Chapter 14 Surah IBRAHIM verse 4:We sent not a messenger except (to teach) in the language of his (own) people, in order to make (things) clear to them. Now Allah leaves straying those whom He pleases and guides whom He pleases: and He is Exalted in power, full of Wisdom.

The above quoted aayah simply states that whenever Allah sent a Messenger to its people, they conveyed the Message of Allah in the language of the people, so that they would understand the Message properly.

All the Prophets who ever came to this Planet Earth, were sent with the One Same Message of Tawheed or Oneness of Allah! Every single Prophet came and gave the same basic Message to their people: ‘There is no god worthy of worship except Allah Alone, and He has no partners.’ Prophet Mohamed (saws) said in an authentic narration that Allah has sent in excess of 124,000 Prophets all over the world before him, and they all came with the exact same Message. But with time, the people corrupted the Message and got involved in the heinous sin of shirk, or associating other deities with Allah! All the Prophets who came before Prophet Mohamed (saws) were sent to convey the Message to their own people … but when the world was ready to receive the One Last Universal Message, Allah appointed the Last Messenger as Prophet Mohamed (saws), and revealed unto him the Last Message of the Glorious Quran… and this Message was the Last and Final Testament of Allah until the Day of Judgment!

Prophet Mohamed (saws) did not come with a new Message; but rather was sent to confirm the Message of all the other Prophets before him, and ‘perfect’ the Message which had been corrupted by the peoples of the world. And that Message, from the very first man and Prophet on earth, was the deen of Islam!

Every Prophet who ever came on this Planet Earth, declared Islam as the chosen Way of Life ordained by Allah; and each and every one of them prophesized about the advent of the Last and Final Messenger of Allah, Mohamed ar-Rasool Allah (saws). Thus, no matter which Prophet came to which people, it is incumbent upon them today to accept Prophet Mohamed (saws) as that Last and Final Messenger of Allah, if they truly believe in the Prophets sent to them. If they deny the Prophethood of Prophet Mohamed (saws), it means that they have denied the teachings of their own Prophets… and whoever denies one Prophet of Allah, has denied all the Prophets of Allah, and cannot thus be a believer!

Allah says in the Holy Quran Chapter 5 Surah Al Maidah verse 3:Today I (Allah) have perfected your deen for you and completed my Blessing on you and approved Islam as your way of life.

Allah says in the Holy Quran Chapter 3 Surah Ale-Imran verse 19:Indeed, Islam in the ONLY right way of life in the sight of Allah.

Allah says in the Holy Quran Chapter 3 Surah Ale-Imran verse 85:And whoever adopts any other than this way of Islam, that way shall not be accepted from him and in the Hereafter, he shall be among the losers.

Allah says in the Holy Quran Chapter 3 Surah Ale Imran verse 31-32:O Prophet, tell the people, “If you sincerely love Allah, follow me. Then Allah will love you and forgive you your sins, for He is All Forgiving, All Merciful.” Also say to them, “Obey Allah and His Messenger.” And if, in spite of this, they do not accept your invitation, warn them that Allah does not love those, who refuse to obey Him and His Messenger.

Allah says in the Holy Quran Chapter 9 Surah Taubah verse 33:He is Allah, Who has sent His Messenger with guidance and the Right Way so that He may make it prevail over all the other ‘deens’, even though the pagans be much opposed to it.

Allah has bestowed upon each human being and Jinn intelligence and a free will, which He has not given to any other of his Creation. Whoever leaves aside his longings for his race, color, nationality, pride, arrogance, and the following of a religion simply because he was born into it…. and uses his intelligence and common-sense, and truly searches for the Truth, the Merciful Lord, if He Wills, will guide him to Islam.

Whatever written of Truth and benefit is only due to Allah’s Assistance and Guidance, and whatever of error is of me. Allah Alone Knows Best and He is the Only Source of Strength.
